Crisis Ministries reviews
8Amazing organization. I was out of work for more than 2 weeks due to COVID. I'm so grateful they had funds and were able to lend a hand during my time of need. Professional, caring, and understanding. They gave me the best gift. Faith.
As a volunteer…I am proud to be a part of an incredible community at Crisis Ministries. Ruby is our fearless leader and she supports each & every volunteer equally. Love is the best word to describe the harmony and spirit of fellowship amongst the volunteers and neighbors we serve.
This place is very racist and prejudice. They judged me based off a photo of me during happier more stable times before I fell on hard times and needed just a little help. If you need help or want to help I suggest another organization. They make you jump through a million hoops knowing they never had intentions of helping anyway.
Wonderful place to go get help with groceries if you are having a hard time. The volunteers who run this place are some of the kindest, sweetest people you'll ever meet, with a real heart for ministry and helping others. And you usually get a good amount of food to help you through. Thanks Crisis Ministries!
The service was great the staff was so sweet just need a bigger place. Thank God for a place like this.
Very prejudice and likely racists people who work here. Assumed that we didn’t need assistance and assumed we have family to help and literally told us to find something to sell. Ruby stated we should talk with our management whom literally told us to ask them for assistance! She then lied and said you have to live in Irving 6 months. We’ve lived here since November.if I’m not mistaken May is 6 months, right? It’s just very rude. I’ve called multiple times and not one answer. Didn’t even care to refer anyone else even though they state they will. This is why people do not have hope because of prejudice people like them. Plus she said they don’t have the funds for assistance so just skip this place all together. Ruby…may God have mercy on you.
Amazing food pantry. I am waiting to see if I get help I need to find work, and housing.truly need them now
