Corpus Christi: Municipal Court

They don’t allow you to pay over the phone because they have processing fees and service charges on their website. Typical abuse of power and squeezing you for all you have. Fined me an extra 200$ because they sent out a letter to me that I didn’t receive until 2 weeks later because I live in another state. Trash system for a trash city. How about using some of this money you’re stealing from us to clean up the crime in your districts. These people should be ashamed.

They don't call Corpus Christi; corrupted Christi for nothing. Nueces County Municipal Court does not care about helping anyone and only want to Nickle and dime everyone. The customer service is terrible then again everyone working for the government has bad attitudes and think they are better.

The absolute worst! I do not live in Corpus Christi. However, their system is completely off. They have no desire to work with any citizens. Their staff is also very unprofessional along with their customer service. San Antonio, Texas does everything in their power to help their community. They are far from that. Hopefully they’ll get some assistance or new hires to work with other on a professional level.

There's not much to rate that's good. Less than two stars overall, tells you all you need to know. I was advised by a court clerk I had 90 days to complete my driver safety course. Not the case! I was informed at court I missed that by 30 days. The judge even used a higliter to prove their point. Talk about degrading people. Seriously there's not much criminal element in court but they treat people like you just committed murder. It's all about the money and they are collecting Plenty in here! As citizens we should Demand to know how and where that revenue is being spent, because it's not fixing the potholes, nor is it being spent on educating officers in human behavior.

Most horrible agency I have ever experienced. No email replies (unless to ONLY give a balance due), NEVER been able to speak to a live person, leaving a message for callback several times when prompted. IF I could give a Negative 5 Stars I would!

I wonder if they’re hiring since there’s only ever 1 person attending people and no one to answer the phone. And if you try to pay a citation online your case won’t show up with any information.

HE WORKS 7AM-7PM 7 DAYS A WEEK AND IS UNABLE TO CALL THE MUNICIPAL COURT TO GET A SIMPLE ANSWER AS TO HOW TO GO ABOUT PAYING THE TICKET WHEN IT IS NOT YET ON THEIR WEBSITE AND THEY JUST TOLD ME THEY ARE BEHIND (THE 14 DAYS GRACE PERIOD TO PAY THE TICKET STARTS WHEN THE TICKET IS RECEIVED) BUT YOU ARE BEHIND AND UNABLE TO GIVE ME AN EXACT DATE OF WHEN THE CITATION WILL BE UP FOR US TO PAY? DO BETTER! I AM TRYING TO GET INFORMATION TO PAY MY HUSBAND'S TICKET NOT GET INFORMATION ON HIM, SERIOUSLY, COME ON YOU NEED HIS "AUTHORIZATION" TO GIVE ME DETAILS ON HOW HE CAN TAKE A DSC CLASS AND GO ABOUT PAYING THE TICKET?

With covid-19 on there is a line to get in your called one by one they screen you take your temperature make you sign a paper then you go through security and to talk to someone at takes a while sometimes

As a visitor to this city who was sent here to help hurricane victims, I DEFINITELY don't think they know what Southern hospitality is! As one reviewer stated, they are money-hungry leeches who care nothing about the human plight!

They are worse than most big cities that I've visited or lived in.

I let the phone ring for 5 minutes and nobody answers. Frustrating for me that I can't get an answer about a simple traffic ticket. I can imagine how frustrating it is for people with more serious cases.

Holy cow.it’s really sad when you live in a city that’s known for stupidity, but even more so when you call them the municipal courthouse and the person you talk to doesn’t even know how to have customer service, professionalism, know anything about the law, even if it’s common knowledge, who lies, and is extremely rude! This place would definitely be investigated, it is full of people who are completely on educated, unprofessional, and just a complete waste of time. I called them to ask a basic question, and she kept answering my question, but not my actual question.she kept answering to other things that I wasn’t even asking, like she was just making something up in her head, which is crazy. I tried talking to her in elementary terms to make it easier for her to understand me, but she still couldn’t grasp the concept of what I was telling her, which is something that even a small child could understand. It’s really mind-boggling. Of course I wanted to speak with her supervisor, but apparently her supervisor was in a meeting.sure. She also barely even spoke English. Will be contacting my attorney about this.

These people never answer the phones so unprofessional they need to update their employees

I cannot for the life of me, make these people happy. Every time I attempt to send in a form online, they kick it back saying I need something else which is completely contradictory to what I was told the time before. So now I have orders to appear on a date that I will be out of town. Guess who's gonna pay the $200 fine in addition to $114 for the driver safety course? Next time I go to Corpus I'm gonna drive 10 under just to annoy every single cop I see.

I live 2 and a half hours away so I requested a payment plan online I filled out the application emailed it to them. I was told I'd get a phone interview. Well I requested they setup a time to call me so I would make sure I was available to answer but they never responded to that email. Well they called one time didn't leave a voicemail or anything. I was working so I didn't they know called. Well 3 days later after they called in I received a letter in the mail stating i would have to appear in person because they made several attempts to call me and couldn't reach me. That's a lie they called one time only. And after their call. I called them several times everyday and I could never get them to answer my calls or return my voicemails. I have no way to get to corpus Christi.

HORRIBLE, RUDE EMPLOYEES, ESPECIALLY THE BLACK GUY WHO WAS DOING SECURITY. THEY SENT US ALL OVER THE PLACE, ALL TO PAY A TRAFFIC TICKET. HAD NO REGARD FOR MY 83 YEAR OLD FATHER WITH HEARING PROBLEMS. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY.
