Crystal Inn, Sugar Land TX

I had an unpleasant experience at Crystal Inn. I was expecting a nice breakfast, but instead, I was served a muffin that was expired. When I questioned them about it, the only thing they offered me was a banana. It was extremely disappointing and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff was unhelpful and the service was terrible. I would not stay here again.

This is the second time I have stayed there and the last. I have stayed in two different rooms and the bathroom faucets in neither of them worked. It's a good thing that they have a functioning faucet in the kitchen area, if you want to call it that. It's a great location and the rates are good. Also, the male front desk manager is something I can't say on here, but believe me, it isn't complimentary.

First, the guy at the desk is rude and uncouth.

My business partner wanted an early check in because he had been working through the night. Also, he was going to check out at 930pm the same day. He was told he had to pay $25 extra.
When i told the front desk this was our first time and if he could give us a courtesy early check in.he indicated we should have read the check in and out times (which we did but knowing since we run a business too sometimes relationship building is important for sustained cash flow we might have gotten a pass).
These guys need to learn its not what you say but how you say it.

The irony is after this uncouth behavior he proceeded to pray. REALLY?

We will NEVER use this facility again.

I called this location yesterday evening to inquire about a room available for downstairs for my elderly mother and I. The woman whom answered the phone was VERY RUDE. She asked me with a attitude tone of voice and yelled, "Why do you need downstairs!? How old are you? " I began to explain, well my mother. AND SHE HUNG UP ON ME!
I called back and a man answered the phone and I explained i was just rudely hung up on and I am in need of a downstairs room. He said "Sorry we no have any available downstairs"
That's understandable but your parking lot is almost always empty especially as we called while driving by.

Nice quiet area where not all lot of noise and disturbing guests. I love how the room was designed and the bathroom shower was my favorite how it was designed. You most definitely get more than what you pay for. The coffee qas fresh and hot not coffee that's old.
The guys in the front office lobby was nice. I most definitely will stay again for when in need of hotel.

My husband and I love this place! 2yrs ago we stayed 2 nights while a pipe at home was being fixed and ended up making this place our little getaway. We visit Crystal Inn whenever we need some "US" time.the rooms are always clean and comfortable the front desk staff are always friendly and never price is very reasonable.they have great customer service in person and over the phone. After bad luck with other hotels that are on the same street.literally mins away from each other but they are more expensive and offer poor quality rooms and service such as OYO on Katy freeway close to hwy 6 S no fridge no microwave front desk takes phone off its horrible and Regency Inn on HWY 6 close to Bellaire.clean rooms but the woman who mostly runs the front has horrible customer service and

Great accommodation, great service, great attention to detail, great attitudes from staff with genuine smiles, which makes for a great recommendation for a great experience.

The ground-floor suite had cockroach near the head of one of the bed mattresses. We informed the hotel staff at once. Their promise to solve the problem (fumigate the room) was NEVER fulfilled after three days. Also, you could hear all the noises from other rooms, especially upstairs after 10pm and early morning hours, surrounding your suite.

Very affordable prices for the 2 bed suite, rooms were very nice and clean. The shower was very nice too.

Charged me 105 for a room listed for $65. Took my friend here after a long night of traveling. She fainted in the shower. When I called the EMS the front desk called my room very upset in the midst of trying to talk to EMS I was being scrutinized by the front desk for calling EMS. “Why did you do that? Why did you bring her here if she is sick? Come to the front desk when they leave” he fussed. I left my room for a few hours to make sure she was ok and when I came back my door was wide open and things were moved/missing. The guy at the front desk kept defending himself and didn’t help me at all. Even a 2 star hotel can empathy and understanding. Happily over charged me and took my money with no apology for mistreating us.

The rooms are as advertised in the picture, but I can't give any higher review. Upon arriving, my room had a roach in it. Not the bug kind, and I immediately reported it so I wouldn't be held accountable. My room was switched quickly. But that was all. Then my 2nd night my key stopped working. And I had to again go to the desk to get it to work again. It was an over all good stay if you just need a place to sleep I guess.

Nice, quite and clean. The stools in the room that set at the little desk are a little uncomfortable and the thing they call a couch is so low to the floor you can't climb up out of it. I'd give the place a 4.8

Amazing. Was a little skeptical at first but the rooms do look exactly like the pictures! Shower was incredible!

The staff was trying too steal my phone that I left in the room. Luckily I had a other and called it was in the clean ladys pocket was all nerves when I confronted her!

Very kind individuals. Helpful, involved in the service of the environment & the cleanliness of the rooms. Very clean & modern inside. Near to restaurants, fast food, stores, & gas stations. I highly recommend! #120

Owner comes up to my car asking me why am I waiting in his parking lot when we pay $70 every week here so rude then yells while are you black mailing me when I ask him is it illegal to be here parked waiting on my husband to bring money for the room

Umm.the shower experience alone is worth 5 stars! The owners were friendly and accommodating, plenty of parking, rooms are nicely appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend, and will stay here again!

My gosh I got a room here for my birthday weekend and I enjoyed my room. Not gonna even lie I was taking showers for no reason. It was comfy and reasonable.

This place has great showers and was way nicer as an extended stay than any of the other places around. Will definitely stay here again on my next business trip.

I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel. Since it isn't a chain I wasn't sure what to expect. It was very clean and modern. It had a full kitchen and the shower was amazing. It was large enough for the two of us to shower together and it has 3 shower heads. One that rains from above and two that come out of the wall. There is a laundry on site and they had an iron to loan us. There was hairdryer in the bathroom. The woman that worked in the lobby was very nice. Her parents owned the hotel. We will definitely stay there again if we find ourselves in Sugar Land again.
