Cortland is the Chick Fil A of apartments. I love it! Received great customer service from Anthony & the community manager Priscilla! I definitely recommend living here!:)

I have to let everyone know what a rockstar team this community has. I had to move recently due to unforeseen circumstances and from the moment I walked through the door to my move in date they've been amazing and maintained communication every step of the way. Rondy, Priscilla, Anthony and Ansley, I appreciate all you do for our community and how much you care for your residents. I get a wave and a smile from every service team member every time I drive out of the parking garage. I haven't had any service requests completed because my home was perfect at move in, but I'm sure they'll be completed in a timely manner. Thank you Cortland Oak Lawn team!

My goodness. The walls are insanely thin here. My last place, you couldn’t hear ANYONE for a year. Not once. And my neighbors had parties plenty of times. This place.you can hear the neighbors TV at a low volume. You’ll be on a middle floor but when planes fly nearby, they sound like they’re going over your open ceiling. Super poorly insulated. If you value your own privacy and don’t want to annoy your neighbors with occasional movies or social gatherings, definitely avoid this poorly built property. It looks nice but it’s all looks and no.walls.

I went in to view some two bedrooms as I'm the process of selling my home and I was so impressed with the community and Rondy made me feel right at home! He was so personable and made my decision a no brainer! I will definitely be making Oak Lawn my new home!

Great management and great customer service. They solve every issue immediately and sometimes proactively. Only difficulty is that the rent payment process is very confusing and hard to manage from the portal.

Very pleased with how this property is taken care of and the staff that were always very helpful. Maintenance did an amazing job with whatever I needed help with. If it wasn’t meant for me needing much more space I would’ve renewed. I highly suggest Cortland Oaklawn as a premier place to make your next home!

I have been here since August 2019. I have absolutely no complaints at all. I love my apartment. The office staff are always very friendly and professional. Would recommend these apartments to everyone. Looking forward to a long stay here

At the beginning, there were some promises made to me that weren't upheld, but the management staff has tried very hard to make things right. This is a fantastic facility that offers things that a lot of other complexes cannot. Ansley in the front office has been incredibly helpful! I most definitely recommend this apartment complex to anyone that I know.

The BEST office staff ever. I am a very picky person when it comes to customer service, cleanliness, etc.and they are all top notch here. The manager Kelly is great. The whole office is always very helpful with any request I have ever asked for. Sergio is so helpful with all service requests and is willing to help me with anything I ask for. He even helped me mount my TV on the wall which was a huge task and saved me money and having to have someone I didn't know come into my apartment. They are all a really a great staff! Thank you guys for everything, I really appreciate you ;)

Excellent and responsive staff: immediately after alerting Cortland Oak Lawn personnel that my house keys dropped into a large storm drain grate in the garage, they dropped everything and came to my aid. The grate over the drain was not removable, so within seconds they brainstormed a 6 foot hooked fishing line out of wire from the trash and like surgeons they slowly pulled the keys up and through the grate. All the stars aligned for me because of this remarkable group of qualified staff! Well done. #grateful

Both the leasing staff and the maintenance crew have been amazing since I have moved in! They have truly made my apartment living great and are always so quick to help me out. I am greeted with smiles by everyone and you can tell they honestly care. I definitely recommend living here to everyone:)

This place is so nice to live in. It's always so clean and they offer 24hr emergency technician. The staff is friendly, especially Miguel. He is very nice and friendly. He is always so happy and joyful doing his job to make sure our apartments are to perfection and gets the job done right away. He is always going out of his way and making sure our stay here is plesant everyday. I also enjoy the pool area and BBQ area. Its always clean and everyone enjoys spending time there. Thank you for your service will definitely recomend to friends

I lived in many apartments all across the country and I have to say this place is among the best. Savannah, Rondi, and the entire staff has been really gracious and helpful. Service requests are usually taken care of same day. The staff puts on events throughout the year. The location is amazing and neighborhood is safe. I highly recommend Cortland Oak Lawn. It really feels like home in the center of a big city.

I've stayed here for 2 years now and never had any issues. The property is as good as promoted. The facilities are great, the staff is really friendly and the maintenance is top notch. They host various events and functions to bring the community together

The location is great too with all sorts of stores and attractions near by.

I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone in the DFW area! Not only are the amenities amazing, but the team in the office here is by far the BEST group of people I've ever dealt with in any apartment I've ever lived in. Ansley, Rondy and Savannah are amazing assets to this company/community and they are so kind and super helpful whenever I've needed anything/had any questions. I have lived at the Cortland Oak Lawn (formerly Avenue on Fairmount, Alexan) since the building opened in 2015. This is by far the best apartment community I’ve ever lived in.

After bouncing around between apartments year after year, looking for the “next best thing”, I finally found one that feels like home! I’ll be here until I buy my own home.

From the management to the location, and the amenities to the value, this is where you want to live!

Management: The friendliest and most helpful staff I’ve ever worked with! Any time I have a question or need something, whether it’s popping by the office, sending an email or DM through the resident ap, they respond quickly (less than day, always) and have me taken care of. They know me by name, say hi when we pass each other on property and always ask how I am or follow-up on something we’ve talked about. Maintenance requests can be done via the resident ap at any time of day and mine are always completed in under a day. Super friendly and FAST!

Amenities: It’s beautiful here! My friends always ask if I live at a resort! The pool area is top notch! Gorgeous courtyard with cabanas, an outdoor kitchen with grills and fire pit, plus two other courtyards. The pool is usually calm during the week and more lively on the weekends, so whatever your vibe is, you’ll find it here. The gym is huge with professional-grade equipment, open 24/7. I go there for the quality and convenience more than I go to my membership gym. No waiting for machines, ever. Free Tanning is nice perk too (especially in the winter).

Property: The property is always impeccable, from the grounds, public spaces, garage, etc. There are way more spaces for cars than there are residents in the garage. You’ll never have to worry about finding street parking - not even for your guests! The units themselves are more spacious than the comparables in the neighborhood (I’ve checked). High ceilings, many have outdoor space (balcony or patio), hardwood floors, lots of cabinet space, stone countertops, stainless appliances, walk-in closets. Some floor plans have bonuses like built-in Sonos Speakers & double vanities in the bathroom. The price is good for everything you get plus location (I’ve checked).

Other: The package room is secure and 24H access. You get a text and email with an access code every time you get a package and can grab it at your convenience. You can have your dry cleaning or groceries delivered to the office (they even offer to bring them up to your apartment for you). More of a niche need, but if you host meetings or parties, the club room is huge, very nice, and way less than the cost of renting a meeting room at a hotel. There’s a 24H Access working space with free printing, free WiFi and both MAC and PC computers for use too.

I could go on and on, but to sum things up, YOU WANT TO LIVE HERE!
