CVS, Rowlett TX

Just visited the pharmacy and the pharmacist helped me properly use the GoodRx app and filled my prescription within about 10 mins. No issues here.

The ability to have UPS packages delivered here to pick up later is a huge help in the age of porch pirates. If you've not tried it, do it.

A one star is way to much. I just left the CVS in Rowlett on Lakeview Pkwy. I visit this location at least once a week. I currently have the flu, and decided to go to the pharmacy to purchase some medicine a employee named Logan continued to integrate me regarding the medicine I was purchasing. I understand it’s there job to ask for ID he continued to ask me what my date a birth was when I already showed him my ID. When I proceed to call him out on it he began to be snotty and and have an attitude. It was already difficult to gather the strength to drive myself to CVS to get some medicine but to be treated this way in my own neighborhood is completely unacceptable.

Pharmacy is terrible. It took them 8 hours to fill a Zpack (only after i came to the store confused why it was taking so long when i could just grab them off the wall myself). And they tried to make me pay a "discounted" price instead of my copay for my meds because my caremark card was "out of date". This was news to me, and come to find out it was not out of date after driving back home. When i call them back, they tell me "oh yeah, we got it figured out, your prescription is ready for pickup".
AVOID this pharmacy if you can.

Worst pharmacy in North Texas. Go somewhere else. My wife my mother in law and myself will be taking our buisness elsewhere.

The pharmacy doesn’t care about people or their medications. After waiting more than 5 hours for a prescription to be ready, the tech said it was still not finished. When I asked her why when it had been submitted hours previously, she shrugged it off. Poor customer service, terrible wait, and piss poor attitudes from the pharmacy. I will be filing a complaint with their corporate offices.

Pharmacy is very slow. I have tried them several times thinking it was just that day, but it was not. Prescriptions are never ready when promised. The staff is not helpful. They are very understaffed. When I called today, I was left on hold for 27 minuets before I hung up, I Called back and was left on hold another 15 minutes. I went to the pharmacy to see why the prescription wasn’t ready and it was on back order. No one made an attempt
To contact me and let me know that it wasn’t In stock. Very poorly managed. Spoke to the store management and they said, “the lady you spoke to probably didn’t know what you were talking about. The pharmacist is just playing catch up. “ I won’t be using them again.

There is nothing redeeming about this pharmacy. We waited over an hour in the drive-thru and once we actually got to the window waited another 10 or 15 minutes while we watched the assistant carry my prescription around (she had already been given the money). Finally opened the window and asked if the cell phone they had for me was a good contact # and my husband said it didn’t matter that we would not be back because the service was so bad. She actually said that she didn’t care if we came back or not because she didn’t own CVS.

I have always had problems at this pharmacy not getting rx saying they have things ready and not having them. My favorite is the 20 minutes I have spent on hold with only talking to a person to be put on hold again. Then to wait there because they cant manage how to handle the amount of business. And by business I mean 1 at the drive thru and me at the counter. Though the staff is nice they just cant handle what is given to them

Store and employees are VERY nice.
But pharmacy is terrible. Dont bring your prescriptions here unless you have PLenty of free time to get jacked around. Theyll always have an excuse, but you wont get meds on first try

The worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Called and told script is ready, sow up and they can't find it. Drive through takes forever, inside is not much better. Avoid until something changes.

I went through the drive thru to drop off a prescription and the lady who I spoke with was very rude. I think her name was Olga or some Russian name. (not that it matters just trying to point the lady out). Told me it was gonna be an hour for my pick up I went inside just to verify the time and my prescription was ready in 5 minutes. Why did she tell me a hour? Thanks for a memorable experience lady

Received a text message stating that my prescription is ready for pickup; go to pick it up and the pharmacist states that I don't have a prescription period. Note: this is not the first time this has happened. Then she goes on and tells me that I go to varies CVS pharmacies and maybe my prescription is at another location. I explained to her that I just moved to the area and showed her the text message that they sent me telling me that my Rx is ready. She asked to see my phone and said "Well it said we tried to reach you regarding an issue, but issue has been resolved. " So I said, "If the issue has been resolved, then my prescription should be ready. And I never received a phone call stating there was a problem. " Point is: never got my prescription. This pharmacy is awful and the people working in it are rude and incompetent. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

It's a drug store. But the pharmacists are awesome, they get things done when needed, they'll call your doctor or insurance for you and find the drugs you need.
