Took my truck in for major work to be done to it. Two days later I called to check up on the progress only to be informed that my truck was not going to be looked at until the following week. I was not told about this when I dropped it off and when I was asking about it they said that the truck was being looked at and when I asked for my truck back they did not do no work on it. Very disappointed with the way they handled this situation.

Update7-19-22
Cook Ford says they have received confirmation of my cancelled warranties however, Cook Ford has no one to sign my check as promised.
Thursday is their deadline. #runaround!

I purchased a 2019 Ford Raptor in July 2019 from Cook Ford in Texas City. I recently traded that vehicle in at a different dealer. When my current dealer informed me to cancel my extended warranty and my gap insurance I went to Cook Ford and present my documents and ask them to cancel both and issue my refund. I was told by Susan their warranty representative that she can process the extended warranty but not the gap, the gap goes through my lender. To make a long story short that was incorrect I bought the gap and the extended warranty through Cook Ford and they knew that. At the time of purchase, their finance manager at the time Rick GOMEZ informed me that my credit union decided to pick up my loan on a contingency that I purchased an extended warranty and gap insurance.so, I did so. I called my credit union to cancel the warranty and Gap that’s when I was told by my credit union’s finance director, that was incorrect, they would never require a member to purchase either of those as a contingency of picking up their loan. My credit union also informed me that this is not the first time that they have heard of their members being deceived by a Cook Ford in regards to deceitful practices on the back end of a vehicle purchase. I have called Cook Ford every day since Thursday to verify submission of my refund I also asked for documentation proving that they submitted it but they said there is no such documents to be given. Cook Ford‘s representative also informed me today when I called that the government has stepped in a few years back and has required all gap insurance to be refunded by the lender due to dealerships not being forth right with refunds of gap insurance to their customers. After that was explain to me by the Cook Ford representative, I think she shocked herself when she realized what she just told me.she proceeded to let me know that she has canceled both my extended and my Gap ins.and should be processed 6 to 8 weeks. She said Cook Ford will receive a check to them from the warranty and gap policies and then Cook Ford will then then cut me a check. Don’t worry I’m gonna verify the amount that the warranty company sent Cook Ford before I accept that check. If you do the math of purchasing an extended warranty and gap insurance for the past three years that you were not required To purchase but did because you were deceived, that is an extra $3096 in three years plus interest that I had to pay out due to being deceived by a finance manager at Cook Ford Texas City. I guess they saw a woman coming in buying a $70000 vehicle on her own and decided, “hears my opportunity”. I may not have been savvy about financing vehicles back then but I sure the heck am now. Fingers crossed that I won’t be deceived again.

Russell and the rest of the employees took care of us. I am fully satisfied with our experience at Cook Ford. We only go to Russell for our car and truck needs. I went to Cook for service on my last truck and elected to buy a new one there because of the service experience. Their competitor in Dickinson quoted a month for a fix that Cook did in less than a day.

I started the purchase process online but quickly got connected with Gabe who is a great person. From start to finance it was a solid purchase experience as well.

Definitely recommend these guys for sales or service.

As an out of towner with an oil leak, Cook Ford was very helpful and courteous in getting me a diagnosis on record so that I could take my truck into my local Ford Dealership for repair without paying for the repair, since it would be over the 60K Power Train Warranty by the time I got back home. They inspected the truck, wrote up a report and invoice, and even attached the Technical Service Bulletin associated with the leak to the invoice. All within an hour and a half of them going home for the weekend. The service advisors were very friendly and courteous. And I did not once, for the first time dealing with a Ford Service Advisor feel like I was a inconveniencing them or ruining there day. It was very refreshing. Would definitely want to try to make this my local Ford Service Center if I wasn't so far away. Highly recommend based on my experience.

Dave Delisio is THE service god for Ford vehicles. He knows these vehicles and knows how best to handle each repair. Cook Ford lucky to have such a great staff.

Tommy Roth was very helpful, calm and relaxed. Never felt any type of pressure and Tania Brown the finance manager was equally professional and courteous. I suggest anyone thinking of purchasing a vehicle should try Cook Ford. Hector Gutierrez

Took my vehicle in on a Thursday they said they'd have it done the next day. Then Monday. Then maybe Tuesday then maybe Thursday. Then Thursday they said it would be ready by 3pm. Then it wasn't ready. Finally ready 1 week after they said it would be only reason I'm giving this a 3 star rating is because Taylor in the service dept is great, she helped with getting a coupon to help out with the extra expenses for the work needed. She's the only saving grace there.

Zach Moreno was very helpful with helping me out in getting me a Kia Optima. It’s a wonderful car. I appreciate all of his help and test driving it to. Also Tania Brown Finance Manager was so wonderful and helpful to and it didn’t take very long to deal with getting me a car and to drive home in it. Tabitha to earlier in the day when I called was very polite and helpful to on the phone. I really appreciate all of you Wonderful People. Thank you so very much Cook Ford.

This dealership doesn’t do the whole market adjustment and also doesn’t add on a bunch of extra stuff you didn’t want so they can charge you thousands extra. They were straight forward and easy to deal with. I would recommend Cook Ford to anyone, even if you have to drive a little. We came from north Louisiana and it was absolutely worth the drive.

Recently did a Pre-scheduled routine maintenance (oil, filter) - wait was over 1 1/2 hrs.and cost was over $60. Guess this is last time will do routine here.

We recently moved to the coast and needed to find a Ford dealer that could service our Explorer ST. We chose Cook Ford over a Ford dealership that is closer because of the way they treated our son when his car was serviced by Cook Ford last month. I dropped off our car a little after 1: 00 to get a panel on the drivers seat repaired and asked they perform the regular maintenance while it was there. The service advisor called me at 4: 00 to tell me the car was ready. Outstanding!

They told my husband they did a full inspection on the vehicle, we took the vehicle home next day we noticed a bad tire with the white threaded noticeable, leaking oil spots in the garage, front left head wouldn’t come on. My husband put down 5000 down on this vehicle. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone. If I could I would give them a zero star but I can’t
