We chose this hotel based on the reputable name “Marriott” and the location being near NRG stadium. We pulled into the parking lot around 9: 30pm and it was nearly full with minimal spots. We found one and then noticed a sketchy looking man walking around near other cars around us. When we got out of our car, he started walking towards us which made us walk faster towards the hotel door. The elevators were broken earlier in the day and that night too. We wake up and ready to leave the following morning before 9am and the elevators were still broken…get to our truck and it had all four catalytic coverters removed and electrical wires severed…obviously we’re now stranded! I go back into the hotel to speak to the manager just to find out there is no surveillance outside whatsoever! Shake my head to Marriott! No surveillance nor security. All the manager said was that it happens all the time. If you own/drive a Toyota, I forewarn you not to risk staying here. After the tow truck saga, the rental car holiday crisis and managing a 1yr old baby, we’re heading home 3+hrs later. I had to stay with our baby in the hotel lobby because of all of our belongings and only two can fit in the tow truck cabin. A Houston police detective came in which I mistakenly thought he was there for us…no, he was inquiring about a F250 that was stolen out of the same parking lot 9 days prior! He also informed me that there was a F450 stolen also from there. There was minimal empathy or accommodations offered for me or my baby. It was a less than par experience. Also, I let my baby walk around in our room barefoot in our room…her feet were black with scum: -/ so gross. Clearly the carpets need shampooing or some sort of better cleaning. Ultimately, I am a very grateful person for the smallest of things. The best thing in all of this was Texas Tech won their bowl game against Ole Miss! Wreck ‘Em

Love the bathtub, you can sit down while taking a shower! The food is ok, they need to change the oil more frequently, the fries and tots had a twang taste to them.

Why say the rooms are for handicapped guest if they have a TUB? !? !? My husband is in a wheelchair and he clearly cant get out of his chair to get into the tub! We come to the pool and turns out "it breaks every 3 months" now he cant even get in the pool either!

We enjoyed our two nights stay. The room we got was pretty spacious. The amenities are nice. The bar was cool. Best Patron, Maker's Mark, Grand Marnier margaritas, at a very decent price. The only complaint we have, is a minor one.the TV is small.

The rooms were comfy and well cleaned staff was friendly accept for security he made us feel like we didn't belong, we asked where we could park and he immediately profiled us, told us if we smoked weed the police were coming with dogs to sniff cars and neither of us smoke so that really didn't sit well with me our room had no microwave either.and nobody told us about the $100 security deposit

My sister booked a 4 week stay due to my Neice having daily radiation. She has had to move rooms twice and then I had to move rooms yesterday. This is due to broken ac twice and fire alarm twice. Today we woke up and the ac is broken again. This is a great disappointment because my niece is fighting a battle with breast cancer and can’t even nap after radiation. The gentleman at the front is rude and seems to dislike his job. I’m sure I will have to pack up a few weeks of things again when we get back from radiation today. All the ladies at the front desk have been amazing I just wish maintenance could get things fixed.

We normally stay at Marriott properties. The Courtyard was disappointing in relationship to other Marriott hotels. Elevator broken, back parking lot security gate did not work, no clean towels or additional coffee provided.

The main entrance has been remodeled with a Starbucks and business center, however the rest of the hotel needs a major overhaul. As one reviewer mentioned, the rooms are outdated, with dirty windows, furniture, and carpet. We requested another room due to the curtains in the first room having blood stains on it. The second room had broken lamps and a broken window screen on the third floor. In the parking lot, near the dining area, there was also a broken down car with flat tires that was collecting dust. I gave a 2-star rating because the staff were pleasant and helpful despite the poor quality of the hotel. I finished my trip at another Marriott hotel in Memorial City that was clean, modern, no parking fee, and came with complimentary breakfast.

Nice hotel for a low budget pocket friendly. Staff is friendly and parking is free. The swimming pool is clean too. Sometimes the elevators don’t work at all or take too long but it’s only 8 stories and you get what you pay for ‍️

Bring a flashlight so you can see. The lighting is very poor. Unless your there for a romantic evening and would be perfect.

My first time staying with this brand and i had the worst thing ever happen! Me and another guest i was travelling with had roaches in our room! More than one and we were in separate rooms! The roaches were coming out of the air conditioning unit in the room. I was not happy at all and all they offered was to change the room which check out was in a few hours and a discount off the room. They need to be shut down and get better pest control! ABSOLUTELY DONT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!

Only one elevator was working, bathtub was yellow and peeling. Parking is $8 but was not mentioned beforehand. Room was big and comfy overall for 1 night though.
