I affectionately call Congregation Beth Shalom, "the Little Synagogue that Could. " I have been a member now for almost 20 years and although we are small, we are mighty. From the moment I joined and put my son into Religious School, I was treated like family. If you are looking for a warm, active and spiritual community, then please join us!

Congregation Beth Shalom is truly the Jewish spiritual center in the Mid-Cities area. We are a chamishe community that welcomes Jews of all movements with open arms. I have experienced personal and spiritual growth that would not have been possible otherwise, and have developed bonds and lasting relationships with many in this community. We truly have something for everyone, but don’t take my word for it! Come and see for yourself!

Beth Shalom has been a part of my family since I got married and moved to Texas from California. I am so thankful to them for being with me and my family through all the life events that I got to share with them. Members of Beth Shalom are truly my family in Texas, and I will always appreciate all the people involved with continuing this gift to the Jewish families in Arlington, Texas.

CBS is a loving, vibrant community - we raised our family there and have been members for 30+ years. Everyone is welcome!

My family and I have been members for over 20 years. After moving all over the country, and being members at every stop, we were blown away with the community here at Beth Shalom! It was and is such a welcoming and inclusive group of people who immediately thought of you as family. My children grew up with a plethora of Temple cousins, aunts and uncles and grandparents whom they still stay in touch with even though they have grown and moved away. Beth Shalom is a true blessing.

I have found a spiritual home for my soul. The care and attention to details individually and as a Congregation has been so needed in these life changing times we live in.

Beth Shalom is the most warm and welcoming congregation that I have ever been a part of. My children were Bar and Bat Mitzvahed, and confirmed here. My husband and I have always felt like CBS is home.

CBS is a small, friendly congregation offering families and adults an inviting place to worship, celebrate and grow together. My family has made wonderful connections and friendships here.

CBS is a great place anyone can call home in North Texas. The services are great and the community is beyond supportive. In addition to supporting the Jewish community in Arlington, CBS has been supporting Camp Impact for years and has shown to be an asset to the entire community. I couldn’t be more proud to have CBS in Arlington!

Congregation Beth Shalom is a place to call home. My family has been members for over 20 years and I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of those years. I got Bar Mitzvahed there, got confirmed there and made a lot of friends there along the way. I would highly encourage anyone looking for a place to worship that they look no further than CBS if you are looking for a place that will welcome you with open arms and embrace you into their “family”.

Small, friendly, diverse and welcoming community. Cantor Sheri Allen speaks of the need for local and global justice for the most vulnerable: truth, justice and peace as in Ethics of Our Fathers{Pirke Avot}, one of the very bedrocks of Judaism in thought and in action. "The world stands on three things-truth, justice and peace". What else needs to be said?

My husband and I are new converts and we were warmly welcomed as part of this amazing family! If you are looking for a home that is full of welcoming people from all backgrounds, while still being able to study Torah and celebrate the Jewish faith, then this is it!

BEST SYNAGOGUE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! My family and I just moved to Arlington from Miami. On the biggest holiday of the year, Yom Kipur, they let us in to pray and it was like we were family from the moment we sat down. There are kids there that are my kids ages and they all got along so I will be putting the kids in Hebrew school. My wife is catholic but alot of people there converted to Judaism so my wife felt right at home. I can't thank CBS enough for the mitzvah they did. Needless to say, we found our synagogue and met new friends. If you are looking for your synagogue in the Arlington area, trust me, you just found it!

I attended this Shul for Hebrew school seeing it develop from a hospital room into an actual synagogue. Since being Bar Mitzvah'd I've kept the Torah they gave to me and traveled around the world to quite a few other synagogues.

Recently I decided to make Aliyah which has been hard but seeing some of the other Hebrew Schools around I can say they offered a decent education at Beth Shalom.
