Cottonwood General Store, Terlingua TX

Was told that the store had a little bit of everything. Me and the wife stopped here one evening and were pleasantly surprised that they in fact did have a little bit of everything. Store was very nice and well kept.

Tiny but with amazing assortment of items. Where else can you find everything from Spam to Wasabi? Also, water, propane, camping gear, some hardware materials. It's really the only "grocery store" down here

This amazing little store is like a miniature walmart. They have about everything you might need. At a reasonable price.

Restocked here while out on our 2 week trip. Nice staff, good selection for the region. You would have to drive quite a ways to find anything close to this place.

This small store has just about everything you need. We stopped in Alpine to stock up for our trip to the Big Bend. No need, we could have stocked up at the Cotton Wood General store. They had everything. I even saw wrench set in case you need some tools.

Wonderful shopping outpost for your Terlinga shopping needs. If they dont have it, check the hardware store north of town.great place, family owned - fresh produce, meat and other essentials.

It's always a blessing being able to drive near by, to get the necessities we need to survive and thrive down here in this beautiful majestic place we call Terlingua, without having to drive over 90 miles to Alpine or 65 to Presidio to get groceries. With that being said, the convenience comes with a price tagg, so don't be mad or surprised when you pay for things many times over that you would pay for in the city, so if that a problem for people make yourself a favor and save money by buying your stuff before you get down here, and or don't complain about the Prices your paying.

This is Terilingua ‘s version of Walmart it has everything you need EVERYTHING! Cute store. Neat inside super friendly workers. I love this place makes visiting Terilingua special

Gotta love this place, whenever I need something out at the property I already know they'll have it at the cottonwood. Employees are always friendly and willing to help with whatever your looking for.

You are out here in middle of a beautiful park and find a general store with a little of everything! Food, supplies, firewood, ice.wine! And some wine glasses… great find!

The store has a really great selection of dry goods s well as refrigerated and frozen. We found everything we needed for the week and more!

So this place has just everything you need for camping - tents, chairs, grill, coal - you name it. I was surprised to find even some Indian snacks here.

One stop shop for all your basic needs. Fresh fruit. Wine. General store items. Nicely stocked and staff was nice and welcoming!

Great! Has everything you need. Amazing selection so far out in the desert. Very clean bathrooms. Nice staff. Fresh veggies, meat, milk, cheese, eggs, wine, and all the dry goods and pantry items you could need. Protein bars, water, charcoal and firewood, hiking and camping supplies, medications and first aid, even bakery items and some grab-and-go sandwiches and salads over in the produce area. Awesome little grocery.

Went there in the morning on the way into Big Bend National Park. Picked up snacks and drinks from their large and varied selection of organic and vegetarian friendly foods. Came back to grab a quick bite for dinner and Joan showed us where we could find vegetarian frozen but healthy meal options and kindly allowed us to use their microwave. We ate outside at the edge of the parking lot before heading down to the town for the night. While this place may be a bit more expensive than larger cities, they are quite out of the way and despite that they cater to various tastes, have a wide selection of foods, drinks, fresh produce, frozen foods, medical supplies, etc. A very well thought out selection from the owner or buyer. Put out a few tables and umbrellas and folks driving the large distances will be quite thrilled to rest and snack/eat. Kudos to Joan for being super polite and helpful with all the requests

A little bit of everything! This store has almost everything a regular grocery store has, plus camping goods. If they don't carry it, just ask and they will get it for you. Even has a great selection of natural/organic options.

Shelves stocked with every imaginable need, variety, and then some. All the basic food groups are covered including fresh produce to ice cream. Camping supplies available for that forgotten item, but please remember they are the supply for the hundreds of residents who live and work in the area. Get your specialty items and gas in one of the towns a hundred miles away on your route to The Big Bend. Always important to know, super clean modern bathrooms!

Great place to find anything you need, from ice, fresh fruits and vegetables, home essentials, meat, snacks, drinks. Very friendly staff.

Great little spot in Terlingua. Unbelievably vast selection for how remote this town is. Even has plenty food options for vegetarians and vegans.
