Cracker Barrel Old Country Store reviews
27My wife and I have always loved eating at Cracker Barrel. The food is good and the service is always top notch. We've continued to support our local restaurant throughout the pandemic. This time, we were disappointed to see that social distancing was not enforced and customers were not asked to wear masks while in the store (separate from the dining area). The workers all wore their masks, but the lack of regulations still made us uncomfortable. We won't be coming back until after the pandemic.
A lot time for sitting in a table, 45 minutes and when we came inside the restaurant we saw several tables alone without cleaning.
The service was good, even though someone made a mistake by making sweet tea in the unsweetened tea container. The food was good as well, but I was disappointed that they did not have the corned beef and cabbage I wanted.
My family and I have been customers of Crocker Barrel for a long time, we always travel from opposite side of the city to enjoy their food.until today. To begin, our waitress (I don't remember her name) was very rude, pushy and very indifferent. Took our order and came back with the worst sorry looking meals I have ever seen. Spoke with the manager and she didn't even pretend to care, all she said was "I will take these items from your ticket" and left. Never saw either one again until we got the ticket. Sorry to say it. But this place has lost its touch and the good taste we were used to in the past. This has been the last time we eat at this place. Very unfortunate.
Hostess seated bigger parties that came after us before us. Finally got seated table was dirty. We sat at the table 20 minutes waiting for our server. Another 20 minutes waiting for our drinks. Waiter was rude didn’t acknowledge if we needed anything. When our food finally came out green beans and mashed potatoes were cold. Service is terrible none of the workers are friendly or have a smile.
Food was great and the manager Eddie was very friendly and courteous, he offered me a free entree because they forgot an item on my ticket
My family and I enjoyed it. We love our server he was awesome and very attentive. I love it very good customer service I know because I'm a manager at a restaurant
Love this place. Great food and clean bathrooms. The gift shop has so many unusual items, love browsing through them. When on the road always look for one. Love it!
Great food. Great service. Great shopping. What more could you ask for? Breakfast is my favorite. Amazing!
Down home Southern comfort food. Great place for a family meal one of my favorites when I want dinner and a movie. The theater is just next door
This was the worst service i have ever received in a restaurant, this was my first time to Cracker Barrel in El Paso and it will definitely be my last, it's a real shame that they did such a horrible job for their customers
Best place to have breakfast in El Paso when craving something classic. Blubbery pancakes are amazing, all the other options are good as well. Service is always good. They really need another location on the East side. It is a bit annoying to find it so crowded all the time.
This place rocks, not only is the food awesome, the prices are good too. Endless potatoes and fried apples are the best! The store in the front has great items and is a fun way to kill the time before and after eating.
Good food, good prices. It's a good idea to have their app to make reservations and find out if there is a wait time
In my family we call it crackle bell as that's how youngest daughter said it when she was a little girl. She loved the crackling fire in fall and winter back then and we still try to get there together as often as possible for the "smokehouse" and "momma's pancake breakfast". We love it because it's country.
The breakfast is really tasty. I had the biscuits and gravy with sausage and my girlfriend had the French toast with a hash brown casserole. Service was great and the price is very affordable.
Cracker Barrel is the best. Especially if you're an RVer. We have been able to enjoy delicious food and boondock with slides out and generator in the last 2 Cracker Barrels. The service is always pleasant. Thank you Cracker Barrel.
Always great service and great food. (I only go to the Cracker Barrell for the breakfast though)
Make sure you plan your visit with time because it's usually packed.
AMAZING! First time going and my food was perfect! Chicken breast was so tender, full.of flavor. Normally I have to add something to my food like lemon or salsa but not here, will definitely look forward to next visit
Their food is very good and I go as often as I can or in the area. Of course there's the shopping after in their country store. I love it!
