My best friend came here to get tested for COVID-19, and she asked what all tests they had available. They said they could do a blood test and it takes 20 minutes to get results. So she did. She got tested 'negative' and they charged her 100 and that was that. She told me about it and I was amazed but also confused because I had never heard of blood testing. So my boyfriends roommate who works with COVID-19 testing plus finding a cure said "there is no such thing as blood tests". I was curious so I looked up COVID-19 blood tests and turns out the test is actually testing to detect antibodies and checks for is you've had the virus and are recovered.

"This FDA authorized blood test checks for a type of antibody called immunoglobulin G (IgG) that is the result of past or recent exposure to COVID-19, also known as the novel coronavirus  (this is not a test for an active infection).  "

This excerpt is from a very trusted source, and I sent this to my friend. She then called the clinic and a lady answered and said that the blood test is in fact a test for COVID-19. So basically this clinic is lying about COVID-19 testing plus over charging for the antibodies blood test.

Dr. Mendez is awesome doctors! I love the quality of there service they provide for their patients, they listen and take the time to understand your needs. They are the best doctors in Garland. I have and will continue to recommend them to all my close friends and family because they are in good hands with these guys. Been a patient for years and will continue to be for many years to come.

Happy to know that Dr. Leovares Méndez is back! I’ve been a patient for over 7 years and as always Dr. Leovares is very attentive, he took the time to understand what I needed and went over my health history to find the best treatment for me.

If you are a former clien you know Dr. Mendez is great Doctor, so it is a good time to come back and renew your relationship with the clinic and your Doctor.

And If you do not have insurance this is time to see a great doctor for a pretty affordable price.

I’ve gone to this clinic and have never complained. Sure the wait is a bit long but the dr is always so nice. Today was by far the best service yet. This is the go to for me all the time.

They lock the doors before ten and they let people in still! I am feeling horrible and I’m tired of clinics turning me away. This is my clinic and they didn’t even bother opening the door while I was standing there. I’ve seen multiple people come in after me and they open the door for them. This just ain’t right!

They do not honor appointment time! Waist of time, lack of professionalism. Dr Peña a very nice person.

Horrible doctors they attend me an just tell me gibberish throw numbers in my face that dont mean anything. These doctors an hospital are frauds all they want is money.

Dr. Mendez has been my doctor going on 3 years. He is very attentive to me as a patient. For me it’s worth the time.

Yes, you will wait here even if you have an appointment. Yes it is first come first serve. Yes the front desk staff are short in conversation. Why? Because they are WORKING! Not only are they checking you in, checking your balance, verifying your insurance but they also have to answer the phones. This is a neighborhood clinic environment, I would presume it’s not the right setting for everyone. However, I don’t believe wait time is a reflection of the quality in care.

Dr. Mendez and Dr. Lid are amazing they make you feel comfortable and answer all of your questions.

SAVE YOUR MONEY. This is the worse doctor I have gone too, the front staff is so rude, and i had to wait 4 hours to be called in. I had appointment at 9 and it was 12 and still hadn't got called in. Ridiculous they don't respect the appointment times, people came in after me got called in before I did.

Look for other place to go. They give you an appointment for 9: 00 am and you can spend 2 hours waiting just to be called, then add another hour for the doctor to get with you. Terrible front office. I won't be back, there's plenty of places that are way more professional and they actually care about their patients and not the patients money.

This is the worst service ever the person at the front needs customer service kills, they take long even with a appointment they claims they take everyone who comes why even do appointment if we as people have things to do DONT WASTE TIME AND DONT COME HERE AT ALL find a doctor who actually does their job BBB is going to get a complaint on here

This place sucks even with an appointment you will wait 3 or more hours the front desk staff is so unprofessional don't even recommend this place to any body this is the worst doctors office I ever been in my life all the patient in the waiting room are really mad of the services and the employees just are plain rude and disrespectful to the patient needs in a few words don't came here for somewhere else were you be treated is a human been

Wow maybe i should have read the reviews before i schedule an appointment because i called to get an appointment and waiting for them to call me back and never got a call back so i called and lady in background was just rude. They sure had no problem takwn my health insurance info.

Be prepared to wait even if you have an appointment! Have never spent less than 3 hours here. Dr Pena is fine. What you would expect from an office visit but not extraordinary. Receptionists are robotic. Take your info and that's it. Not friendly and not willing to answer questions regarding wait times if it means they have to leave their chair. Overall no real complaints about care received. Customer service is severely lacking.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Staff is rude and they don't care about patients. Just awful.

Terrible place. One of the doctors does not care about his patients and is rude. A girl who was not a trained phlebotomist tried to draw blood and wasn't able to. Like I said, terrible. Save your time and money and find a place worth going to.

Excellent Service! Love the Doctors
My kids Pediatric is a wonderful Man listen to my concerns and gives you advice in how to take of them, Yes! Sometimes you have to wait! But if you get early you will be one of the first ones to leave. FYI if you need to go on a Saturday they open at 7: 30 you better be there before 7 to be one of the first in line.
