Cracker Barrel Old Country Store reviews
24Mildred and the manager on duty, Daniel provided the worst service. We had another person join our party and Mildred didnt want to accomodate us with an additional seat or join tables. She moved us from our table and made us transfer our food from one table to another one and she and the on duty manager Daniel were extremely rude and provided the worst service. I will never return to this establishment because of the horrendous service provided.
Quoted me 15 min for an order of two mini pancake kids meals and a sausage biscuit and it took 45 min! They always misquote times and tang forever so I rarely visit
Quick service even though busy after winter storm in the area. Food was good and hot. Keisha was my server and she did a great job.
I love coming to Cracker Barrel. We think they have the best pancakes.
However, this time I ordered from them to go and my entire order was messed up. I ordered the grandmas sampler and didn’t receive my fried apples, at all. My scrambled eggs were cold and hard. My ham tasted like they poured the whole bottle of salt on it.
Maybe it’s because of COVID, idk but this was a bad experience at this Cracker Barrel.
First time here. Food was good. Staff was friendly. My waitress went out of her way to suggest her favorites and help me build a meal comparable to what I like at Waffle House!
Has some of the best soul touching food! There breakfast is unbelievable and I can’t get enough of it. Not too pricey at all and you’ll definitely love the gift shop. Will go back over and over and over again.
It was a busy day because it was Saturday morning, however, we beat the rush coming in. We did have to wait in a long line to pay. We just took turns browsing while we let the line go down. Lovely holiday items in the store. Marvelous food!
Absolutely love Cracker Barrel. The country store has such quirky items and it is just a fun time checking out everything. The food is so delicious, warming, and at a great price. And the service is good as well.
No sense of urgency. More than half the restaurant was empty ad yet everyone was told they had to wait 10-15 minutes. It was quite comical watching each person's reaction when they looked in to see the emptiness when told their wait time. We decided to leave.
Everything was great until checking out. The cashier was rude and very unprofessional!
1st off it took about 15 minutes just to check out because they had 2 cashiers and 1 was having issues with her register so the other 1 stepped in to help instead of calling a manager. When i finally got to check out the cashier literally threw my change at me.
Someone's sweet child came and picked it up and handed it to me.
The good:
Friendly service
Good food
The bad:
They told us it would be a 30 min wait. Which was fine, however, it took over an hour just to get a table and then another 15 minutes before our server ever showed up.
She was way in the "weeds" and was totally overwhelmed the entire time we were there.
They where listed on the internet as a restaurant with veteran day meal for veteran on veteran day however when we where seated I was informed they where not participating in free veteran day meal food however the food was decent.
Never had a bad meal. However, the greeters today DO NOT follow the call in list. They put new arrivals, with the same number of guests, in front of us even after we called in 1 hour ahead of time. EXCUSES EXCUSES EXCUSES!
Very poor managing skills.
I was less then happy this time I used to love to go there for lunch or dinner but the breakfast left a lot lacking. The biscuits were too hard the scrambled eggs at my husband got was cooked too too hard and generally just not the usual quality that you have.
The service was excellent there was a short wait for a packed house the drink refills came before I realized that they were needed but most importantly they were extra friendly and patient with my aunt who suffers from dementia. With love I thank you.
We like cracker barrel overall and visited during all our travels but this particular one has a long wait even though there were empty tables, plus a long wait after submitting an order and the hostess that was monitoring the guest list was skipping people over the ones that were waiting. BUT the waitress was very courteous.
Had farm raised catfish, steamed broccoli, hash brown casserole and mixed green salad. My Wife had the salad, sweet potato casserole, and grilled chicken strips. Everything was excellent, including the service. Very nice dining experience.
The wait was ridiculous. I was told I had a 30 minute wait and it was past an hour. When I went to check the hostess told me that they were about to be short staffed.
Service was not good at all.food was very cold when we were served.server never came around to check on us. I asked for napkins twice.never received them. I will not be visiting ever again
It's worth the wait! Each time we've gone, there has always been a line (about a 15-20 minute wait). I guess that's a good indication that the food awesome! Hashbrown casserole, biscuits and pancakes are the BEST! Food comes out quickly! We've never had a bad experience. Servers are friendly and professional.
