Corpus Christi KOA Journey

We have stayed at numerous KOAs with varying experiences. Big isn't always better and this KOA is a gem that we totally recommend to other RVers. It may be smaller than other KOAs yet it is clean, sites are spacious, has its own wonderful beach area, Pavillion, nice pool, and a wonderful view of the water. The staff is just fantastic! All are super friendly and clearly aim to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. Shout out to KOA host Susan who was such a joy to talk to. She recommended great places to eat, and beach we could take our Jeep out on and look for shells. She was spot on! She's just a wonderful person and her hospitality and customer service really shines. It's quiet, no constant traffic, easy to get to. Showers and wash room super clean. We were there 3 days and wished we could stay longer.

You will love staying at this KOA! Staff is amazing and the park is so well kept. Every site is waterfront! Wow!

By far the nicest k o a campground I have ever been to. Cement pad's cement driveway and the staff was outstanding!

Definitely a 5 star KOA. Great location, we stayed on site 59 Bayside. Beautiful sunrises and views all day long. The staff was awesome, friendly, and helpful. The attention to detail, keeping the grounds looking good, outstanding. Bathrooms are the best we have seen at a KOA. Heated pool was a great way to finish the day. Thank you

They function like a well oiled machine at KOA Corpus. Very friendly and attentive staff. By attentive I mean they closely monitor folks in and out which is by far the best thing my momma heart could ask for in a camp ground as our kiddos are pretty active outside. The laundry and bathrooms were so clean and convenient to use. We rented the boat slip to stow our boat while we stayed. It was set up with a ramp, dry dock and a spot for our trailer. The only bad thing was we only booked 4 nights; next stay will be longer! 10/10 recommend for the fishing/camping crews.

Awesome stay! We travel a lot and this was one of my favorite RV parks. We'll definitely be back when we go back to the coast!

We really enjoyed our stay! The KOA was just beautiful and staff was so friendly! They just go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and that you have a comfortable stay. The location is beautiful and restrooms, showers, laundry rooms are very clean. Saturday there was live music and we were texted about any upcoming activities. We will definitely be returning!

We really enjoyed our stay, 12 min drive to the beach. Nice amenities, clean. Gorgeous views. Staff very welcoming. All the sites are really nice, we chose a patio site. Can fish from each site. Dog friendly, staff gave our dogs treats. 5 min from an H‑E‑B. Look forward to another stay.

Absolutely amazing! From the water view, and I mean right on the water, to the staff, to the sites themselves, nothing was wrong. This is probably the best stay we have had! This park needs to be a model for all! Thank you for everything team!

This is the KOA that made me have hope again to stay at other KOAs. I had given up on KOAs prior to staying here, and I wasn't looking forward to coming here, but am I SO GLAD we did! We had a premium site located on the Laguna Madre shore. The patio with chairs, fire pit, table and four chairs and grill was spacious and clean. The sites are separate enough, so you don't feel cramped. The beach area is behind a small pool with a cabana deck where they have live music on Saturdays. That was so fun. They sell margaritas. STRONG, almost undrinkable, margaritas. There's a well stocked store. Ladies that run the shop are a bit slow to customer service and seem a little put out, but the guys running the show in the camp are so friendly and talk to you and ask about your stay. So nice! The laundry -$3/$2-is upstairs. So that was weird.and expensive. We just went to the local laundrymat down the street. There are 2 dog pins, well kempt. When we stayed in March, it was WINDY. 22-32 mph winds, so some days it just seemed unbearably hard to venture out. We were also here during spring break, so the children descended on us. The first week we were here, there weren't any, so that was great! Great views. They rent paddle boats and kayaks, but they do have a boat launch for your boat. There's a game room with a ping pong table and corn hole and other games. We played a lot of ping pong. There's also a corn hole game out on the beach area. HEB down the street along with some eateries. 30 minutes to Padre Island and Padre National Park, 15 minutes to Mustang Island, 20-30 minutes to Corpus proper, the Lexington, and the Texas Aquarium. We went to them all. We'd definitely stay here and time it better, so were not here during spring break or when it's so windy.

It’s a very nice KOA! Weather was not very good! We were able to get a spot by the water but horribly windy! But for the most part very well centralized to attractions and so close to South Padre Island! Loved it!

If I had the time to stay longer and check out all the amenities I would probably be giving this koa a 5 star. Service and staff were phenomenal. Very clean. Excellent view. Perfect location

Super clean and well kept park! The team and cano host Ken were very helpful and courteous!

Location is great if you like ocean views and peace and quiet. But can be a little tricky to get to. Staff is super friendly and helpful and they do a great job keeping the place clean.

Site 60 is the best and we really enjoyed the people who work to keep this park beautiful. Great stay!

We didn't go, but my experience on the phone with them was great. Very helpful and informative.
