Cortland Addison Circle

I have lived here 4 months now and the staff here is incredible! I had a difficult time with my movers and the men here stepped in and took over and helped move my couch in. And then tonight I was moving my couch back out (because the movers ruined it) and Paul stayed after hours and helped us move it downstairs. Very thankful for that! Whitney in the front is amazing as well, and they remember your name and everything is always taken care of so fast! Very happy so far with living here!

Update: still living here, not sure why I renewed my lease but here we are. Paul and Whitney are still amazing, but the quality of this apartment complex is NoT worth the money. When I moved in, it was clear that was construction in my building and they offered one month free. Amazing right? ! Well since then construction is worse than ever, dust everywhere, portable potties on the outside. I live in a construction zone and it’s terrible. Hardly any parking, the amenities are very unkept. Definitely not worth the $2200 I pay per month. Save your time and don’t move in to Cortland apartments, you are just part of the corporate gain.

I chose Cortland Addison Circle among the various other properties in the proximity in part because of the strength of its reviews. The staff is very professional and extremely helpful. The maintenance team is peerless: efficient, effective, and responsive. I saw a few places in Addison Circle with flashier amenities, but all Cortland community amenities are clean, in working order, nicely appointed, and overall meet the residents' needs better than other places I've lived. And the units themselves. I have no regrets about my choice.

We have lived at Courtland Addison Circle since Dec. 2022. I have found the on site staff to be extremely helpful, courteous, professional and friendly. They have gone above and beyond to make us feel that this is a " home" and not just an apartment. Hannah (front office) even happily participated in a treasure hunt I organized for my grandchildren! Amazingly, they even know the names of my dogs! In addition to this great staff, the maintenance team is truly exceptional. They are professionals who are quick to respond. (I think Paul can fix anything.and always with a smile.) This team can always be seen making sure that the landscaped areas around the complex are beautifully maintained.
These are teams I truly appreciate and respect.
Corporate should acknowledge what they do for Courtland Properties.

Cortland Addison circle is extremely disruptive to its residents. Very noisy construction that will wake you up at 7 am and constantly distract you if you work from home. Whatever vehicle they use beeps really loud all day long. Mind you, this has been going on for several months now. I’m so fed up with it! Avoid at all costs TOO LOUD!

From the initial tour, to the decision making process, and finally the move in date, Whitney has been wonderful to work with, and we are so thankful to call this place home. The rest of the Cortland staff have also been incredibly friendly, thorough, approachable, and helpful. They are responsive and take the time to listen and answer questions.

Whitney was so accommodating in even helping us move early Amazon packages into our unit before we even moved in.

The apartment itself has brand new laminate floors and everything runs smoothly. The surroundings and environment is what stood out the most compared to other nearby apartment complexes we checked out. There are quiet and shaded streets, and it feels safe to walk around.

I highly recommend cortland addison circle!

Paul and Christian were amazing in helping me get my power back last week. I lost power close to the end of the day and they were quick to help. They stayed until the job was done and are always so kind. I always appreciate how helpful Paul has been during my boyfriend and I renting at Cortland Addison Cir.

We are moving into this building shortly. We dealt with Whitney Malory, who was exceptional. We initially met in late January, and she kept following up until we were ready to move. During the application process she was responded fairly promptly and answered all our questions. We were really impressed with her customer service.

Paul was super quick to come and fix my AC. He was professional, quick, and kind! He also made sure everything was working before he left!

The staff has preference to other tenants. They will choose favorites and not help tenants they are not friends with. The apartments are noisy too.

We lived here for almost three years and absolutely loved it! Management was wonderful, especially Hannah and Whitney. They also have the best maintenance staff HANDS DOWN. They respond quickly, are super kind, and clean up after themselves. We had a very positive experience there!

Alejandra (in housekeeping services) attention to detail and professionalism were outstanding. She is pleasant and hassle-free. Thank you, Alejandra, for your excellent work!

I’m writing this review to applaud PAUL from the engineering crew. He continues to go above and beyond while always being pleasant and wearing a smile, that brightens my day.
I wish I could give a higher rating for the property overall. However, I’ve been living on this property for many years and the rent continues go up while the maintenance of the building goes down (not blaming the crew-they can only do so much with the resources that they are given).
Addison the neighborhood is an excellent place to live but it is obvious that cortland has no intention of updating the necessary infrastructures to build community/ residential moral and compete with newer apartments with comparable pricing.
There seems to be several electrical issues; along with safety issues- doors not properly locking after entry; elevator issues- sometimes they work and everyday the elevators are loud and slow (even the delivery people have complained about the elevator’s delay)

In conclusion- thank you PAUL and all the employees who work hard despite everything that the property is lacking due to age and neglect.

The apartment complex is spectacular very open and lively. Hannah and Whitney were very welcoming and accommodating. Excellent in providing the details about the complex. Thank you so much!
