Do not clean at all good enough, all rentals Cabin, dorms, I cleaned to deeply and I was let go.

Rooms are good for fishing cabins and lots of stuff to do for the kids. Fish were not biting, but I guess that's not their fault.

The staff is nice, as well as the view of course. But the swim section of the lake keeps getting smaller it seems year after year and is only about 3.5 feet deep at the furthest. It also has MANY spots with sharp leftover dock peices of wood and possibly center blocks in the swim area.someone will eventually get more than a stubbed toe.

We stayed 9 days this time and with all the cabins full their septic system just could not handle it. It was horrible yall! The smell just to sit outside on the porch was absolutely foul as it gets. Time to upgrade.

Beautiful place, very peaceful. Heated pool, Mini golf, Volleyball, Renovated bathhouse, Onsite laundry.also it's on the lake how could anything ever be better. Day passes, tent camping, FHU sites and cabins available. Come check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Most lake resorts these days are owned by corporate type people who are out of touch with reality and ruin the whole lake experience for the little people. DEFINITELY NOT at this place! Awesome service awesome experience! They recently purchased new Roku TVs to go with there updated Wifi. One had not been installed in our cabin yet so we called and they installed on almost immediately! Fire rings by the cabin? No problem they accommodated us immediately. They have a huge pier for fishing (and most places dont allow fishing on the piers) and also a designated swimming area. What i find most appealing is how they cater to you and you family enjoying your stay and having a true experience at the lake just like it was when i was a kid! I hope this place stays in business for many years to come and my family will patronize this place many more times! 5 Stars

The people are nice enough. The place seems like it used to be cool for families, and it appears they're at least redoing the mini golf. You can find the fine print on the website that says the pics aren't necessarily representative of the current condition. They're not joking. Nothing in this place looks like the pics. The sites are right on top of each other so theres hardly any room to set up outside our camper. The sewer hookup for the site next to us was 3 feet from the picnic table. It's hard to tell what goes to which site. 1/2 the sites don't have fire rings or picnic tables. It was worth a shot, but with all the other great parks in Texas, we likely won't be back.

Stayed there for a Kayak tournament. The staff was great and very helpful.the room was comfortable with cold A/C, good water heater, coffee maker, microwave and TV.

Nice, clean RV park on the shores of Lake Houston. Heavily wooded camp, level sites big enough for A classes and 5th wheels. Roomy clubhouse that held our RV club meeting.

Spent three nights here for a kayak fishing tournament. I found the facilities to be excellent and the folks running the place were extremely easy and nice to deal with. I had no cell signal but the campground has fiber optic WiFi, which made staying in touch with family easy. My site was clean and level, always a plus. Great fishing!

Resort accommodated our kayak bass fishing tournament. Was excellent! Great location to launch, nice new docks, super friendly staff and long dog park so my dog could really run and catch a frisbee. Thank you all very much! We'll definitely be back.

What a wonderful, relaxing and fun stay!

Property is under new management and the improvements are quite visible! From a total renovation of the bathhouse, to the installation of state of the art wifi system, the newly stained and treat boat dock, and the friendly and kind staff!

Our four day stay with friends at this picturesque and peaceful campground is just what we needed! Can’t wait to return!

The park is now under New management and they're trying to work out all the kinks. It's an older park and a little hard to find.

Customer Service: absolutely horrible! Staff is unavailable (office was closed our entire stay- the number left on the door to call if you needed something didn’t work). When someone finally did show up in the office, they stayed for 15 minutes. They were extremely unprofessional and rude when we attempted to address our concerns. Maintenance and ground staff were not any better; unprofessional and rude.

Room: We stayed in a kitchenette that slept 7 however, the room did not accommodate 7 people. There were 3 bath towels and 3 wash rags. The shower head did not work. When my husband told maintenance, they handed him another shower head and told him to change it. The kitchen did not have new kitchenware as advertised. There were 3 pots to cook with, no paper towels or dish towels and only two trash bags. While we were there, maintenance decided to paint our door, very inconvenient with 4 kids. Tv did not work.

Amenities: This was our biggest complaint considering it’s the only reason we chose to stay at this “resort”. BEST ADVICE call before you confirm reservations to make sure all amenities are open and functioning. Online pictures and advertisement are extremely misleading (I will post pictures of reality).
Paddle boats- dirty, full of spiderwebs and bugs.
Splash pad- (is closed in the off-season, although this is not stated online)
pool- broken
Basketball court- small, full of leaves and tree branches
mini golf- full of leaves/tree branches (we had to sweep off with a broom), broken wood and overgrown weeds
Park store, bait shop, hunt brothers pizza, restaurant, minnow room, clubhouse, community bathrooms all closed during our entire stay (none of which was stated prior to our arrival).

Lastly, be careful of unstable bins buried in the ground. My son was running to our kitchenette and fell in this tote (see pictures).

This place has magic built in the bones! The improvements happening by new ownership and management are phenomenal

It's good but if u order a room in advance make sure to call them a day before so they remember to get your key in the box.

Ashley and the rest of the staff were very accommodating. It was a welcoming vibe.
I went kinda mid tier cabin for myself and a friend.
The bed was comfortable and clean.
I was going to soak in hot water in the bathtub which appeared clean but there turned out to be some weird residue all in the water which grossed me out.
The mini golf course was neat but was in much need of trimming and cleaning and maybe a new paint job.

I spoke with Ashley, she stated that "the resort will be seeing alot of improvements, I am ecxited" as she was giving me a tour of the place from a golf cart.

I must say, some of those cabins are beyond luxurious.

The food was really good

The paddle boat things are old and covered in spiders and are not included in the "all amenities included" policy. They were $20/hour rentals.

All in all, it was aight. Might go back in a few years to see what the progress is.
