Cotton Patch Cafe reviews
15I’ve been eating here for many years here lately the food has been just horrible I really hate going elsewhere just can’t keep up with this my last meal was just horrible
I had the beer battered fish and it was hot and crispy. My salad was fresh. My broccoli rice casserole was good and hot. Food was very good.
Hi Bixby the cotton patch on veters day and I wanna thank them for allowing me to have a free meal for Veterans Day. It was very delicious and good the gravy was excellent. I had never ate gravy like that before I really enjoyed it. Thank you cotton patch for what you've done for me.
Me and my family were going about once a week until we went and and no one would seat us and there were only about five tables already there. Then we had a appetizer ordered and our main meal came out before that. We had to ask for drinks it was a mess. It took 50 minutes to get out meal
I am going to give them another try before I fully decide, and will update but this trip did not go great. Our waitress and the staff were wonderful expect they didnt make our food because no one checked the printer for the cooks, so we waited awhile.food was okay, love their ranch, but they were out of sweet pototoe fries I ordered as well. The ppl behide us came, ate, and left before we even got out food.
THE MANAGER DERICK WAS SO HELPFULL TO ME IN ORDERING OUR THANKSGIVING MEAL WE WILL DIFFENTLY BE ORDERING OUR CHRISTMAS MEAL AS WELL.
Food and service were great. We love the $10 menu items. The current economy makes us look for good food at great prices, Cotton Patch covers it all!
This experience was such a disappointment. I ordered the chicken fried chicken, loaded baked potato, southern green beans, and fried okra. The food lacks flavor. It was greasy. My CFC was super oily. The employees working there need training. I asked for my order and the person didn't know what to do. I ordered my food online. The order would be ready in 15 min. I got there, and it still wasn't ready. I still had to wait 10 more minutes. Why have an online order ahead option if you can't have it ready upon arrival. It wasn't busy only 1 other customer. It's overpriced. It isn't worth the time or money. The inside had buckets and looked dirty, just not the cotton patch experiences I've had in the past. I've been to Cotton Patch in Temple, TX, and was the reason for giving Denison location a chance.
Yummy! Had the chicken fried steak, Jr, garlic mashed potatoes and fried okra with iced tea. Everything was very tasty, the staff was super friendly and the service was quick. Would definitely go back!
They were out of about half of the menu.staff was friendly but that doesn't help when every time you ask for something you're told they are out. After attempting to order three different things and being told they were out of half the menu I ordered a cheeseburger with fries, because if they didn't have that, we would have gone next door. Burger was mediocre.
Food was great and our server Bobby was excellent. However, the ladies bathroom as I entered SMELLED horrible. It was very dirty. The toilet bowl inside and out had not been cleaned in months, I'm sure. The floors needed to be scrubed down including corners. If your kitchen is anything like the bathroom I will not be back
This is a hit n miss on quaility of food and service. The atmosphere is spacious and cold.
The food took over an hour to get to us and when it finally did, it was cold. Not the best experience.
Not good at all. Service was extremely slow. When mine came the country fried steak was pink on the inside. I know Cotton Patch is better than this.
Food is always good and fresh.
Service needs work. We were quickly seated but it took a while for the server to acknowledge us. We were ready to give our order with our drink order, but he turned too quickly to check on a table that arrived after us.
When they returned with our drinks, we advised we were ready to order, which he took, but didn't verify. After 25-30 minutes passed, our food finally arrived, but my partner's order was incorrect. It would have taken too long to fix, so he left it. We had to get back to work.
The place was not overly busy for lunch, so why were they slow, we couldn't tell.
On a later visit, same basic issues, but now charged us too much. They said it was because we ordered a premium side, but fixed the bill. The manager came by and asked how we were and I told him about the bill. Later, my adult son told me that the manager treated me like an afterthought.
