Definitely wouldn’t recommend this center to your friends and family. They are very under staffed and the line is always to the door. It always seems that that the staff are always talking and not working. The staff are loud ghetto, and disrespectful. They lied to plenty of people to give a good review in return of a little bit of money. I will never come back here. I went in the restroom and there was pee all over the floor and all they did was place a no slip sign on the floor. Didn’t even bother to clean it up. With that being said. DONT COME HERE

Been in line an hour. 4 techs working. 30 people in line. Customer service is rude. I asked for crackers she tells me they don’t have that many to give out. I asked for a Gatorade and they don’t have that many to give out. 4 techs are standing in the front joking offering skip line passes to leave and come back tomorrow to donate because they want to go home. It’s sad. The only reason why I am here is so that I can give the second time so my first time is not a waste.

CSL-this was my 2nd time giving CSL a fair chance however again I was met with an unprofessional staff that intentionally neglected protocols and guidelines. Huge compliance issue that put safety and health of patient at risk.

I do have partial video recordings.

The tech, used an improper venipuncture technique. The blood pressure cuff is used as a tourniquet, however she did not put enough pressure for it to act as proper tourniquet. The pressure of the cuff during the venipuncture "sticking" is suppose to be around 100mmHg, she put it at 75mmHg. I do have this on video of the screen.

This low pressure caused my blood to gush and splatter out of my veins. This can have long term impact on the veins and the body too.

Blood is not suppose to splatter and gush out when you insert the needle inside, when a proper tourniquet technique is used. Now I have swelling and pain—not even considering the long-term consequences.

Extremely rude staff/ intentionally using improper technique-which caused me to start recording as a huge risk for safety was concerned.

I felt uncomfortable for my secret due to a direct result of her poor technique.

They told me I'm apparently not allowed to take videos-however there are surveillance cameras everywhere and I’m being recorded so I too started recording for my safety. And I was told to leave. I repeatedly told them that please answer my questions, and they did not and that I felt uncomfortable.

Can someone tell me how they will compensate me for this extremely rude unprofessional repeated incidences.

I am on the verge of reporting this facility/consider legal action.

The tech, and the manager needs to be dismissed/or suspended and retrained. They knew the proper and neglected to have personal integrity and risk patients safety.

They discriminate and are biased towards who they like/don’t like and fail to perform their duties with responsibility and moral integrity.

There were many staff on stand by—just chit-chatting.

That lady in the blue scrubs was going to mess up the entire process—she had malice intent and was going to not follow the Guidelines set for the machine for plasmaphoresis. She was refusing to give me any numbers and refusing answer any of my questions. I’m so glad I started recording because that would be evidence (I do have some video clips). I’m glad I left. She was intent on doing serious harm.
Some people from prison get hired. Not sure about her background.

If your in this facility please make sure to ask/write down/take pictures of. I only have the first number because I left early due to huge concern for my safety. The rest were from my research—make sure you do your own.

Cuff pressure: Venipuncture: (Stick) Should be around (100mmHg)

I was put on 75 to 86mmHg -which caused basically a no tourniquet affect.l that can have long term consequences.

Cuff pressure: Blood draw:
***not as high for proper blood flow

Blood return: no pressure

Blood Draw Speed:
(80ml/min)

Blood Return Speed:
(80/90ml/min)

Are they changing their gloves?
Are they sterile technique? Isopropyl alcohol applied?

Many were just chit-chatting and lounging around. Only 5 beds out of the 30 were utilized while we had a huge line outside.

I do not recommend coming here, it's now 830pm and I've been waiting since 530pm, this place is under staffed and some that could be lending a hand are just standing around. Don't come here unless you have the power to shut this place down.

This place takes advantage of the people needing the money, they move supper slow like it’s not a line out the door, talk to people so rude, don’t answer the phone. No one at the desk, 1 person checking vitals. I know why they put it in this area but the service suck & people get treated badly if you couldn’t tell from the other reviews. DONT COME HERE, this place needs to be closed simply based on the customer services and lack of workers

There's always something wrong with this place like it's either closed for multiple days or they just don't have a running system and they won't tell anybody about it it's crazy plus there be like on or maybe 2 people doing a screening plus alot of the machines are never used

My experience at this facility was a treat! I would say mainly due to the associate by the name of Brittany. She was a doll; very kind, considerate, respectful, calm (i.e, keeping us calm and relaxed during the initial process) and just an overall angel sent from God! She was thoroughly and kindly helping my spouse and I achieve our first time donation work to the best of her abilities! And that’s a win-win in my book! I appreciate when others keep in mind to treat others the way they want to be treated and placing the customers’ needs before themselves, as that is how it should be! In the end, between my spouse and I, I was the only one who donated and as I went through the process step-by-step it also went smoothly. The other associates involved in the following steps were Dia, Denise, and Tyler. And they too, were of great assistance to me, as well as friendly and personable, which is also a plus in my book! Now, in the process of donating, Tyler was also a blessing from God! He was incredibly calm, polite, and had the most gentle touch as he was performing his usual, professional procedures involving the donation. In addition, he frequently checked on me and made sure I was doing great. The seats and the room was also very calming, soothing, and the time went right by due to a gentleman who initiated great conversation. I had a blast, and it appears the others involved in conversation did as well! And after 53 minutes, I ended up being the last donor of the night. I cannot thank the associates who were directly involved with me enough for their time (i.e, staying late past usual hours of operation) and services in the end! I left happy, satisfied, and not in much pain for my first time donating! My spouse and I will be returning and expect to receive this same service and treatment that we had received each time we come in. Also take note, stupendous customer service and people skills will get you far in life. Though, in other words be sure to, “Treat people the way you want to be treated; that is, with respect and kindness, and be sure to represent the business remarkably well. ” And some people in this facility must grasp this and improve on this tremendously. Additionally, due to clients observing and having the ability to interpret their experiences via writing in online review (s). Though, keep up the excellent work you all! You are very dedicated to your work, some of you are outstanding professionals who are helpful and are attentive to your clients’ needs which is the most important golden nugget in all careers; while this one is particularly significant because you’re also working to save many lives! Lastly, I think your jobs in the back performing the donation procedures are pretty cool, and you all look official in white lab coats! Thanks a lot, and God bless CSL Plasma! We shall return, and are looking forward to more grand experiences. Also be careful with needle placements and be especially critical about this!

Take care,
Barbara and Brock

This place is a joke! For the last few days I’ve been trying to donate. I went to the EastTex fwy location around 3pm and there was a sign up stating they were already closed for the day. The next day I call a different location with legitimate questions and I get put on hold for over 20 minutes! I hang up, call back and now I’m getting a busy signal! I’m trying to donate! They sure do make it hard!

The staff have been great at this location. The main problem i deal with people that know how to ask questions at the front desk and for some unknown reason want to argue with the vitals stations about things like the referral program or the pay scale. If you have questions about anything how about you wait at the front desk so people that don't have anything to ask can move through the process smoothly? Be aware if you go to this location no one knows where to go to save time.

Severely understaffed. Low employee morale. No employees show up to work here. Look at the long line and there’s several people behind me.

Note to corporate: please pay the employees more so people will work here. Houston 274 is poorly managed.

Update # 1 - Attaching pic of the reduced hours. Here is proof the place is crumbling due to mismanagement. The hours are “temporarily” reduced. No one wants to come to work

Update # 2 - Attaching pics of my arms. You’re at the mercy of people that make $13 an hour. Look what they did to my arms and because of their mistakes, I am deferred (banned) for 8 weeks. Not enough staff, several machines down… horrible experiences. If you want to waste time and kill a day, go right ahead.

They sent me a offer to get $25 dollars, but just because; they got played! They didn't have time to pay me, after, I waited three hours to be served! Now I have to wait another day to go up their to be played
