Cracker Barrel Old Country Store reviews
32 They are getting rid of food that are American staple.
Went for breakfast and wanted oatmeal they said that they were getting rid of that. And there are other foods that they’re getting rid of to their changing at their menus if I could I would’ve given them a zero star
OMG! What is not to love! The food is amazing the hostess is very sweet and the servers are amazing. Wonderful atmosphere and place to get a hearty meal. Love it!
Always enjoy Cracker Barrel. Menu has been reduced greatly. Looking forward to normal times again someday.
Food was very mediocre. Frozen chicken fried steak. Not fresh hand battered. Several hours old mashed potatoes. Completely bland chicken and dumplings. Very disappointed.
I've been coming to crackerbarrel since I was a little kid. Hasn't changed a bit and I still love it! Plus they have this new coffee that I really like.
Country-homestyle food with that special country-homestyle welcoming that you'll find at your Grandma's house. Always enjoy eating here. I love a good Caesar Salad, and they have the best!
It was my grand daughter birthday. She chose the restaurant. We received excellent service and food. She was sang too. 2 times and received a great birthday treat!
I had the grilled chicken and it was great, my husband had chicken fried chicken and wasn't impressed
Server took drinks order. They took 12 minutes and came with the meal. We're talking water and coffee. Meal was cold, probably sat on the line. She was in the weeds or something. She then never came back and had to get a manager to bring our check.
I was having a bad day when a friend suggested we meet at Cracker Barrel for dinner. I'm glad I did; the food was perfectly prepared and the waiter was professionally gracious. It made my evening seem better.
First time was every thing their reputation described. The service was great. The restaurant was nice and clean. The food magically delicious!
I have eaten at many Cracker Barrels in my travels. I love their food. I have only ordered Thanksgiving family meal from two different places. The best one was in Alabama. This 3 star is for the one in Lufkin, TX. Food poorly seasoned, and meal was incomplete. It was my fault for not checking before leaving. When arriving home after 45 min drive I was missing the pie and cranberry sauce I ordered. Was sadly disappointed.
Wonderful atmosphere and just right for family and friends to enjoy a delicious meal together. We had a great time and the food was truly home style cooking
Excellent location. Food was very good and our server was excellent. One of my regular dining spots
Waited out a storm in our RV. Sun shining small stack to wake up to. Couldn’t be better. The after Xmas sake was awesome too for some last minute gifts.
Same food now that they have expanded. Just so so. I had pancakes which are hard to screw up. Not same place I knew in my old Tennessee home back in 1980s
.
Walked into this location craving some country cooking. The store was nice and stocked fairly well. The staff was pleasant and quite chipper. That's where the good part stops. I ordered the chicken fried steak and two sides. The chicken fried steak tasted and even looked like it was from frozen. The sides were very bland. I left very disappointed and still craving good country style cooking. I think the only reason I'll ever go back is for the store, plenty of neat little finds in there.
This place is getting worse with every time I decide to give it a chance. Management seriously needs to learn what customer care is, Linda seriously doesn't know how to talk to people. Only saving grace is the items available in the shop, even if they have a tendency to not be set up in the best orientation.
Waitress lil slow on tea refill and in getting all of our order out.food was great. Enjoyed it once we got it all.
