Melissa and the team at Craft Doors took great care in producing a custom door for my garage. Every step of the process; from design to stain choices to final delivery was handled with great pride and dedication to craft. I will definitely work with them again on future door projects. It was an excellent place to work I really like the job but I just couldn't learn it fast enough they want you to learn basically how to do it before you've been trained but other than that it's a good company a little management it's okay I would suggest any young men likes to work with wood to give it a shot Sam the owner is awesome and very smart

DO NOT buy a garage door from Craft Doors USA. They have no idea what they are doing. I'll preface this with that I am a garage door installer and have been installing doors since 1994. A customer contacted me and asked me to install three doors they purchased from Craft Doors USA. Craft Doors USA sent the wrong size drums, cables and springs. They gave me improper information of the weight of the doors, so I had to make three trips to my supplier to get the right parts. One trip for the cables and drums and two trips for the proper springs. My supplier is 53 minutes one way from the job, so I had almost 6 hours of drive time plus mileage. I lost a day and half on this job. I was told by their contact to send them an invoice for the materials and my time. They sent me a check for less than half, which doesn't even cover my out of pocket expenses for the materials. I should not have to take a loss because of their incompetence. I realize mistakes are made, but they should take ownership of their mistakes and not place the burden on others. BUYER BEWARE

I had spent a lot of time researching the web for custom garage doors. I was looking for something very specific to go on my new barn. When I came across Craft Doors USA, I knew I had found the company to do my work. Their website was very user friendly with many options to choose from. After I finally decided on the design, I worked directly with the company to create the perfect garage door for my barn. I appreciated the flexibility that the company had to match the current design of my barn too. The doors were expensive but you definitely get what you pay for. The quality of the doors is excellent. My local garage door installer was also very pleased with the quality of the doors. One support rail was bent after closer inspection during installation and I would recommend that you do follow Craft Door USA instructions very closely upon accepting receipt of your garage doors. Even thought the packaging was very impressive, we still had a few minor issues. If you are looking for garage doors that will enhance the look of your home, building, barn or any structure that needs garage doors, I would completely recommend this company. Had researched more than 1 door builder from west coast (california) to east coast North Carolina. The best for all of my requirements was Craft Doors USA.
My requirements were to have a barn look and a size of opening12ft / 12ft. This was no problem for them.
I wanted to have a natural wood finish. All hardware was furnished by them.
Ellen was involved from start to delivery and very, very helpful.

Bottom line up front; what an outstanding company and custom product. This review is gonna’ be a bit long, but I have to do this solid because I love my doors and moreover, respect the process it took to make sure what I had envisioned as the new face on my home came through. These doors literally changed the look of our home and is such a wow factor taken notice by lots of our neighbors.
My first call was greeted with an actual person on the end of the line, which is nice. Totally professional staff taking calls and they were always patient with me when I didn’t understand the important details they needed to discuss with me about different kinds of parts and stuff to make sure everything fit correctly when it arrived. They also took calls late and on the weekend during a time I didn’t expect an answer. I just wanted to leave messages, but got a live answer instead. Bravo!
I think I learned more about making garage doors than I expected when ordering mine. You’ll need to physically measure and provide some detailed information as needed to design your door. ; no brainer. After talking through all of this just over a few days, we had a plan and I knew what to expect. They sent an email with a sketch, an actual professional drawing of my doors. I didn’t get to the email and respond right away. I received a courtesy call a day later reminding me I had a drawing to approve before they could begin. The lady answering my call named Tamra insisted that I look at the drawing thoroughly and check the measurements once more with the drawing in hand in my garage. Hats off to her! Thank you! I’m glad I did not realizing information I gave them was off by over an inch, and the design for one area I hadn’t considered how it’d look and function. We were able to catch that which was great and make adjustments to the design. They had another drawing back to me the next day and all was well. That would have sucked to deal with a garage door that didn’t fit due to a little lack of attention to detail and response on my part. So, I really appreciate the redundancy from their office making sure we got it right.
Now for the downside. I had a scratch in a corner that made me cringe a bit at first when we unwrapped everything in the driveway. That obviously happened during shipping from looking at the pallet which was packed and protected very well. Looked like that corner was banged by something heavy during shipping. I expected it to be much worse before unwrapping. I let them know and the the owner Sam responded to me the same day and had several solutions and was able to assist me in correcting this with little effort. Easy fix! He and the staff followed up and were very prompt in making sure my door was good.
Thank you Craft Doors USA for the home facelift! Great experience, great company! Don’t hesitate reaching out to them if you’re looking for one-off custom doors for your home. Cheers, Brian

I purchased two carriage swing out doors with a matching entry door and custom cedar shutters for my house. The craftsmanship is by far the best I've came across in a while. You can tell they take pride in what they do. I was blown away by the quality of the wood and product very sturdy, solid beautiful doors. A+ Customer service Tamra answered every question throughout the entire process and helped me to find the perfect stain to blend in with my home. These doors and shutters have made my house come to life. Thank you Tamra and Craft Doors USA for giving my house a face lift.:)

I ordered a garage door model#202 with a matching entry door for my new home they are absolutely beautiful. I have people all of the time stop by to see where I got them from. I worked with Tamra and Melissa and they both were amazing throughout the complete process. I would recommend Craft Doors USA to anyone.

Extremely disappointed in the "after sale" service by Craft Doors. Melissa is very nice, however their product did not meet my expectation or their advertising. I spent over $14k for doors, and paid the upcharge for kiln drying as well as pre finish. The doors looked fine upon arrival, however after installing, re-sealing, and painting the wood began to shrink, leaving as much as 3/16" between panels. I left many messages over a several week period of time and got no reply. I finally caught Melissa on her business number and was told that their were several health issues in the Company, and she had given the issue over to her shop foreman Don.don did call back and explained that their was nothing they could do, other than reccomend that I seal up the cracks with a water based sealer and re seal (again) and re-paint (again) and that Craft doors would not be willing to pickup any of that expense. I would not do business with them again.
