Comfort Suites Near Texas State University, San Marcos TX

I just checked in and not here 30 minutes and had to check out. It smells horrible. I'm seriously nauseous and the boys were begging me to leave.

Very bad experience.at breakfast there was no juice, milk, eggs and the biscuits were very hard also their pool was very dirty and apart from what you pay they charge you an extra charge for each night depending on the hospitality that is rubbish one pays For staying there, they never tell you that you are going to pay this money for each night. I never go back to that hotel

Pull out couch had stain on it, there was multiple ROACHES in hallway and the whole hotel literally looked like a hunted house cause they don't have a lot of lights. Overall the hotel seemed dirty and old.

First, the employees were great and very friendly. The bed was comfortable but everything in the room felt damp and soggy. And it smelled damp too. Needs some minor work. Caulking, trim, etc. Location only gets a 3 right now because of construction. Hard to get in and out of the small parking lot.

Ugly place, Bad front desk customer service, the front desk lady had bad actitud, I wanted to cancel de reservation she wasn’t helpful and the smell like smoke is terrible and the front desk and welcome carpet were disgusting I decided not to stay the place is not clean the front entrance yard was completely abandoned

We checked into the hotel and arrived to our rooms only to find in the night that our toilet was not working. In the morning we discovered the shower also was not functional. There had been a pipe issue earlier that we were not alerted to. Staff at the desk was not helpful in resolving the issue or finding solutions to possible room switch. They were very non apologetic the entire time as well. Maintenance finally came in the afternoon and the issue was resolved for our second evening. The manager on staff was not helpful or accommodating at all. We reached out for possible refund and have heard NOTHING.unacceptable. Would not stay here again. And do not recommend.

This place reeked of old building. The 3rd floor in particular smelled rank like old carpet. It was muggy in general, and the air was hard to control in the room (figured it out though). The carpet seemed sticky at times - may have been due to the mugginess but not sure. Hair was in the tub. They seemed short staffed. We opted not to have the breakfast provided, so I can't speak to that.

Disgusting place my roommates and i all got infested with bed bugs along with mold around the room 0/5 i hate this place.do better.

Had to ask for a room change, because the first room's bed had a large stain. Both rooms smell unpleasant. Breakfast was decent. Really like the packaged Belgian waffles and breakfast sandwiches they offered. Staff were nice enough. Location was one of the best things as it was right off the highway and not far from SM downtown, the outlets, and some great restaurants.

Hotel needs updating, room dirty, broken curtains, no hot water that evening.hair in bath tub.bed had signs of possible bed bugs.looked dirty! I complained about no hot water and dirty tub. The lady checking me out took forever because she was trying to give me a discount. They ended up charging my credit card again for another fee.called the hotel about the charge and she responded that it is showing as a credit. I had to dispute it on my credit card because it is a charge and not a credit. I don't think they know what they are even doing on the computer, Will never go for the cheaper hotel again. You get what you pay for.

Horrible hotel and worse customer service. Why is there a front desk if no one answers the phone? Expedia and I have been trying to reach out to the hotel for over a day now, no one answers ever. Had to cancel the rest of my stay because the hotel was filthy and tons of noise that woke us up at 4 or 5 AM. Hotel manager agrees to cancel and refund, Expedia needed confirmation and attempted multiple times to contact the hotel via email and phone to confirm, front desk and manager completely absent. Now having to deal directly with corporate to get this issue resolved.

This place was 110$ a night, missing lamps on wall staff was rude, dirty curtains I was so disappointed I went for vacation and it was horrible the pool was even dirty

The problem is that the shower was rusty clean but old.and the heating didn't work. We were cold all night.breakfast is more or less good
