I cannot sit idly by, knowing what this person is doing to gentlemen in need. The lady that runs this organization needs to be shut down. The way she treats people is completely unwarranted and disgusting. She told me and my son's father that he could not leave with my family on over nights except for once a month. Any other visitation would have to be on her property, once a week, for one hour. He wasn't on probation or parole and didnt come there from jail. We were trying to integrate my son's father into our family, since they had just met. Also, at the time of this writing, none of the residents are allowed to have their personal phones, except from 3 to 5pm, Monday through Friday, due to something that happened during a Bible study. Ms. Hart's good friend i guess was leading the Bible study and someone did something she didn't appreciate, like smile, and through a hissy fit. Mind ya'll this has been a couple of days before Go Texan Day, so yeah, been awhile. This makes getting in touch with doctors and making appointments virtually impossible. Giving Ms. Hart's number to family is no use because she never picks up and her voicemail is full. But that's not all. If you have food stamps then you pay for your room and board with those I suppose but good luck getting the card back. We picked up my son's father so he could live somewhere else and she had the card when he left so we had to go back the next day and get it. By the time he got the card back into his possession all of the funds were gone and there had just been a deposit on the card a couple days prior. It's just a shame to see her use these gentleman's circumstances against them, to get whatever she wants. If you are in a situation where you need help and shelter. Please go somewhere else. This place isn't worth it.
