CVS Pharmacy reviews
8I cannot endorse/recommend this CVS location enough! I have fairly complex pharmaceutical needs. The staff are communicative, over and above helpful navigating medication/dr/insurance/etc and just congenial, kind people. This is not my closest CVS, however, the staff alone keep me a committed customer. Five stars. +!
The two best pharmacist in Dallas are Nicole and Thy! They listen, they care, and always share information on your prescription. I have always appreciated their excellent customer service and professionalism! They are the BEST!
Thank you
I went the CVS to pick up my medicine today, and I noticed the insurance information was not correct. I told the staff (Nicole) to update my insurance, but she told me to hurry up because they were going to close. She was not patient and told me I have to either pay and leave or come back next day. She was very rude and loud. As a pharmacist, she was unprofessional.
Due to a nationwide shortage, I have been without my medication for over 2 months. I was told by a CVS employee at a different store that this specific location had my prescription in stock. When I called and explained to this store what my meds and dosage were, I was met with a clearly aggravated employee. They were annoyed because many people were calling the store for a similar medication. Like others, I was told they hadn't used up all the medication yet, but the pharmacist I was talking to said the store never got a shipment of that medication to begin with. After I relayed that I was told different information, they then backpedalled and said they already filled it which was fine. But then I wondered, which is it: you never had any to start with, or you used it all up? I'm not sure why I am being fed misleading information. Regardless, responding to someone's inquiry about their medication with such a judgmental tone is horrible practice. I understand that it is frustrating having to take calls and answer the same questions all day, but have you considered how annoying and embarrassing it is for the person who has had to call over 10 pharmacies and disclose personal information about their health to strangers? I hope that the pharmacists at this location do a better job of being more tactful in the future. It isn't the patron's fault if stores cannot communicate/track each other's inventory properly, so please don't take it out on the patron when they are just trying to find the medication they need to function properly.
There is a dangerous disconnect between what the website or app tells me and what the pharmacists tell me. Multiple months my prescription is put "In Process" and I call to confirm. I am then told by the pharmacist that will be ready at the boilerplate time of 14: 00. After waiting, the website eventually says "Out of stock" without any notification from the website or the pharmacist. I am then told to check with other CVS pharmacies to see if they have stock.
The problem with this is the other CVS pharmacies will not tell me if they have it in stock or not. Yet the website says "If you need your Rx today, contact your pharmacy to find a nearby location with your medication in stock. " It is wild how disconnected the pharmacists are from the information being given by CVS and it is also quite dangerous. This will be the fourth time now that I have had to suddenly stop a medication that has explicit instructions not to stop suddenly as serious side effects can occur.
CVS has become a baffling unprofessional and dangerous place to get medications from and I highly suggest researching others around your area as they do exist and quite possibly convey information to the customer far better. Do not place your health in the hands of CVS as it is clear they have not even read the very warning labels they plaster on their own medications.
All of the pharmacists are amazing. They answered all my questions and really care about customers.
The staff at this CVS is amazing. "T" (Tiy?) and Nicole have helped me on many occasions in getting difficult orders filled and advising when needed. Jacob is so professional, too.
The customer service at this CVS is amazing! The pharmacists are always friendly and go above and beyond with every interaction. I appreciate that they are always prompt to return a phone call and get your request done quickly.
