Costco Wholesale reviews
20Cody working the front door is very rude and dismissive. Not the best representation for Costco when the person working your front door treats people this way. I didn’t give you a reason to act that way Cody. Try to be a bit more respectful next time especially when the person your speaking too only came to provide treats for the staff. I was being kind to you and in return you dismissed me and kept coming at me in that condescending tone of yours. When I told you that you were being rude. Your response to this was to antagonize me and ask me over and over to explain why I felt you were rude. You work in customer service I don’t have to answer to you. Just fix your attitude and apologize. But instead you continued to act the same way until I requested to speak with upper management. Do better. Your job is too easy to be acting that way.
This place was never that great and has gotten progressively worse over the last 2 years I will never have another Costco membership or spend my mo yes here sams is only 5 miles away and is a cleaner more organized store with better prices and friendlier staff
We have been Costco loyal customer for more than 8 years and had never had issue when I come and pay with my wife and when my wife’s name is in our membership. If that’s the Costco policy there could be a nicer way to explain us if we’re not aware.
Cashier Wenndy and her supervisor Grace were very rude and took away our cart with rest of the groceries even though we had already informed Wenndy with two transactions that my wife wanted to pay when her name is in the membership. It’s crazy that now husband and wife cannot use their card to pay in Costco. Ridiculous system!
Yesterday I went to Costco, my credit card was declined bc it had expired! I was so embarrassed. The cashier was so nice and just helped me go to another register to pay cash. Then I got to my car and locked my keys in the car! But Costco had just closed. One of the employees, I wish I'd gotten his name, but he waited in the parking lot with me for almost 2 hours till someone could get there to help me! I am so so grateful! He asked if I needed a jacket and made sure I was safe. Definitely above an beyond! Thank you so so much!
Easily the gold standard of warehouse retail shopping. Costcos is to warehouse shopping like Target is to WalMart; it’s the better experience.
The customer service is not great. There is hardly anyone near the jewelry section and when there is they completely ignore and avoid you and help other Costco employees put on jewelry.
I love shopping at Costco, we love all the different varieties of items that we can conveniently get here.
Employees never say excuse me when they cut in front of you. Not friendly at this location
Megan in the pharmacy could benefit greatly from a lesson in hospitality. Whilst conferring with another Costco member and noticing that my partner had started a new “line” without us even realizing there was a separate line on the next isle she could have easily taken a moment to let us know of the situation instead of, in my opinion, waiting until it was our turn and then rudely inform us. Speaking to members condescendingly, will never get you anywhere in life.
Mario the cashier is horrible customer service and attitude and mode to put my items in the basket.
Had plenty of items in The store but when you got ready to check out the lines were long because of the holiday, but they should have been better organized.
As a first time shopper here, i was lost inside this big shopping store. Shoppers were crisscrosing each other and almost bumping one another.
I spent and wasted most of my shopping time just trying to look where everything is at, going back and fort. I could not find a directory and sales person nowhere to be found.
I tried to go and ask the person checking the receipts at the exit door but coming from the frozen meat place at the back, i could not see myself navigating through the aisle filled with people. I asked a shopper next to me where a certain dog food was located, and she just shrugged her shoulders.
I just left and maybe i will have better luck next time or at another store. Maybe i will not be back.
I wish Costco had implemented some type of Ai application on the shopper's phone that can be activated as the customer comes in. That way it would be easy to find where everything is at, complete with description of the item and price.
The fire Marshall needs to check on this place. It is literally so packed, you can't get through the aisles. The checkout lines are backed up into the store by 100 feet and the rest of the store is completely clogged up. This poorold lady waited in line for the self checkout, after she made it to the front, the employee told her to go to the employee checkout line because she had too many items. She had maybe 20 large items. This was after she waited through the 100 foot self checkout line! She had to make her way back to the end of another 100 foot line. She looked. The guy was yelling like a TSA agent. Chaos and rudeness runs this place.
Thanksgiving week Monday. WOW
Saw people taking out full pallets pecan and apple pies. Hoping it was to serve the less fortunate. Out of Fairlife protein again, but they had Skinny Pop!
It is annoying to have my costco card and picture checked when I am checking out at the self checkout. Today was worse. They insisted on using the scanner on my items in my basket at the SELF CHECKOUT so they could check me out! It is the flipping SELF CHECKOUT LINE! ! I said I did not need help twice and was handed the scanner then heard the lady say I was holding up the line. Seriously? There were empty registers. I am in self check out for a reason, leave me alone. If I want to be checked out I will get in line at the regular checkouts. They really get on my nerves especially at the Tehama Ridge area. The micro managing is ridiculous! I went to SAMs club with a friend and they did not hassle her or bother her at all.
An employee who was boxing items at the end of the checkout line today started complaining about people on welfare while doing her job. The store could do with some training, at the very least, about professionalism. I’m appalled that she felt comfortable enough to do this.
It's insane how busy this place is any time any day you go, it's just crazy busy. I really don't know why. I think their prices are a bit high and their selections are limited even though they are a huge store.
The only drawback is the handicap scooter, we had to at least 30 minutes or more to get one
Their new id policies suck. Cancelling my membership because my teen who lives with me cannot make a purchase for me. We live in the same house! Should not be expected for each person to have to have their own membership
Love Costco but the way they make the customers feel has gone from bad to worse. Now you have an employee doing all the self checkout for
You, and I’m sure this is an anti theft measure but they have high paid execs who can figure out a better solution than making me feel like a criminal.
