I recently went to the store in The Colony. I met a young man named Ashton, who was working and I had an issue with my phone. I was not receiving data. I was having trouble using it to navigate because I also work for doordash and using my data. I eventually ran out of data. Ashton helped me fix my data issue. He spent a lot of time to figure it out and he didn't give up. He solved that first issue for me. My other issue that I had is that he told me I was eligible to upgrade to the $40/month deal to receive more data. It only would cost $2 and some change to to get it activated right away. Sadly, I had no money to upgrade to the $40 package about having 10 GB of data but I could not get to it because I needed to find $2. To my unfortunate luck, I did not even have change. I had overdrafted on my account, and I also needed gas money. I was not able to use my debit card either. I was stuck. Seeing how I was struggling and how necessary it was for me to upgrade, he told me to hang on for a second. He looked into wallet to see what he had. Then come he went to his car to see if he had some change. He also didn't have any. Then, he called his friend and asked him to then know him like three dollars. After he did that he was able to basically pay for me to get the upgrade. He was a lifesaver and he did whatever he felt was necessary to take care of me and I truly appreciate his care generosity. I need to return to the store to pay him back but I just want to cricket to know that he deserves a raise or he deserves recognition because he was selfless. He went up up and beyond to provide amazing customer service and compassion so if you guys see Ashton know that you will be in good hands. He represented the company very well. The company itself was a little misleading when I actually signed up, because I was told a different rate and that if I stick with auto pay I would only have to pay $25 a month. In the attitude saying that it would lock me in at that rate. Then, I was charged $30 and said that is the monthly rate. The $25 was only going to apply for the first month but it was not going to continue. No it's only a $5 difference but it's the principle of it how you lure someone in believing a certain price when advertised as such. In 1A call to complain about that, they said some excuse and I had to continue paying the $30. Considering that I was at a point where I couldn't even find $2, it was a big deal. That's not what the add said. I was disappointed in that. Anyways, I just wanted to acknowledge and give my shout out to Ashton because he is what made the customer service experience of five star service. It's because of him I upgraded and it's because of him I was able to earn something for myself that night and get gas to pay my other bill. It's because of him I will stick around with cricket and stick with the updgrade. He should be thanked and acknowledged. I also owe him lunch or something.

This review is for cricket as a whole not the store itself. Terrible do not get a phone with them you bill says 60 but you pay 70 because their app doesn't work so yu have to go in store to pay an additional fee. They charge u a late fee even if your just a couple days late. And if you want an extension you have to pay. If you want to switch your number
15 which is ridiculous. If you want totalk to support over the phone be prepared to pay. Just a terrible company look elsewhere for a new phone /company. Id suggst metro pcs and boost mobile over cricket.

Update: Cricket responded with a generic review response.ironically as we are on day 2 of trying to visit Cricket to purchase a phone.there's no sign on the door, but it's locked and no one is answering the phone, despite saying it's open till 6pm on Sundays. We tried to go at 2pm.

We were out running errands and the door was locked with a handwritten note that says "be right back. " We ran all our errands and in between, drove to check. The note never left for over an hour. We called and someone picked up with a loud background and said he wasn't there and maybe in 30 minutes he'd be back. This was 4pm on a Saturday?

That lady that works there sometimes get on my last nerve, but I've never been disrespectful (not yet anyway) she has bad vibes.she's white not to young, not old with dark hair and glasses.just describing what she looks likeSeriously though!

Blake provided excellent customer service. Was very knowledgeable about each plan provided and was very helpful when assisting with my mom with her new service. Great guy!

Called this location for help after trying to activate my phone through the Cricket main customer support line was unable to fully get me switched over and my phone working. Blake answered and put me in the right direction. His service -helpful, knowledgeable, direct, and kind - was a stark contrast to treatment I was given as a new customer from the corporate line. Thank you so much, Blake! 10/10 would start here next time.

THIS STORE IS COMMITING Fraud! The rep stole my upgrade, worth the read. One of the representatives at this location committed fraud, and the manager refuses to even have a conversation with me about it. I went to get my upgrade due to the 3g shutdown yesterday at the store in Euless, was told I already got my upgrade January 31st at the store in the Colony. I drove to the store in the colony and they showed me a receipt for an iPhone se that was purchased 5 minutes before close on the 31st on our account and I had never set foot in this store. I did call this store on January 31st to have them check if my imei number on my current phone was eligible after the shut down and was told it was not. The rep then asked for my account pin which I did not have because this is my mom's account, he then reset the account pin and accessed the account, I don't know why, I literally just called for an imei check (this is all on a recorded phone call btw that I will email to anyone interested to hear it). 45 minutes after my phone call the phone was sold on my account by the rep Jesus. Jesus sold himself or another rep my upgrade, and they are refusing to give me one now. Even worse the reps accused me of trying to get a second free phone, and the manager refused to even speak with me. I will be filing a complaint with the state attorney General, do not go to this store they are crooks.

I brought my dad here to buy a new phone and Blake was SO helpful! He made the process so easy and stress free. He stayed on the phone with t mobile to unlock my dad’s phone for over an hour. He was patient and worked till he found a solution for us. I am so thankful for him. Thank you Blake for making our experience!

ATTENTION ️️️- I know Cricket themselves respond to this and not the dealer. Action needs to be taken regarding this matter.

An employee named Jesus committed fraud on an account January 31st, 5 minutes before close. They asked for the customers pin over the phone, reset it for no reason and proceeded to steal their free upgrade. This is unacceptable and I’m honestly not surprised that you haven’t taken action yet.

Why do you continue to let low life dealers continue to operate? Just because they have quantity doesn’t mean it’s QUALITY!

I called a couple stores and whenever I called the colony store Blake answered the phone. He was very helpful and polite and was ready to help. Then I came to the store and he helped me get a new phone. I am very pleased with his customer service. This store is lucky to have him.
