Copperas Cove Animal Control reviews
16It's animal control so you cant really complain about this place because it does what it does well.
They were very friendly and helpful. They helped me get a beautiful dog home. Lucy was lost and in the middle of the road. I stopped and put her in my car so she wouldn't get hit.
I had a great experience this time. I adopted a fur baby. In the past when I had donated food and blankets it was not so good.
Very friendly staff. Just adopted our new boy Rocky from here. Everything was so easy and we found the perfect dog for our family. Recommended for anyone looking for a rescue.
Everything was okay with the process of getting my dogs, just very rude & sarcastic service. I felt like I was treated by a child by one specific person.
I have used copperas cove animal control on many occasions and have gad a great experience each time.
The staff is always professional and they are very nice people.
Took a lost cat in to see if it was chipped to find its owner, and they didn't just stop there, like I'd expect any other animal control to do. After I took the cat home and waited a bit, I called to see if there was an update and they had through a lot of trouble to figure out who's cat it was. They seemed more eager to keep the cat in my hands because the other owners were hardly interested, and although I personally couldn't take him, our neighbors could, and had already fallen in love with him. Happy ending for everyone:) Very lovely people providing very lovely service. Would certainly adopt from them in the future.
My niece volunteers for this animal control, so I have had many opportunities to be around there. What I see is a professional staff of employees. Tammy Hall took my niece under her wing and, most importantly, ensures her safety, for the three years my niece has volunteered there. When the center experienced a bursted water pipe during last year's inclimate weather, the staff navigated a seemless transition of closing and reopening the facility. What impresses me the most is the number of pets they take in and then finding them new, loving homes, along with the cleanliness of the pet areas and the improvements made to ensure the pets are comfortable and well taken care of. Hoping everyone votes yes for proposition N, because it means so much to the future of this important, necessary service to the city and county.
They take outstanding care of the animals in their care and do everything they can to got new forever homes for all the animals
They tossed the puppy that we wanted to meet our dog in the middle of the grass for 5 min and our dog did growl but no time to introduce them! And they were on leashes.
Adopted a dog from here and the dog I chose was infested with flea sand was severely malnutrition
Then they sent court papers due to not vaccinated had to get him healthy first the staff don’t take care for the animals beware adopt or give them support for animals i
It's great if you want to find a pet. I personally get the feeling they just catch them, stick them in a cage and let them be. The dog we got from there was there for a month, didnt know her name, has major food agression, basically having to restart training a 2 year old dog. They don't even try anything with them
My granddaughter and I stopped in to see the animals. I like to stop in when ever we are in the area and let the kids visit with the animals. It was especially fun today because they had a chicken there that was very friendly. It wasn't ready for adoption yet but it sure did want to go home with us. Thank you to all the helpful people there at the shelter.
This shelter has treated me and my cat lexi great thank u guys for having a heart ️ I thank u guys for giving me my best friend
The animal control is really bad so many feral cats my house smells like cat urine I can't get rid of the it the keep coming back because of if it the city won't do anything
My significant other adopted an amazing dog at this shelter a few years back, she unfortunately passed away recently and I called to see if they had a photo from the day he during open adoption, The women I spoke to on the phone was very kind and compassionate and by luck they had it and very kindly sent it to me. I couldn’t be more great full to this place for giving us the chance to know our sweet loving dog Ivy. Thank you for all that you do!
