Costco Wholesale reviews
22Mary Anne just set us up for our first card. She was an absolute delight. Can't wait to spend all our money here.
If they don’t know just said so. How come you can hire people with the high salaries and not teaching them how to do customer service and waisting my time for the products which never exist.
I hate giving a bad review because we used to really love Costco. But our shopping experiences have gone from bad to worse. We began our visit with a "return of merchandise". The line was long because they only had one person working returns. At one point the young man doing our return stopped to run over and tell an elderly woman she could not eat her hot dog on the way out of Costco. Good grief! We finally did our shopping only to wait in another long line to check out. Sadly, we decided to pick up some pizza to take home. We placed our order at the mandatory kiosk and paid. The food clerk then told us they had no more cheese pizza and that she would have to refund us. We had to wait though because there were only two people working. It was chaos! Some people were standing there with partial food orders waiting for the rest of the food. The return boy once again came over and told people to stop eating. Costco you can do better.
Great produce and meat selections. The muffins are awesome. They have self checkout here which makes going in for just a few items. The workers are all very nice and friendly.
Costco is awesome! One of my favorite stores to just wander around in. They have lots of awesome things a great prices. They have electronics, clothes, toys, good food and a place to sit and eat a decent hot dog at the end. This is like an adult playground that can get expensive very quickly.
I love going to Costco, my only issue is I don't think I've ever left having spent under $100 hahaha! Their customer service is always amazing. I usually go to the Cedar Park store but they were out of my current favourite addiction and I was told that the Austin location had it so off we went.spent far too much, but it's Christmas! ;)
Convenient if you are in Great Hills area.nice
store.crowded parking lot.sometimes a
wait to get gas and to get out of parking lot
onto frontage road but nothing to really complain
about.
Item prices vary significantly over a week. Sometimes they have good collection of clothing. There is only one Costco for a big city like Austin. Too far to go. Would be better if there are more of them.
This insanely busy Costco in the insanely busy city of Austin, Texas managed to feature two key features that my regular one in Lehi, Utah lacks. The GF Sabatasso frozen pizzas and a liquor store. Plus the price on low sodium Kikkoman soy sauce was awesome. It would be great if they all had this store's selection.
I've been shopping at Costco for I don't even know how long. There are so many enjoyable things about it. I stop by every couple of weeks to eat. The food is cheap, but good. Foot-long hot dog with sauerkraut and a drink with free refills is just $1.50 plus tax. You can add relish and deli mustard to taste. I usually sprinkle some diced onions on top. A large slice of combo pizza, which has beef, onions, and green peppers, is just $1.99 plus tax. A bowl of chili with cheddar $3.99. The large chicken Caesar salad $3.99. It comes with ranch dressing on the side. An 18-inch piece of churros made right there behind the counter is just a dollar. Before you leave, you can get air for your tires with their digital pressure gauge. Today, I went to Costco because I needed a new glasses case. They gave me one for free. Service is always friendly and efficient.
Mom and I used to go to Costco in Houston regularly. It was one of our regular outings that we enjoyed together for years.
It's a big shop with kind of food items in bulk quantities, household electronics, toys, bakery items, liquor items, pharmacy, etc.
What bad things can you say about Costco? Well, this location does tend to get really crowded. To beat the crowds, arrive when it opens. Other than that, this place is great! Well worth the membership fee.
Great store. Islands could use signs to help customers find products faster than wandering all over and asking ignorant staff to locate items.
The staff is always nice, but when this place is busy, I get anxious because of all the people trying (and often failing) to wrangle their overloaded and oversized shopping carts. Avoid the weekends.
I believe in the Costco philosophy and appreciate the way they handle their business. The employees seem happy and are friendly. Whenever I have had questions, they are very helpful. They carry a large selection of organic products and provide a large variety of goods. I have a small house, so I can't always buy in bulk, but I like their store, so I continue to be a member. I make a choice to support thoughtful businesses!
Great store don't mind it being member's only. Can always find great deals. Little but of everything. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful
They have an exclusivity agreement with Visa, so don’t expect to be able to buy anything on credit with a MasterCard. Only debit is acceptable with anything other than Visa. I left my Visa at home and now having to run back to get my basket.
Also, they don’t except American Express at all.
Just thought I’d share to hopefully prevent anyone else from experiencing the embarrassment; of wasting time shopping there, waiting in long lines, just to not bring home their items due to payment ignorance.
Bottom line:
Bring a Visa or Debit Card
Been here for years and just getting worse and worse by day. Uncooked rotisserie chicken. When you ask for employee for help, they will walk you around store and don't even known where their stuff locate. When I called in to order pizza, they said ready in 30min. You show up 35min later and they said 10 to 15 more minutes.
To be a member at costco, pay back, there is a lot of different type of merchandise a good price. And the food court offers you variety of foods and reasonable price, this is my favorite place, because of the pizza
Continues to rock - for service, quality, variety and price. Crowding is an issue, especially on weekends. Guess that's because a lot of people want to be in on good deals!
