Creative Soul Music School Fort Worth

They seem a bit money hungry! I paid for summer camp and within the hour realized my child wouldn't be able to attend. I was told it was not a refundable charge but I could use the credit. Understandable. I agreed to use my credit at a later time for piano lessons. They called almost daily to get me scheduled. I was out of the coutry. They kept calling. I finally agreed to 4 dates. I had to miss one. The makeup had to be scheduled before 9/1. They couldn't find me an hr slot so offered 30 mins. Not to mention the waste of time spent when we did show up. The instructor we had was no longer employed there. The new instructor assigned didn't seem interested in teaching that hour. The class was at 5. We were there before 5 and told to have a seat and the instructor would come get us. At 515, I asked was something wrong? A man that had previously asked if my daughter was someone else comes out. Still says nothing to us. Was just looking for someone. The receptionist tells us our instructors name. At this point its 525. I ask the same instructor if he is "the name given to me by the recptionist? " He says yes! I asked you if you were "wrong child name. "I reiterate we are not said child. He says well who are you? At this point its 530. I'm annoyed. My child is annoyed. The lesson was terrible as my child was uncomfortable. Promptly at 6 pm, the instructor ended our class. I asked for a call from the manager. I am still waiting! If you have a choice go elsewhere. This has not been a pleasant experience. I am ready to let them keep my $399 since thats all they seem to be concerned about.

Update: I got a call within minutes of posting the above review with an offer to reimburse one session if I remove this review or I can finish out my lessons! The manager apologized and stated the man that was so rude to my daughter and I walked out of them. She said she has no control over that. Suddenly we could get me scheduled for 1.5 hrs. I took the review down, never got a refund. Was scheduled for makeup lessons only to still have a late start to the class. The unfortunate part was the new instructor seemed very nice. I was willing to continue with make up lessons with her but I had enough. When I spoke to the teacher about getting my last hr lesson with her she said sure I am available Wed, Thu, or Friday. I went to the receptionist to get scheduled and was told, "Sorry! She is new and doesn't know she can't just schedule people. You have to go on our portal or call daily for cancellations and take one of those slots. " Yall I was already scheduled for a 30 min session with someone else. I cancelled and just washed my hands. Very unfortunate. I have several friends who tried explaining its worth the hassle with the customer service. I disagree. I felt unwanted and I refuse to pay to be treated this way. I reposted my review because people need to know. When I was asked to remove the message, I thought things would be better. Instead, it remained the same. Customer Service matters. Perception matters. Every customer matters.

Complete rip off. The teacher I was assigned didn't even tell me what range I sing in and she used our session to practice the song. Meaning she spent 7 min trying to learn the song that we were supposed to practice and wasted a lot of time on small talk. Another day she showed up late but she still ended our session at the normal time. And when I decided I wanted to cancel they made it as uncomfortable as possible. You notify them that you wish to cancel and that should be the end of it, but after our last session she comes in with the paper work of my cancelation and confronts me about it asking why I want to quit. I wish I hadn't of been so nice and just told her how terrible she is but I didn't want to hurt her feelings. This place only works for children because they dont know any better adults don't waste your money.

If I could give no star I would. As other reviewers said, they are not flexible. When you can't make a lesson, you have to fit in their schedule and with an instructor different from his main instructor. So if you miss two classes you have two make-up with 2 instructors different from your main instructor. Of course, that's not something they tell you upfront when they "sugar-call" you to sign-up. Worst is, even when you miss a class because the instructor can't make it and no other instructor is available, you still have to do as they suit them. I have ended my son's subscription here, couldn't do the last two sessions because of instructor calling off (1 of which they didnt call to let us know) but they can't refund because it's their "policy". Btw it's their policy to call student when instructor is not available but guess what? That's the only part of the policy they don't follow 100% but of course that's normal. When i ask for it, they can't refund but can only pay by make-up lol, what a scam! May these paid and unfulfilled lessons bring you more students and success

We have not done lessons here yet but it’s a great place for a birthday party for young kids:)

Worst music school we have been in the Fort Worth area. We have a 3 year old and the teacher has students who are just running and throwing objects without redirecting them or saying anything. No structure, it is just stressful to be there. Canceled our membership and got charged another month. Worst experience ever! I will not recommend it.

We have been taking here for 6 months so far and this was our first recital. The recital experience was first class. Amazing performances.

Lessons are great, I like they offer recitals. The website and parent communication just needs a little streamlining.

One of the most undisciplined institutes I have seen in my life.
1st experience: they don’t let you know your instructor is not coming and after 15 mins you need to find it out by yourself.
2nd experience: i could not understand my guitar lessons because all guitars there were damaged and finally I had to take my own.
3rd: when I missed my classes they don’t give you options suits you, you need to be flexible with them.
The instructor was good, the institute was horrible!

Creative Soul has the coolest teachers ever! Every recital you can see how the students enjoy what they’re doing and it’s largely due to the amazing teachers they have.

Wonderful instructors. I’m pleased with how quickly my daughter has learned to play piano and her love for music has grown tremendously.

We’ve been at creative soul for years and love our top notch instructors, the consistency of them showing up week after week, helping my littles grow so much in their musical abilities and knowledge! The communication and customer service from Casey (owner/founder) & Co.is outstanding and we love the free recitals! We look forward to hanging with Ally and Tanner every week:) Can’t recommend them enough!

After 8 months of having my son take piano classes I decided to finally find someone else. The instructor is never there. They call you last minute about it when you do get a call. I always find out when the instructor filling in comes out for the lesson. They don't communicate with you and the front lady is rude! Too expensive for the service they provide. You can find better for less money! I never knew you receive a 3 month or 6 month milestone.not until his last day we notice a thropy with my sons name. I ask the front lady if he gets a thropy, she said if you see his name get it.
Um okay. Glad we saw it on the way out. My son was so excited and didn't even get recognition

The teachers are great. I love that when you miss a class they offer weekend and zoom make up sessions.

It's a great learning center and provides excellent results. Nice and helpful teachers!

Son has been att Creative Soul for 5 years and loves it! Always offers opportunities to perform in front of an audience and promotes self-confidence. Our son hops on a piano and plays freely whenever he sees one.
