Dr. Torrijos has really been a quarterback for my grandpa's health game plan. He knows when to play defense and offense. Very eloquent and understanding of my family's needs as well and the support he gives all of us is very healing. Thank you Dr. Torrijos you will be severely missed when you leave.
The nurses and aides are angels on earth they really make the difference.thank you all for everything you have done for my grandpa

Went there in January because I was not feeling well at all. They didn't do anything for me said I was ok and sent me home. Went to a hospital in SA. Turns out I had a stroke. Thank God for the doctors in San Antonio.

Recently went to er last week and was checked in and waiting to be called. Doctor ordered xray while i was in waiting room WITHOUT even seeing me first. When getting into the back they already had xray waiting. Not even 5 minutes later doctor came in and told me "stop putting your foot in front of wheelchairs at work and nothing is broken" was sent back home all within not even 30 minutes in er and no meds for pain for a broken toe that they would not even fix. Went to san antoino hospital. And this isnt the first time they refused to treat me

Don't go here unless you want to die. After I made them treat me properly because they could not on their own. They sent me home and blocked my Dr from getting my test results. Sounds like a malpractice suit to me. A few months before this I dropped my wife in the er. No one was there. I had to run down the halls screaming for help then they looked at me like I was crazy. I left to pick up my children and returned 2 hrs later and my wife was laying on the floor in the waiting room where they basically dumped her. They say contact us so we can address this but then they just push the blame on me and act like it's not their fault or problem. I ment it don't go here unless you want to die.

Connally Memorial has the most passionate and caring staff & physicians around! Don’t let the “small town hospital” fool you. They have just as much advanced medical technology/services as hospitals in San Antonio and provide high quality care. You’re not just a number at CMMC.

ER Staff is exceptional. Dr. Paddock and the night team on 11/25/22 alongside a team of EMTs saved my life by providing an emergency tracheostomy surgery due to a severe anaphylactic shock episode. While I'll never know the names of everyone involved, my deep appreciation is bottomless for the swift action and professionalism of everyone on duty and it is the absolute only reason I am still here today and my kids still have a mother. From everything that I am, thank you.

I came here because I was dealing with some issues and a few of those issues were lightheadedness, blacking out and a sharp pain in my lower abdomen on top of that I was dealing with extreme nausea headaches coughing, very sick phlegm to the point I was choking I made them aware of everything and he pushed me off with a viral infection he prescribed me a anti-nausea medication after not being able to eat or hold anything down including liquids for two days he did not run test. He did nothing except a Covid test. I am very irritated because I have a child I do not want to faint while holding my kid and the fact that I was just pushed off as unimportant and I am very irritated because this has happened the past two times I have came it’s like why do I even bother to get healthcare needs met by a hospital that doesn’t care

Like any other business you dig far enough you find a bad review. I could write a book on all the great things this staff has done for me. ER Doctor, Nurse, triage, blood taker. Second Floor inpatient staff Doctor, Nurse, Nurses aid, blood takers, and respiratory team. All shifts 3 days.
I tried my best on remembering names
But I’m old, sorry. Went in not able to get my breath. Think it was 84-86 on meter. They wasted no time getting me oxygen. Had Pneumonia 2 weeks prior, I thought it was relapse. X-ray blood work. Still limited retention of oxygen breathing on my own after meds. 2 Floor inpatient room. They were waiting for me, The next few days I really felt if I hadn’t got the care
Maybe different out come. After care
Insurance/H‑E‑B had conflict on certain drug. Just made quick call to the floor nurse and she straitened it out with H‑E‑B. I there is a person in charge of putting the shifts together for these days. You earned you money.
If not to all that helped me. Thank you and thank you for knowing your jobs.

Long story but. Feel comfort if your family members need correct help.
You will receive it here. Sorry bout the blood takers name. I’m a tough stick

Thanks Robert Mcintosh

I was taken to this hospital by ambulance. I am a disabled veteran and besides other medical issues I suffer from panic attacks. I went to drop my son to school and I stated having a panic attack in the parking lot. The ambulance arrived and the EMT asked me if I use THC, I was prescribed THC gummies for my PTSD by the Texas Compassionate Program. The EMT asked me when was the last time I took a gummy and I said last night. The EMT was talking to some one outside the ambulance and I heard him said she said she took one yesterday, but I think she took one this morning. Till this day I have no idea who he was talking to. Giving my medical information to the whole world. When we got to the hospital the same EMT said it aloud in the hospital, he said she took one last night, but I think she took one this morning. I got discharged and it was documented it was a anxiety panic attack.
Next thing you know I had CPS talking to us, pulling my kids out of classes to talk to them.
I preferred to died than to be attended in this hospital again. I have to drive in pain all the way to BAMC or Audie Murphy, because this bad experience. I won't recommend this hospital to anyone.

Head clerk that takes money really nice, the doctor never took time to explain lab results, had the nurse quickly do it, and I had to ask. Nice people, very unprofessional tho.

I'm Sorry I can't remember all the names of the staff that attended to my friend in the emergency room. The entire staff was professional and attentive
Sorry I can't give individual kudos

Do not come here for radiology needs. Their performance is dangerously unsafe for the following reasons:

Only do 2 views sag and ax of the brain instead of the area standards of three views which include cor.

The lack of due diligence led to the radiologist missing the depth of brain tumor being 5.86mm and labeled the mass as a lesion (at first read in 2022 he completely missed it). Fortunately the outside treating doctor and scans from other hospitals caught it.

They take large slices (how many pictures are taken per scan by millimeter) including sag view of 5mm which missed a rupture in my brain and a 6mm adc which completely missed the tumor.

The settings of slices and views are set by the hospital in the state of Texas meaning it is by choice that connally memorial takes these big risks with their patient's health.

When I complained and brought them films from two area hospitals for comparison I received a letter stating they were satisfied with their standards and no changes are needed. This is from Dr. Greg Boys according to their certified letter.

Of note they do not have a neurologist on staff and outsource the reading of the images. They have sent mine to the same Dr each time. He completely missed there was even a mass during the first read, which started my first complaint with the hospital. As they do not have a neurologist on staff I highly discourage coming to the emergency room with any neurological disorders; they are not equipped to treat or diagnose such life sensitive issues.

Further they charge more than other local imaging places and provide an insufficient and industry standard lacking scan.

Two stars because they appeared friendly and receptive. It is my observation that the lack of due diligence is competence related and not purposefully malicious.

Attached photo is their response.

The process of getting the X-rays that were ordered by my doctor was wonderful. The checkin was very seemless and the X-ray tech was excellent. The two stars are because they did not send the results back to my doctor who I had a follow up appointment with two weeks later. And here I sit at that appointment waiting for Connally to do something that should have been automatically done two weeks ago. I can’t even get them on the phone.

Worst hospital ever.wife went there for a new onset of seizures and all they did was a ct scan. No blood work done, but oh they surely stuck her with a needle.no consideration of admittance of further testing. Only go if you have no other choice.

Called and tried to get my kiddoe scheduled for immunizations she needed for school the woman told me she couldn’t schedule her till after her birthday in May. When I asked if they had openings before then for new patients she said yes but that my daughter had to wait…. It made no sense. I called a Pediatrician in San Antonio and was scheduled for the next day… Conolly won’t get business from me going forward.

Absolutely will not recommend this emergency room! Unfortunately it is the closest hospital to me and I felt our son couldn’t travel to a different hospital a little more out of town, but that being said the nurse was nice and took care of my 10month old son very nicely. But the doctor who saw my son was horrible and disrespectful to me! I left crying because I was so upset with how she handled my son and I while at the hospital. She didn’t seem to care about my son’s symptoms or even want to deal with him. She literally told me “ well he looks to be fine, you could just like I don’t know leave” before even doing an exam or anything! And then proceeded to tell me how me coming in was basically a waste of time and energy! And how a simple car ride around town would have fixed his crying from being in pain. I’ll never take my family back to this emergency room again!
