This office is trash. They never return calls. Worst experience ever for a physician office and my son's care was not treated like a priority. Dr. Whitney gets no stars from me.

Amanda was extremely rude on the phone. The lady that answered prior to that just sent the call to an extension that kept saying “please enter mailbox number”. How do they expect patients to schedule appointments. I am going to inform the referring pediatrician not to refer these guys.

This office was awful. The nurses were very kind, but they were 15 minutes late to getting us in the doctor's room (not unusual for a doctor's office - I'll let that go), but nearly an hour and a half later we were still not seen by the audiologist. I finally gave up and walked out. It was a total waste of my morning. I definitely won't be going back.

I have been bringing my son here for years. This is the only office that takes his insurance that isn't over an hour away. He's now had 3 sets of tubes and his adenoids taken out and still having ear issues. Every appointment takes an excessive amount of time. Even when I schedule first thing in the morning. An 8am appointment and we were the first people in the door, still didn't get called back until 8: 20.it's now 8: 40 and STILL haven't even seen the doctor. When I scheduled the appointment I was told first appointments go quick.but 40-45 minutes in the office and still not even seeing the doctor is NOT quick in any facility.

Would give a lower rating if it was allowed. Been dealing with allergy issues for 10 years with our son. Been “working with” this place for a year. Can book appointments more than 3 months out. They cancel appointments and don’t tell you until you show up. No one is available when situations arise. All they do is apologize but never fix the problem. I would be embarrassed to be associated with this place.

DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE - We took our son to get his tongue tie fix on his upper lip and lower lip. We were initially under the impression that we were scheduled to see Dr. Mcclay but when we arrived, they stated we actually had an appointment with Dr. Bakthavachalam, Sivasanker, MD. We continued with the appointment as he was not able to nurse with these ties. After it was done, our baby was incredibly fussy and seemed to be in pain but they told us that was normal. He was also bleeding and salivating quite a bit which they had me hold a gauze over his lips to combat that. The Doctor came back in, looked at him and told us we were good to go. The rest of the day he was incredibly fussy and would not nurse. We had our normal month check up the next morning so we took him to our normal pediatrician where he looked at the lip and stated it was infected and prescribed antibiotics. We were so sick to our stomachs when he told us this. For a new mother, I can tell you that this was an incredibly infuriating and sickening experience. What I realized after the fact, and after speaking with a family member who is a nurse, is that the Doctor most likely burnt my son’s lip with the cauterizing sticks. I have called and emailed this place with pictures of what he did so many times and always get a “the manager is busy or not in” but your a “priority” and they will call you back. These people do not care about your child and will ignore you when things go wrong. Please don’t take your child here- it isn’t worth it.

Getting someone to answer the phone at this place is like pulling teeth. At our last appointment, we showed up at the Frisco location to find out that his appointment was actually in prosper, yet no one reached out to inform us of this prior to the appointment. The doctor recommended that we have our child’s adenoids removed, yet, I can’t get a hold of anyone to even schedule the surgery…
Anytime I have spoken with any of the staff it’s been in person and they are always so rude for no reason. We’ve decided to look elsewhere for our child’s treatment.

RUN FAR, FAR AWAY…

Worst decision I have ever made taking my son to this place. He was seen for a stuffy nose, congestion, and mouth breathing which seemed to cause him a bit of a sleep disturbance at night. Nothing major, but some light tossing and turning.

Dr. Bakthavachalam recommended having his adenoids removed letting me know that this could improve his breathing. So we did the procedure, and it went fine. We were told recovery was 1-2 weeks, and he should have drastic improvement.

Fast forward to today… two weeks on the dot. It has been a HELLACIOUS NIGHTMARE. At first his breathing seemed to be doing a bit better, but my poor 6 year old little boy now has sleep apnea caused by this procedure. He is snoring excessively to the point where he cannot sleep, and he stops breathing. He struggles all night and wakes up in tears because he is so miserable and uncomfortable. This procedure was supposed to improve his health, but has somehow made it 5 times worse, to the point where I am terrified that this has now caused permanent damage in my poor son and I don’t know what to do. They didn’t schedule his post op until 6 weeks out, and I asked to speak to a nurse in the meantime just to see what she thinks.

I’m praying that maybe he is just behind in his recovery, and things are still swollen so that is why he is suffering with the new snoring and the new apnea. Also as of tonight his nose has started bleeding.

I called them in tears, but to be honest, they couldn’t care less. I was told my phone call would take priority today, and that a nurse would call me right away…. And nothing. The same happened when it was time for his surgery, I couldn’t get an answer as to what time it was or anything until literally the night before and had to scramble to find childcare for my other son because they couldn’t tell me if it would be morning or afternoon. They are so busy and understaffed, they never answer the phone, they don’t return voicemails, they don’t seem to have a sense of urgency for their patients who are struggling, and you will NEVER, EVER get a call back from a nurse.

This decision may have affected my child’s life forever, and I can’t seem to even get a word from these people. At least a follow up to a worried mother. I have since found another office and will find out if they have given my son a procedure he didn’t really need, or if there is a way to fix the damage that has been done now.

I BEG of you, please find another ENT office for your child. I wish I had done more research on this place than just followed my PCP’s referral.

Today, I had a appointment at 3: 10 PM and for the appointment, I arrived before 3PM. I have waited 1 hr 15 mins and the doctor didn’t showed up. As per the front desk rep, I was the next one for the whole time but still no luck to see the doctor. 2nd thing, the nurse came for triage and asked me to put my son on the weighing scale and he weighed around 15 lbs so I have asked the nurse, how come he lost 4 lbs in 10 days? Then they restarted the scale and now he weighed 19+ lbs. And before that I confirmed with the nurse if the weighing scale working properly, she kept saying it’s working and no one complained. After, I mention he lost 4 lbs in 10 days, then only she restarted the scale. Not sure, how we can rely on any diagnosis by this center.

The nurse or whatever her job is, had the worst bedside manner with my son who was already traumatized from the hearing test. If you don’t like kids and can’t be empathetic, then work somewhere else.

I do not want to even give one star. The office didn’t run my insurance prior visit to see my referral is current even though we see the same doctor for almost 1 and half year for my daughter. Manager told me that is my responsibility to every time check with my insurance before visit. I end up paying 120 dollars instead of 40.
