Bakery Croissant-Brioche reviews
20They were very busy which is a good sign of a good bakery. Was not disappointed. The spinach quiche was delicious and generously sized portion!
This is a great place to have a cup of coffee and satisfy your sweet tooth, the owner Johnny is warm and cordial
The best bakery in Houston? My mom is a very picky person but this cake made her day to be more special I will always get the birthday cakes for my family from here
If you want authentic French brunch or pastries, definitely recommend this place. I had a ham sandwich with a baguette and the baguette didn’t disappoint. They make the bread right there. I also had a tiramisu and it was delicious and not as sweet as other places make them. Very good. Will definitely be back for more
Went there to enjoy a pastry with my 2 year old son and found a rude staff. This is not a family friendly place. Just 5 min after being there one of the hostess came to the table telling me to turn off the little truck my son was playing with because it was loud and was disturbing people. First of all, it is little truck for a 2 yr old kid, how loud could it really be? Second, nobody around me told me anything. People around us were talking and laughing minding their conversation, nobody cared about the sound of this toy.
If this place is considered a library just say toddlers are not welcome. Really not a family friendly place. Never have been told to take away a toy from a kid in a caffè.
Croissant-Brioche is my dearest breakfast places. I’ve never ordered something from their menu that is anything short of delicious. Also, their tiramisu is to die for.
This was a cute little cafe with French type pastries. The staff was very friendly and the place had a cool vibe. You could taste their pastries were made with quality ingredients.
Awesome croissant and brioche as the name suggests as well as other baked goods. French casual looking atmosphere perfect for weekend breakfast.
Cozy atmosphere, very friendly staff and delicious food and drink! A lovely little spot for a date or lunch!
My SO and I have been here probably 25+ times by now, and we always enjoy our visits! The food options include freshly-made hot and cold sandwiches, quiches, soups, and salads. They also have various coffees and beautiful cakes+pastries. Also - fresh bread! Everything is delicious.
It occasionally gets a bit crowded, but we've somehow always been able to find a seat. There's dedicated non-metered parking out front as well.
Stopped by after lunch still managed to fulfill the tastebuds with some desert and my friend had croissant everything we bought tasted perfect…
The almond croissants and pastries in general are amazing. The people are very bubbly and friendly, and there's nothing like coming here for an early morning coffee and croissant. I wish I had found this spot sooner.
Great coffee, beautiful croissant and amazing service! You won't be disappointed!
New favorite
I have adored this small French bakery for many years. Their baguette and fresh bread are only matched by their impressive pastries. C'est tres bon!
This place is one of my top favorites and I realized I had never left a review. I always get a large cappuccino, salami croissant with melted cheese and both sauces and croissants to go.
The staff is always friendly and great baristas as well. When you order at the counter, you can’t miss seeing all the fresh desserts they make. I’ve tried a couple and I’ve loved each one.
I drive from Spring to go there now, speaks for itself how good this place is.
Extremely unpleasant and rude staff. Delicious food. But it's not worth the staffs rudeness and hostility. NO smiling. It looks like they hate you for coming there.
I was in and out (we aren’t going going to count the few minutes I needed to choose). The staff was super friendly and answered my questions. Italian cream cake and cheese cake are wonderful. The tart is good but if I go back I think I would try something else.
Update: Now no longer eating in my car and in the comforts of my own home I can say the Italian cream is heavenly and I could not recommend it enough!
I stopped by Croissant-Brioche because a friend recommended it to me. Today was my first experience with them, so maybe I'll have a better experience in the future.
However, my current verdict of this cafe-bakery is that it is certainly underwhelming and unfortunately, I wouldn't come back here on my own.
To start with, for a place literally called "Croissant-Brioche", the croissants are incredibly mediocre. I got the chocolate croissant and a palmier. The chocolate croissant was just sad. Not flaky, not buttery, and almost tasted like a grocery store pastry. While tasty, the palmier tasted a day old and borderline stale.
My sister and I also ordered an iced soy vanilla latte and a chai tea latte. Both were also a bit disappointing. The chai tea latte was too spiced and a bit too sweet, while the vanilla latte was watered down and the espresso itself was not tasty and lacked depth.
Overall, while Croissant-Brioche wasn't horrible, I feel like I'd be better off getting coffee and pastries from another local cafe rather than struggling in traffic and parking to pick up some mediocre goods.
We were stuffed from having lunch but still found room in our hearts or stomachs for dessert.
