Crossfire Cafe, Hamilton TX

Great steak and sides. Service was great. I eat here every time I'm in town. Probably one of the best steaks I've had in Texas.

This MUST be on everyone's bucket list! Set in beautiful Hamilton county Texas hill country nestled inside a top notch arena, the food is amazing. The staff from the lady at the front who greets n seats to our waitress the beautiful Alina with that huge sweet Texas size smile, I highly recommend. We are absolutely going to be regular guests.no more like family. P.s. When you are done enjoying your meal go outside and enjoy the balcony and the creek or maybe catch some rodeo action or just sit at the bar and relax.

Crossfire Cafe and Cantina is an oasis that Hamilton is fortunate to have. Chef John uses quality engredients and perfectly prepares the meats to order. I also appreciate there are local wines paired with the meals. Best of all, the kids can swim or rope or shoot hopes in a safe environment while the adults enjoy themselves!

Claimed to be the best steak in 4 counties. Absolutely not the case. I ordered the 20 oz.porterhouse medium rare. Had to send the first steak back as the first bite tasted like a salt shaker. Second steak should have been a 12 string guitar. Got tired of trying to cut the steak. It was so stringy. Definitely not a $42 steak. Service was ok other than having to wait forever to get the check and then having to wait even longer to bring my card and reciept back. The fried pickles were good but would be nice to mention that they fry a whole jar of pickle spears. It’s way too much for just 2 people. It would be better if they offered half orders.

The food was excellent. The waitress and the rest of the employees were just awesome. Had a great time! And definitely will return.

Arrived was very busy tonight was told there would be a 20 30 min wait. We didnt mind waiting was given a disk (lights up when your table was ready) we waited an hour before asking if we would ever be seated and was told would be 20 or 30 mins. Told the lady that we had been waiting around an hour. I can understand the place was busy. I just didn't appreciate the i dont care how long you been waiting attitude. Very disappointed cause the food is actually decent there. The service tonight or lack of ruined this place for us. We left and ate elsewhere where we were greeted seated and served.
