Congressman Bill Archer Dog Park reviews
19My dogs love this park! The best dog park in nation! We go twice a week (used to go almost every day) (we live West U.kinda far) maintenance is good and dogs are nice there. Huge park so dogs are so comfortable. Water is clean and my dogs love swimming there!
So far this is our favorite dog park! Bone shaped pool in the big and small dog sides, HUGE agility field to run/play in, a few benches, MUDHOLES and a doggy wash station so bring their shampoo! Restrooms avaliable on the side of the park but watch out for the June bugs!
I would give extra stars if it has the possibility to walk our dog at night, beside that it is very big, clean, please follow the rules of the park, dont mess up the sizes of the dog, smalls with the smalls, if you have aggresive dogs, please take him to an Dog Trainer, it is not expensive comparated to an unfortunate situation,
Favorite place to take our furry family members, a lot of open space for then to run around and play as well as a nice community to be around.
Great place to take your dog if they like to run and socialize. Plenty of bath stations to clean up your muddy pup before bringing them home. Park restrooms are available too unlike some other dog parks.
Big large dog space, shaped around a generous small dog enclosure. It's in a naturally low wet area of west Houston/ East Katy and the paths in the 3/4 mile loop trail have some muddy moments. The park does provide a dog wash pens for muddy paws/feet as you leave. A very big water pool for the large dogs that love water, with a jump platform, and textured slopes along the edges for easy swim outs. There is plenty of room for social and less social dogs. We'll be back.
My pet loves it. I like the cleanliness and the ability to wash the animals after we walk, run and roll around in the mud puddles.
This dog park is one of the nicest well kept that I have visited have almost a one mile path inside the fence with a smaller dog park right next door. Their is a lake for the dogs and a course set up with ramps and tunnels.
Best dog park in Houston and surrounding cities. Large walking path, large and small dog park sides, dog bone shaped pools and agility courses on both small and large dog parks. Clean parks. Safe parks. Dog washing stations and bathrooms.
Possibly my favorite dog park in Houston! Always clean, friendly people and dogs. There's a trail to walk a loop around the entire dog park. It has a little lake, ramps, jumps and of course regular amenities like water, poop bags and nice covered sitting areas. Great place for you and your dog to enjoy! Check it out
We normally love bringing our pup to this park but our dog was attacked by a pit bull while we were walking our dog (on leash) out of the park to leave. Completely unacceptable. Thankfully my dog wasn’t injured.
Amazing. Really grateful to God and this country for such wonderful places as these.and thanks to all those people who do the maintenance.
We were visiting from out of state and staying at a nearby campground and need a place for our dogs to get some of their energy out. This place was great! Lots of space, shade, and I loved the pet wash areas. The weird color of the water was concerning. There was a slimy area at the left side. I tried to keep my dogs out of it, but they wouldn't listen. It was a fun place. I would be there several times per week if we lived there. Just wear old shoes and bug spray, its very swampy there.
This is my favorite dog park to go to so far. The small dog area is still very size able but the large area is massive with plenty of space for dogs to share. Gets a bit muddy after rain but it’s expected like anywhere else. Every person and dog I’ve met so far has been very friendly too!
Loved this place! Be sure to bring shampoo! Carry it in the car they are gunna get dirty and there is a shampoo station. Flip flops are a good idea too.
Please don't bring your aggressive dogs here.
Great dog park. There is a park for small dogs and a park for big dogs
I only use the big one, because my dog is over the weight limit.
Big dog side has a nice trail, dog bone shaped pond, lots of muddy holes for dogs to play in, dog poo bag stations and trash cans spread around, and an obstacle course. Not sure why my dog doesn't like the dog water fountain.
There are some aggressive dogs, but you need to stay vigilant. Some aggressive dog owners don't care, and others will take care of their dog immediately. I've seen dogs draw blood and others limp away.
There are also some really nice people and nice dogs here.
Great dog park! Huge park to let the dogs run! They have ponds for the dogs to swim in. Showers to wash your dogs before they get in the car. Loved seeing all the dogs play together.
This doggie park is located in a wooded area near HW6@I10. Easy to find, lots of parking space. Two big parks with pool, pavilion, and trails. Great for your fur babies to run and exercise.
All I have to say is, "Dog park? " and they get all excited and can't keep still. Great place to let 'em burn off all that extra energy.
