If you want a bad stay - choose Marriott. The room and hallways reek of cigarette smoke, the room was not clean, the bathroom had used tissues thrown on the floor and the bed was left unmade. Housekeeping is non-existent and customer service is a foreign concept. On night 2 of a 4 night stay and I'll most likely be checking out in the morning and finding somewhere else.

The rooms smell like dust and are extremely humid. Infested with bugs and dare you ask for a solution.

Horrible Experience.

1. I was overcharged for my stay. Booked 4 rooms, and my card was charged for 5 plus the authorization hold.

2.) We had a Late check-in and within an hour, we noticed ants crawling up and down the walls near the desk in our room. We then contacted the front desk and they advised that the property was full for the night, but they would look for bug spray and get back with us. We never heard back until few hours later saying they could not locate the spray. We then get contacted about noise complaints. We were accused of making noise which was actually being caused by a large youth team staying onsite the same night. Matthew, the night attendant was very rude to us and even got aggressive with one of my children by attempting to push the door open on her to scold about noise. I tried contacting management first thing Monday to get this resolved but instead, I was responded to in a very sarcastic email disregarding my experience. I believe Matthew was racist and that we were being discriminated against. He even called the Denton police on us (for no apparent reason). They arrived and did not even bother to investigate anything as there was nothing to investigate after hearing our side of the story. If we were so LOUD AND IRATE, why were we not asked to leave? You knocked on our door twice late at night to scold us for noises that were caused by another group. You chose to ignore that group but approach a room with only females, black females and black children. It is a shame to be writing a review about this, but it needs to be shared.

The location was pretty good. There's a Buc-ees right across the highway so you're covered! The staff was great and the cleaning was excellent. The room was nice, but the TV was awkwardly placed. It pulled out a bit but was hard to see from the bed. No big deal. Breakfast was pretty mediocre for the price I'd recommend going elsewhere. I'd be happy to return.

Am I the only one commenting on the homeless people camping out in the lobby area? Police in the parking lot at 3: 30AM chirping the siren and lights flashing. Front desk was polite though.

This hotel is poorly managed. The treatment we received from their staff, more specifically MATTHEW, was hair-raising and offensive! We were falsely accused of making loud noises but there was an entire sports team in the hallway doing drills, running, & playing prior to us getting settled in. The adults who were chaperoning KNEW it was them but was never addressed or held accountable. Let’s take a wild guess on why we were blamed and not them. Go figure! Had the police called on us and even they admitted that MATTHEW had no control over the guest who were already there and needed someone to take his frustration out on.

On top of us being racially profiled, the rooms were hideous. We spotted ants on the walls, called the front desk, their solution was to bring spray since all the hotels were booked. Never received it! Addressed this with their useless customer service line and they explained that harsh chemicals cannot come in contact with guest. Okay, so where’s the refund for the inconvenience? Not to mention, the shower in one of them rooms didn’t work. Their response: we have checked the shower in both rooms and found that the nozzle from the shower head had been moved to a strategic position. That is probably why you felt that the shower was not working. We have since then put it back to its proper arrangement and the correct out pour of water is now back to normal.

How does this help us now that our stay is over? How are we denied a refund when they clearly stated it was malfunctioned? The tone in that email from top to bottom lacked empathy and our organization will never support any of the hotel’s associated with Marriot.

This was the worst hotel I’ve been to. Dirty and run down. No soundproof rooms: people slamming their doors. Front desk tried to charge me twice. Ps if you stay here unplug the alarm clock because the maids purposely set the alarm for 6am to wake you up. Sigh. DO NOT STAY HERE. Trust me on this

What a surprise, no room service, checked in on Friday check one on Monday morning no change of sheets or towels in 3 days, shame shame, Wi-Fi very slow unless you pay for upgrade. No breakfast unless you pay a outlandish fee for their service. Staff very matter of fact. This is not a standard Marriott we have come to expect during out travel time.

The staff were terrible accusing us as adults of being to loud when it was a football team on the same floor… Matthew was terrible at tryin to talk to us even pushed a room door open of our girls he even called the police this is unacceptable an we will never return to this hotel if you are a cheer team football team or just having a little slumber party this is not the hotel to stay at….

Front desk staff, Micheal I think his name was, had a horrible attitude. Needs work on customer service skills. We sat and watched a whole football team run up and down the hallways for hours but yet he knocks on our door multiple times stating we had a noise complaint. He even called the Police. There was also ants all over our room. Horrible experience, I would never come back nor refer anyone.

Everything was perfect, unless you're traveling by automobile. You'll find the parking falls short.

The rooms have no sound proofing, loud AC fans, you can hear rooms next door, shower and toilets flushing from upstairs room. People walking, loud door closing, mostly due to horrible guests with no hotel etiquette. I do not recommend this place.
Service is great, both front desk and the bistro.

Clean, nice, easy on and off I35. Lots of restaurants, etc.right outside the door. Courtyards are an excellent value for the $. Staff is courteous and helpful.

The hotel, staff and location are amazing. Comfortable beds and rooms have plenty of room the only issue I had was with the bathroom there was a floor tile that was loose and a sharp corner sticking up. I stubbed my toe several times and hurt the bottom of my foot. Thankfully no blood no open wounds. Unfortunately I was so slammed busy and stressed that I kept forgetting to even mention it which is my bad. Housekeeping should have definitely noticed this if proper cleaning is being done because when I wiped up water on the floor it snagged the towel. Hopefully this issue has been handled being that it has been 2 months and I finally was able to stop to do this. I'm not so much worried for myself but if there was a little one in that room it would have definitely drawn blood

Only came in for one night but the staff was very efficient during check in and check out, room was comfortable and clean. The provided soap smells nice but not too fragrant which I really appreciate.

The property is old and run down. The main sign outside is held together with scotch tape. Staff is uninformed about Marriott program, untrained and confrontational. Stayed over a 100 nights at Marriott properties this year. By far this is the worst property on our journey. This property is an embarrassment to the Marriott brand. Now I understand why it was the cheapest property listed in the entire DFW area.

Alaina at the front desk was amazing! She was always in a good mood and so kind. We definitely made each other’s days better! I’m so thankful for her positive attitude and kindness.
