Great Service and friendly employees. They are practicing all covid 19 regulations and are cleaning and sanitizing the restaurant as required.
Food was very good and the prices are very reasonable. Convenient location to stop right off I 45.

I am definitely done going to the Cotton Patch in Ennis. The first time we took our daughter (18 years old) we all were severed our food but her. After complaining about how long the grilled cheese sandwich was taking they realized it was never cooked. By the time she got her meal everyone else was done eating and literally seemed like they took 2 pieces of bread, toasted them and stuck some cheese on. Unacceptable. After going again last night, we will not return. Both the CHEESEburgers that were ordered were served without cheese. My daughter ordered her cheeseburger also with grilled onions. Served with no cheese and no grilled onions. After I said something, the server looked into things and after about 10 minutes returned with 2 slices of American cheese for us to put on the burgers. Seriously? Still no grilled onions. The manager came over like nothing was wrong. Asking if all was ok. When I again explained that we were not happy. He did remove the two meals from the bill and informed us that he would happily personally cook our meal next time. Really? No thanks. We will not be returning. It's the same apology each time. "We will make it right next time". No thanks Cotton Patch. We should be happy everytime. Seriously you all have something against my daughter who clearly never wants to return.

Food very salty. The past two times i ate there it was bad. My friend wanted to go yesterday so i thought i would try again. If you are on a low sodium diet, i really don't recommend eating there.

Those rolls! Oh my.how great are those rolls? ! I had a ribeye, shrimp, broccoli and a ceasar salad. All the food was well prepared. We also had the fried bacon appetizer. Also tasty.

Ordered Shiner Basket.the batter was soggy.my friends onion rings and steak fingers were not crispy either.took a bit to get our food. The waitress was nice.

This is a beautiful classic hotel. It was built in a time when hotels, not motels were designed with luxury, comfort, service and graciousness were embodied in the property. The Warwick Melrose has been restored and remains a special destination in Dallas. The lobby is elegant, the clubby Library bar which has evening entertainment is terrific, the restaurant is equally special.

Loved the food. Very 1st time for being there. Loved the Fried Green Tomatoes 1st for those as well. Very tangy and tasty, deep fried huge onion rings, and deep fried Mushrooms. Then my meal oh my I had the Chicken fried chicken meal it was s tender that I could cut it with my fork and didn't need a knife at all for my meal. I WILL BE BACK.

Excellent food. Had the steak and shrimp with broccoli. Everything was amazing and the price was great. Need a location near me.

Everything was wrong the night we went. Drinks came to the table that had obviously been sitting for some time by the melted ice, watered down look of them, food came out room temperature and some items ordered didn't even make it to our table. Service was slow, overall not a good experience. After asking, we did receive money back for food that was never received.

We live just south of Corsicana and drive to Ennis because the service is so good. Friendly waitstaff, food always hot and good value for your money. We make the extra trip to Ennis for this reason because the Corsicana branch people had gotten rude, you wait 10 to 20 minutes to be sitted then you wait another 10 minutes to be spoken to or get water and then maybe you can place your order. That branch has gone down hill, that's why we keep coming back to the Ennis branch because they are friendly and acknowledge you sitting there to be served! Thumbs up! Sharon Ochoa

Food was delicious and the lady behind the bar that was itching the drinks was very helpful she kept asking to see if everything's okay and if anything we needed it was a very enjoyable experience thank you bye

Well we can’t eat at cotton patch anymore. Mike and I went to lunch there today and they brought out a basket of rolls and cornbread. We were talking and did not pay attention but a couple of minutes went by and all of the sudden a roach comes across the table through the basket and back again. It just sat there like we were at it’s table, so I got up called the waitress over and showed her, she walked away laughing and told another waitress laughing the whole time. Then our waitress came over there and squished it on the table and walked away like this is a normal thing. I was pissed the manager comes over I’m so sorry please let me buy you lunch. Nope not eating here and I am reporting you to the health department. Unbelievable the response from the staff. It was not a big deal and to act as if its an everyday thing.

Great food. This chain is a pleasant surprise. What should you order? Chicken fried steak. The service is great. This place is surprisingly good.

This was my first visit in months after a terrible take out experience. (An email to corporate about the take out failure was not returned.)

I ordered the grilled pork chops with a side of squash casserole and green beans.

The chops were almost too salty to eat. The squash was more like mush, and not much casserole. The green beans were excellent.

The service was fine.

They start their closing duties about two hours before they close and the service goes way down. Great food and staff for lunch but I would stay away if I was arriving within 2 hours of their listed closing

On Sunday, 6 of us ordered our meals 40 minutes later, I ask our waiter about our food, waiter had not placed the order! Wow

We have been here several times and every time it takes an hour for our food, we dont mind except the last time our food was undercooked and lukewarm. We wont be back for awhile

Wonderful delicious food and really kind and friendly staff. Nothing wrong with this place that I can find. Definitely recommend to people.
