Bar Cosmic Saltillo reviews
18Cosmic did a great job with the second location. The building is very unique and the space is very well done a good mix of industrial but still feels welcoming. You have a great view of the city from the roof. All the same great drinks you can get at the original location. Tacos are served and ordered inside a separate space within the location.
The vibes here are so wonderful! There's something for everyone: tacos, delicious and creative coffee and cocktails. There were lots of kids and dogs when I went on a Sunday afternoon, as well as a cadre of people working on computers. When I mistakenly ordered a non-alcoholic canned IPA, the bartender was even nice enough to get me a different beer. I'll be coming back and bringing friends—I didn't even get to explore the entire space, and I was here for hours!
Great tacos and drinks. Outdoor setup was fun and more socially oriented than a typical restaurant. The design and decor make for a desirable and fun atmosphere.
Went here on a Sunday and spent 3 hours just playing Monopoly Deal and drinking their specialty frozen boozy coffee and mangonada. The person bussing the tables gave my pup her first pup cup! Everyone is super friendly. Their tacos are also delicious. I got the Al pastor and arrachera steak.
The co-working vibes here are immaculate. This might change with the weather given it’s mostly outdoor, but on mild days it’s great. The music is a bit loud so don’t expect to be taking any calls, but overall a great space to sit and get in the zone … and then have a beer when you * slams laptop shut ‘til Monday *
New go to joint on the east side. What a great atmosphere. Clear the owners/managers went the extra mile thinking out the concept and space. Has picnic table communal space, picnic hideaway area and rooftop space.
Easy to read food menu with reasonable prices and drinks left no guessing games. Beers sorted by style, clearly priced with abv.
Got the street corn (excellent) chicken dippers (meh) and chips/salsa (very nice)
Looking forward to trip #2.
Ok, I guess. It’s clean. Vibe is horribly yuppy-ish. Not a local in sight. There was insanely loud club music everywhere.
People who are actually from here should avoid. Not our scene! At least this location. Not sure about the other one. Maybe it’s fine.
This is my new favorite neighborhood Cafe and bar. Just got a pumpkin spice latte. Friendly service, comfortable seating inside and beautiful garden seating outside. Open at 8am
So glad Cosmic moved south. This spot can get crowded, but never feels packed. Great coffee & drinks selection. (Admittedly the food is just alright, but I'll give it another try at some point).
First time today and I really enjoyed it. Great drink, friendly staff and comfy seats inside. Looking forward to coming back!
Such a lovely place, beautifully landscaped with good coffee and delicious tacos. It would be so great to sit in this atmosphere without music so loud it's hard to have a conversation. Let us enjoy the sound of the water feature. At least turn it down before 6pm.
Great spot to come on a Sunday for coffee and a bite (Tacos). But kind of a rip off when it comes to value. I’m totally fine with pay $6-7 for a cold brew but not when the entire cup is all ice with a tiny drop of cold brew. Their non-alcoholic drinks are also the same price as their alcoholic counterparts. Not worth the money to come here.
Definitely the cosmic vibe - but in a smaller package. Enough space to work during the day, but now dropped in the middle of the east side to fuel up with a boozy coffee drink on those long Saturdays exploring Austin. Really wonderful space that's family and pup friendly.
Amazing espresso & delicious tacos. Vibe 5/5. There was a slight mix up with my tab & the manager was SO understanding, helpful & resolved the issue ASAP. I really appreciated the customer service! I will definitely be back.
Drinks are probably more expensive than theyre worth. Food is good but portions are small. Bartenders cant or wont multitask and even get rude when questions are asked (could be simple racism tbh). Lines at a bar are always a bad sign imo.honestly not sure how there can be so kich staff but little work done? No outlets for laptops. 6/10 beautiful gowns.
A happening place to meet friends on a Saturday morning, food is scrumptious, staff, polite and friendly. Close to the heart of Austin. Enjoy
Such a cute spot when the weather is good. If you need a little pick me up, make sure you get the Freezee Boozy Coffee.amazing.and strong!
The food is so-so. But it is convenient to have some tacos nearby like that
Mediocre coffee, standard brews, usual suspects of tacos, the design and scope of the venue makes for a cool work/chill spot. Lovely people watching and quaint pockets of sitting for groups and outdoor platform for solo ops.
