Customer service is horrible. The receptionist is very condescending, rude, not polite at all. My entire family has spent a lot of money on frames. The doctor is fine but the receptionist will make you want to leave. Apparently if you’re not caucasian, you will be treated that way. I would rather spend my money elsewhere. If you’re paid to be in customer service you should do your best to treat people fairly and with kindness and patience. Otherwise she is in the wrong job.

Let me preface this review - the eye doctor I saw, the gentleman who checked me out, & the young lady in the scrubs that brought me to the back for my appointment were all absolutely lovely. 10/10 would highly recommend them.

It’s unfortunate that the older woman at the front desk (I think she‘s the Office Manager?) is extremely rude, condescending & unempathetic. The impression I got from the way in which she spoke to me, was that she doesn’t like people, doesn’t care about her job, or both. Her actions reflect on the entire establishment & its team - to the point where I debated cancelling the appointment from the waiting room & never returning.

Mind you - this was my 1st time at this location, but I have been a patient of MyEyeDr for many years so not new to this brand. Her interaction with me was my 1st impression of this location & it was awful.

The doctor was nice- but the staff could have been better. I was told some snarky comments my second time in. A man seemed very lazy, and did not want to help me through the phone. I like going to my eye doctor, but this location needs more respect for their clients.

Very disappointed in the way they disclose costs. We did not have insurance and tried to get support for cash (out of pocket). We were charged the same amount as anyone with insurance and we were surprised by additional charges not shared over the phone. Also, I attempted to contact the location multiple times to address the costs and have them research some market insurance programs to see if they would be worth the money. After several attempts, we did not receive a response and had to make our own decision. Then, we got the bill and surprised by the nickel and diming of various fees. Recommend you shop around for other options. We will not return.

I made an eye appointment for my son for 3/14/23. I called a few weeks ahead to schedule an appointment. I asked about the $199 exam + contacts offer. At first, the manager stated that this deal only was for 6 months of contacts, I then called back and told her to look online which states an annual supply of contacts.which then she acknowledged. I took my son in for the exam for contacts and I said I wanted the $199 exam+contacts offer that was online. The checkout person said that's only for Biofinity lenses. So my concern is that I was charged $199 for the exam despite not getting any contacts. The optometrist prescribed Bausch & Lomb Ultra lenses which were not part of this $199 offer. This is very deceptive and almost like a bait-and-switch operation. If the B&L lenses were not part of the offer then I would understand if the price of the exam only would be half that or at least only $100 as the Biofinity annual lenses are almost the same price as the B&L lenses.

The staff here are amazing! They know their stuff. I’m so happy the staff goes in detail about the copays here. Most places just tell you what you are paying instead of going in detail. The doctor goes into detail about the eye exam and the health of the eye. He finally has a wonderful staff and he talks about how proud he is of them. Please go to this place and get a proper exam and health of the inside of the eye.

I really like Dr. Sylvester, talks a little too much at times but it’s all good, because it’s about entertaining stuff. However, his front office staff could really work on their uptightness. From the moment you walk in, attitude. When you check out at the counter, more attitude. I don’t take it personally but it definitely ruins my experience that I purchase my glasses elsewhere, just so I don’t deal with them. My whole family also goes here, but again, we go here because Dr. Sylvester is a really great doctor and knows his stuff. So if you’re looking for a great eye doctor, go here. Just beware of the attitudes of the new front office assistant (didn’t catch her name), Brenna, and Kim.

I’ve been going to this place for years and it just feels like home. The staff is the friendliest ever and consistent with still working there. Pat is great at picking out my glasses and the Dr. Is so knowledgeable and stays current with his equipment. I am a forever customer!
