Corner Restaurant, Austin TX

After seeing nearly 10,000 5 star reviews, I had to check this restaurant out. It was amazing, Paddy our waiter was awesome.

The food was very good, we tried quite a few dishes including the Cornbread, Wagyu Burger, Honey Salmon, Cheese Balls, Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas and the White Chicken Chili.

The burger which we ordered Medium came cold and rare would be an understatement. It was barely cooked. We had to send it back. We did get a delicious free dessert for that which was very nice. The green chili enchiladas were quite salty and underwhelming. The cheese balls were meh. The cornbread and salmon were outstanding and so was the white chicken chili. Overall a solid 4 on the food.

Amanda is an amazing server! She is kind, attentive, and helpful. We had a great experience.

Stopped in for Brunch at the Corner. Pleasant warm industrial atmosphere indoors. We had buttermilk biscuits with strawberry jam that were simply heavenly! Lauren, our server, took excellent care of us - and we found out we went to the same high school in Minnesota! Go Royals!

Great waitress and bartender. Kim was awesome. Knew her stuff and was very sweet.

Great outdoor patio, fans kept it from getting too hot. Ordered the tuna tostada which was a perfect snack. Our bartender Kim was fantastic, very attentive and professional.

The salmon was wonderful. We had Gary as our server who was delightful! I will be back to dine again soon.

Favorite outside bar in all of downtown! The most gorgeous vibe (and you can catch a breeze), best rose and incredible bartenders, like Kim! Whether you’re a local or just traveling in town, highly recommend! You’ll meet awesome people, too!

Wonderful! Just in town for the night and this was within walking distance of our hotel. No wait to sit on a Friday night, so that was great. It's super dark in there, and I felt so old taking out my phone light to read the menu, but other than that it was great! I got the seven layer chicken salad, delish! My hubby got the brisket tacos and said they were great too. Those looked a little small to me, and he ate half my salad when he finished, so maybe one more taco would have made it perfect. We'll definitely visit again next time we're in town!

Gary gave us with top notch service. He is so polite and genuine. The food was great and the service was outstanding!

The corner restaurant had great drinks and food! Gary was a phenomenal server and went above and beyond to make us not only feel welcome but also picked out some great menu items! We will definitely be back.

Gary was very attentive to our dining needs. He was thorough and recommended amazing dishes. The brisket tacos were delicious and the Baja tacos were the best I have ever eaten! Keep up the amazing job!
