CubeSmart Self Storage, Austin TX

My experience began with Jonathan, the Store Manager.in the North Austin, TX location. From the initial point of contact until I ended my contract, the service that Jonathan gave was top-of-the-line. In descriptive terms.genuine, professional, attentive, very service minded and great listener. There were a couple of times that I called and received great service from other staff members. To me it's a sign of an all-around professional team with great leadership. The facilities were also very clean, temp controlled, conveniently located and I felt very safe as there are monitoring cameras throughout.and all for a very reasonable rate that surprised me given all the benefits. Although I ended my contract because I no longer needed it, I will definitely revert back to the CubeSmart storage team. It was a great experience!

It was clean and well maintained. The management was consistent so I knew who I was speaking with if I had to call or stop by the office. The management team was helpful and knowledgeable as well as given us sound advice on everything I needed help with. There was no hard sell on any product, just helpful suggestions. Was happy to have this team as my first experience with self storage.

I COMPLETELY RECOMMEND CUBESMART they have a great team in the office, great move-in specials, safe and clean facility, and it's indoors with A/C so moving in the summer time is not that bad.

The Mgr was really helpful and friendly, give me all the information patently as I was a first timer renting a storage unit and was totally clueless on everything.

CubeSmart (this specific location) decided it was a good idea to increase rates mid pandemic + financial crisis. I can only assume that decision came after a lengthy internal discussion about why business ethics are important in developing loyalty from customers. After which they laughed and upped rates. When I called to discuss it I was brushed off and told that it was "out of their hands". Way to be one of those companies that shows your customers and the rest of the world that CubeSmart really only cares about their bottom line, not their customers. Way to make 2020 better!

The reason for a single star:
Great facility. It's brand new and has everything I need to keep my stuff safe and dry. I was even able to get insurance for the unit through CubeSmart without any hassle.

Staff super is helpful and polite. Having a bathroom on every floor is amazing. I've never had to wait for a dolly, they are plentiful. All the things you need in a storage facility at a resonable price. I really appreciate this company. If it were closer I would stay. Thanks you Cube Smart.

The facility are spotlessly clean, the billing is easy to navigate, and the staff is always very helpful and friendly.

Brand new super nice, clean, and secure facility! Always parking near the door, and plenty of hand carts to help bring your stuff to and from your unit. Jonathan helped me and was nothing short of amazing! Very knowledgeable and personable, and super friendly despite me coming in just before it was time for him to close.

Mary is AMAZING! Top notch customer service and hospitality, great prices, super clean and continent access. You can’t go wrong here!

I was extremely impressed by the level of customer service at CubeSmart. From the ease of use at the website to the follow up email to the phone call that answered all my concerns and questions. What impressed me most was the consummate service. Mary was opening the lobby door as soon as I got out of my car. Both she and Jonathan greeted me like I was a friend. Mary was great at explaining everything and showed no signs of impatience or condescension, taking all the time I needed. Mary escorted me to the unit and greeted my son and helper with the same kindness she did me. The entire experience was made easier and better than I expected and the service was extraordinary. I am usually very stressed by events that take me out of my routine. Thank you!
