The Jewel’s, Payton and Matthew, are so very good. Music was perfect. The food is top notch, our server didn’t miss a thing for us all three hours we were there. Great evening! Our second time and there will be more

Friendly staff. Very busy, but the TomatoFest is today. Fries were fresh and homemade. If I were 30 years younger I might have a shot at the barmaid.

The good food and great local entertainment doesn't make up for horrible service. If you choose to sit at bar, you're more likely to get attention. But for those of us that don't, don't expect much in the way of checking in or refills or even getting your bill. Shame.

Everything was perfect! We will be returning often. The service was excellent, food was wonderful, the music delightful!

Walked in, was told to choose a table. Ordered our drinks and food. Got our drinks. Unfortunately, the table we chose ended up being too close to the "stage" so we moved a table back to make room for the gigs set up. No biggie there. 40 minutes later, no server, no food, no eye contact from anyone in the place. Put 3 dollars on the table for my diet coke and left. FYI, we were the only customers in the place.

Service is soooooo slow, 1st at the bar and it still took 15 to get a drink. Bartender struggling she needed help. She knew what to do but she needed a barback. No glasses, backed up orders, etc. Servers not taking care of there customers hit and miss job. The band was really good.

My friend and I ate here today. This was my first time here and the food was delicious! I had the fish and chips and for my drink a strawberry mojito. My friend had a drink called flower power I think.

Great place to sit outside and have a drink while listening to live music. Love the atmosphere, and the service was good. The food was just ok. My wife's stuffed potato was barely warm and gave her a stomachache. My bangers and mash entrée was ok. The bratwurst was good, but the mashed potatoes and peas were marginal. Neither entrée tasted made-to-order. While the dessert was good, the server told us it was not made in-house and came frozen. She just popped in the microwave. I would go back for drinks and music and pass on the food.

Food was tasty; albeit a little less hot than I'd normally desire. The snake huevos were fantastic. Service staff were friendly, but overall service was a touch slow; may have been the kitchen. I would definitely go back and recommend to friends.

Out of tea. Out of tacos. Finally found something they have and the toast was burnt. They brought me more and I guess they were running out of bread because I got the heel, which would have been fine, except it was burned, too. Slow services made even slower by bringing the wrong order. Sigh. Second chance for this “restaurant” but never again. It’s more of a drinking establishment than a food place.

We went here for dinner last night. It wasn't super busy. Took us 15 minutes to get our drinks. 1 of which was a bottled beer. For some reason you have to order a mixed drink off of their menu (they will not stray even if they have the needed alcohols). I wanted a long island iced tea and was told they couldn't make one. About 45 mins to an hr later we finally got our food. We ordered chicken fried steak and it came out with a.honey mustard gravy? I'm not real sure what it was, but it wasn't very good. The chicken fried steak itself was good, just wish it would've been white gravy. Mashed potatoes reminded me of something you would get from a school cafeteria. Our waiter was friendly, but the slow service, odd choices for mixed drinks, and low quality food make this a place that I won't recommend to anyone

Great little place tucked away 1 block off of Hwy 79. Very spacious inside with great options for seating outside as well. Live music on the regular and a friendly staff. Plenty of parking and a friendly staff.
Pro’s of my food order-
Good sized burger that was seasoned well.
Draft beer selection was more than I expected
Con’s of my food order-
Chips were great size & fried perfectly but no salt or flavor at all (unlike my burger)
Raw red onion on burger when the menu stated caramelized onions
Order cheese extra but did not happen.
Love to have salt/pepper available
I will recommend, return & bring friends on my next trip.

Passing through from out of town, enjoyed a delicious lunch! Our server Brianna took excellent care of us!

We were looking for pet friendly restaurants in Jacksonville TX and we found this hidden gem. We were able to dine inside with our dog under the table. We saw one other couple with their dog there also. We had the chicken fried steak. It was home made, hand battered, with fabulous gravy. We even got serenaded by a live band. Great food and very welcoming atmosphere & staff.
