Round Rock Cracker Barrel has standard food and service, but I did not like having to wait in a single line to pay for the meal. It was long and was competing with its retail sales area. Maybe reconsider having the wait staff process the bill. Tipping would increase for that added service.

Food was great, service was great, just expected long wait times during lunch or dinner times. So arrive alittle earlier so you can be seated in timely fashion.

Great food. The server was new so she was a little confused but she had a great attitude, definately sat 10 of us at a table that was was to small for that many people but they were busy so it was forgivable. Overall it was a good time.

The service was good. Anna did a great job since my actual waitress never visited my table. My food arrived in separate dishes…strange! I put it all on one plate. The breading on the chicken wasn’t that great. I’m a country woman and I know how the chicken is supposed to taste. Oh well!

The family and I went tonight for dinner and we totally enjoyed it. The wait staff was courteous, attentive and did an amazing job. The food was great! We have been there for breakfast but haven't had dinner there since before the pandemic started but we will be back.

Super busy restaurant. Service was so friendly! We did have to wait and it was timed very well. Food was delicious, fast and hot. Waitress was adorably friendly, polite and very accomodating. Be sure to ask for Dasha!

Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience overall. When we were being seated, we were told that they were out of potatoes and fruit cups. For anyone familiar with Cracker Barrel, you'll realize that potato dishes make up a large portion of the menu. No hash browns, no hash brown caserole, no loaded hash brown caserole, no tator tots, no loaded tator tots. You get the idea. When we went to check out, we mentioned that we'd like to purchase three pies for Thanks Giving. "All the pies we have are in that crate. " After checking the crate, we returned to the register and asked if we could prepay and order pies since the ones we wanted weren't available in the crate. "Oh, I guess I could have someone check to see what we have in back. " We waited to one side, and a lady brought out the pies we wanted, but refused to give them to us. "I'll put them behind the counter until you've paid. " Like we were going to grab them and run out the door. My wife was literally standing there with her card in her hand.

1. If your supplier can't come through, is it really so hard to send someone to H. E. B.to buy potatoes and fruit?
2. Putting available pies in a central location for customers is an okay idea, but it's pointless if it isn't regularly restocked.
3. Having a whole store of merchandise customers can pick up and bring to the register, and then refusing to hand them pies until they've paid for them. Treating customers like common thieves is never a good idea!

Standard Cracker Barrel restaurant. We went for breakfast and received what we ordered. Food is almost always good and our server was really great. She came to our table often and replenished drinks, etc. There was, of course, a line and we waited quite a while to be seated. We chose to sit outside which cut our wait time. I must say, the parking lot was completely full and tempers were high. We saw several drivers get out of their cars and engage in screaming matches with others trying to park in spaces they thought were theirs. All in all, consistent menu at reasonable prices.

Our server was Awesome!
Second time in a row they do not have potatoes.
They should put a sign in the door stating they are out of hasbrowns and hasbrown casserole so people can choose to go elsewhere.

Consistently a very good dine-in experience. Staff is always friendly. Really does give you an southern home style environment along with comfort food. A little salt n pepper are recommended when food is served cause it’s lacking that imo. Always good breakfast but prefer lunch & dinner entrees more

I only eat at Cracker Barrel once a year. This year, the food was bland. Salt and pepper would not have helped. I remember it differently.

Placed a curbside pickup order but had to walk inside to get my order. I checked in and no one came outside. Now I'm hoping my food is hot once I get home. I waited for 7 mins before going inside.

Great food and a wide choice on the menu. Conveniently located just off the i35, next to Chuys. The shop can be a little crowded at times due to the layout, but it is filled with unique gifts and lots of unusual and hard to find candy.

The end of an era.

My wife and I have come to Cracker Barrel for over 25 years at least twice per month. We saw it as a treat and looked forward to it.

Over the last couple of years they made changes to the menu, made the portions smaller and took away our favorite meal, Grandpa's country breakfast. First they took away the chicken fried chicken and replaced with chicken fingers (for breakfast yuk).

Now there breakfast menu is down to half a page and our favorite meal is gone.

I get it. Pandemic. Supply Chain.whatever. The food quality and quantity has gone down hill and that has nothing to do with pandemic. I know food costs are more, raise the prices to reflect that.

It is the companies that figure it out now that will survive and thrive. Those that cut back and hope will not be around when things return to normal.

For us unfortunately, this is the final straw. We are moving on to other pastures and saying goodbye to an old friend. We will think back to our fond memories.

Cracker Barrel is a convenient, casual and affordable restaurant serving a wide range of food items including breakfast. I tried the chicken and dumplings. The chicken was super tender and there was an abundance of dumplings. My two side dishes were the same: fried apples. I love those fried apples. It's like apple pie without the crust.
Have to stop by on Thursday for their roast turkey.and some more fried apples.

I love to go to Cracker Barrel when I'm in Round Rock. A shout out to our waitress Gloria M, who gave us such great service. Never did we have an empty coffee cup. The place was super busy, yet they managed to get food out quickly and it was so good.

Good country style home cooking and a store full of fun and pretty things to catch your eye, Christmas shopping to birthday to self and all things home/kitchen. Have fun!
