Creative Circle reviews
5I came to this location to speak to someone about opportunities with Creative Circle. It stated online that they were open until 5 pm. Came to the building, and actually paid for parking, only to see that I couldn't just go on the floor. Someone had to use their key card for me to go on that floor. When I finally get to the floor, I see that Creative Circle has a doorbell and another machine for you to wave your hand. I rang the doorbell three times, and no one came. I guess I'll have to find opportunities online because no one helps you in person.
It's a somewhat toxic relationship, similar to what we all have with the Dallas Cowgirls or Mavs. Some of the peeps there are great, do their job, communicate, fight for their biggest fans (the creatives in need of work), and always remain pleasant. But then there are some who are just lazy, not very nice (definitely jaded), have awful communication skills, and a bunch of other negatives I'd rather not say. I'll keep it professional.
Overall, CC has a ton of jobs coming through their digital and physical doors, however if you're in need of a gig but can be patient in your search, I'd recommend Aquent, Freeman+Leonard (favorite), or another creative staffing agency. Just being honest!
Called the front desk and lady was not helpful. Lied and said my info wasn’t in the database after I’ve literally sent in my info multiple times. Asked ok what do I need to do to get into database and she said nothing and didn’t even offer to help or anything. Terrible service.
The recruiting process is very good. I liked having a point of contact to ask questions and help to prepare me for the interview.
I have been a client of this office for a couple of years. In the past year, I have had to redo my I-9 verification over twice due to miscommunication within Creative Circle. Rather than fixing clear systemic issues and apologizing, the staff here puts responsibility on me to keep redoing this process and then acts like I am making it up when I say I did this with their own employees already. The apex of this unprofessionalism came today when I called their office to speak with an operations coordinator. The front desk receptionist answered and lashed out at me for trying to speak to this person and then abruptly hung up. There are plenty of other agencies out there, so please do yourself a favor and avoid Creative Circle as I will do now.
