Always a great experience at Cracker Barrel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Love everything about the restaurant and store!

Crappiest service EVER had to wait 40 mins for to go order, then it was sloshed all over the bag, the plate cockeyed, didn't get my tea! Then they didn't give me my tip back on my card so they got a tip for the WORST SERVICE EVER! IM MORE THAN MAD & WILL NEVER GO TO CRACKER BARREL IN GAINESVILLE AGAIN!

We eat at the Gainesville Cracker Barrel each week when we visit my MIL. The staff is always friendly and the food is delicious. Our server was Donna—she did a great job. And the cashier (I’m sorry, I don’t know her name.) was friendly and helpful as usual.

Service was good. Everyone is always so nice! However, the food was only mediocre this year. It’s usually really good. We order the whole meal every year for Christmas. The worst part was we ordered the Coca Cola chocolate cake for our daughter (she looks forward to it every year), and we didn’t get it. She doesn’t like the other desserts so that was disappointing. Honestly, we should have checked though. We’re just used to everything being in our order.

Food was decent. Service was what was to be expected but nothing over the top. Our waitress couldn't recommend anything off the menu said in her opinion, none of it was very good. Took longer than expected for a breakfast meal (just over 35 minutes to arrive). The girl who checked us out though changed the whole dynamic of our experience she was a true gem.

Service was subpar in comparison to all our other visits. I feel that servers should at least say/apologize upfront to customers when they are short handed and having to cover more tables then typical because of it. I did notice that he was moving quick because of staff shortage. If explained upfront that they will try their best possibly would explain why slow or at least seem slow. Otherwise will seem, to customers, subpar service and thus definitely affect any type of tip to give!

Excellent store to buy your suvenor and have lunch or dinner, excellent prices on lunches and many items to buy

Ordered Chicken and Dumplings 1 golf ball sized piece of chicken on nickel size. The manager on duty came out with two more SMALL pieces of chicken with no apology whatsoever.our waitress Taylor L was fabulous!

Food was okay. Priced right. Our waitress was Donna and she was amazing. Great place to shop even and had a very good variety. Lots of menu items to choose from!

2nd time we have been there and they were out of cornbread. The meatloaf was extremely small potion and burnt.

I Love To Eat At Cracker Barrel…The Food Is Always So Good…Service Is Great…Serviced With A Smile…And Of Course, After I Eat I Love Shopping For Things For The Store…I Love The Bags Because They Are So Beautiful and Long Lasting…Also, Buying Candy Or Shopping For Clothes Or Holiday Decorations…It’s A Great Feeling Of The Old Country Store.

Hostess that sat us down were extremely rude didnt talk or say anything there were 4 at the booth and none of them said anything just grabbed our menus and sat us down.food was mediocre waitress Alison was extremely amazing if you come out i would ask to sit in her section if not youll leave unhappy. Alison is the only reason theyre getting 3 stars if not i would leave them 1.

It's as a cute place but I was very disappointed in the breakfast
My eggs were cooked fine but they were the smallest eggs I've ever seen. I ordered ham steak to go with them which was tough as leather and completely non-editable. Coffee lacked flavor and wasn't very hot.

Ordered lunch Chicken & Dumplins. Twenty minutes later waitress says fresh wont be ready for 10 minutes. Said I will wait. 20 minutes later told they dont have any? ! Would I like to order something else? What a waste of my time. AVOID

Food was very tasty especially the fried okra. Martha was our waitress and we were very pleased with her service.

Great food. Great service. The Biscuit Benny was great, and the Fried Chicken is the best I've had in a long while. I enjoy the biscuits and gravy here because it's not sausage gravy.

Absolutely the worst chicken fried steak I've had had since grade school. In fact it tasted like institutional quality. Even the mashed potatoes were terrible. I ended up just eating biscuits.
