Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Harker Heights TX

Food is normally really good, today wasn't the normal, always look forward to fried turkey breast, but it was dry and hard. Should have just had the roast turkey dinner. Hopefully was just being overwhelmed by Thanksgiving day

I always enjoy this place. Most of the food was good. The gravy was so very bland. That chicken fried steak is on point! So much food!

Been to this location several times, I’ve had to deal with poor customer service a couple times but never had an issue with food.

The very best customer service I’ve received is from Donald and I ask to be seated at one of his tables when I visit on the weekends. (10 Stars for Donald)

We went in for a friend get together because they wanted mimosas but definitely was disappointed! It was busy so I understand our wait time but after we ordered our food we proceeded to wait and watch others receive their food after being seated after us. We waited 45min to receive our food. To only be disappointed with burnt biscuits, dry eggs and disgusting dry sausage. We ended up spending almost $100 for nothing but disappointment so needless to say we won't be returning back for our future get togethers. We'll be headed to Austin or Waco.

Whenever we are traveling, we try to stop at Cracker Barrel on the way. I am SO glad we stopped at the Cracker Barrel in Temple! Anyone who has been to Cracker Barrel knows the food will be great and the shopping will be fun, but the service at this Cracker Barrel was over the top. Especially now, when everyone is short staffed and the ones who are working seem overwhelmed, our server, Kadaron was Amazing! He made the wonderful meal we have come to know and love turn into an experience we will never forget! Cheers!

We were seated quickly and our waitress was there right away. The breakfast was well prepared and delicious. Good choice of menu items for everyone. Our waitress was great. We liked the atmosphere. Loved this place.

The servers are always friendly and the food comes out really quick. Their shop is also very neat and full of nice merchandise.

Yummy to my tummy! Great service provided by Myllie. He was very attentive and amicable. Needed a nap after that amazing breakfast.
