Community First! Village reviews
16What an excellent opportunity for your family to learn about the reality of life and helping our less fortunate friends.
For a community that serves the homeless First Community Village sure contracts with an aggressive tow company. I had a resident/friend contact me about possibly needing a ride to the hospital and within 30 minutes after parking before the gates had my vehicle towed, and now ironically I'm not only homeless, jobless, and now helpless. I've been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and it's difficult to communicate with people in person but when I contacted Reliant Towing about any kind of assistance for low income victims such as payment plan or anything their response was a laugh like I told a good joke and a "no we don't have anything like that". If you think this is wrong please consider rating my experience to make it more visible as a warning to others.
The Village is essentially the ARCH relocated with no hopes of people moving forward. I found a note from my child right before escaping this unfathomable place, she was 10 when she jotted down her thoughts.
STILL NO LIGHTS OR SECURITY ON THE PROPERTY AFTER 6 YEARS
This place needs to get shut down we have a whole community of perfect homes for homeless to have a perfect highway to steal they’ve been stealing from houses and this needs to get checked on immediately
Taking major strides to show a model for solving chronic homelessness. Focusing on the root cause, giving the opportunity for community, dignity, and shelter. ️
These people are changing the world, quite literally. This community is one that provides not only daily essentials, but also brings people hope when they're at a low point in life.
Visiting here, staying for a weekend, and serving is an amazing experience and puts life in perspective. The people here are some the friendliest, and will take you on a tour of the property to show you all the amenities.kitchens, bathrooms, event center, theater, etc.
Come for a movie night or just to hang out. 10/10 would recommend.
Community First! Says it all. You get a feeling of home, safety, and a caring community here. Residents take pride in their homes and are so welcoming. What an innovative and impactful place! They are figuring out solutions to some pretty huge problems.
Went to visit my mother and walk around to see all the new changes and faces to welcome ppl off the streets and Into their new home.
I been living in the community first village for 3 years now and I love it it's a good start for people trying to stand on their own again
Everyone should volunteer here at least once to see the value in coming together for something bigger than yourself.
Beautiful place, so cared for and clean. We didn't know about it and happen to drive by we saw the theater and tiny homes. Super impressed by everything offered to help people get up and sustainable. Well done!
Just wonderful.its beautiful and so very quiet.the ppl there are so gracious and friendly.can't wait to move there.love it!
Leasing staff were extremely patient and informative about the community and requirements. Sara was very professional and welcoming; we arrived 15 minutes late to our scheduled appointment and still felt like we had all our questions answered and did not feel rushed whatsoever.
Love Alan, the mission and community first! Family. The energy is palpable and contagious, so much love. Big Fan
