He just did a shoulder reduction, but he took a considerable amount of time to discuss my past shoulder surgeries and options going forward. I found him extremely personable, knowledgeable, and dedicated to his craft. I would highly recommend this surgeon.

Great doctor but under the circumstances with no insurance I could never finish my recovery for a broken ankle. He told me he would never turn me down because of no insurance but his office were demanding over 3, ooo.oo down for my third surgery.so right now I am waiting to see if parkland will do the surgery since at the time being I cant walk on my ankle.

This is the man to go and see for anything orthopedic. A revision of a total hip replacement took him 30 minutes to complete. Not only is that extremely experienced ability but also cut down on time an open wound could become infected. Hopefully we'll never have to see him again, but if we do, we'll know there will be expert care to look forward too.

Excellent surgeon. Wonderful bedside manner. Very well educated. Understands infections in replacement joints superbly. Read his biography!

I had developed compartment syndrome while waiting in the ER the same day that I was rushed there after breaking both of my legs. Due to threat of infection & possible amputation, my surgery was moved up immediately and Dr. Abbashian was assigned to my surgery.

I don’t remember much before my surgery as I was in severe pain & heavily medicated, but what I do remember is the feeling of peace when I saw Dr. Abbashian before surgery. It was like Jesus gave me two big thumbs up for this guy. That’s all I needed.

2 months later I am alive and have both of my legs, I was told I would make a full recovery and they would even be able to remove the plates and screws after about a year. I get to make my first steps again in about a month!

Dr. Abbashian, I am extremely thankful for you, you saved my life. Because of your great work I will be able to run with my 2 year old son again (one day soon), and to dance with the love of my life, my wife.
You have no idea how much the Father uses your hands for miracles.

Dr. Abbaschian is an outstanding surgeon! He saved my leg from amputation dude to MRSA infection I had from my hip to my ankle. Although a large percentage of muscles bone and tendon etc were completely infected and had to be removed he was able to reconstruct my leg so that not only would I have my leg it was fully functional and I could still walk. Dr Abbaschian has amazing skills and knowledge along with a calming personality and great bed side manor.

My 81 year old mother fell and broke her left hip in 2015, it got infected and she was referred to Dr. Abbaschian. He had to do multiple surgeries due to the infection, but eventually she was better, however her leg was several inches shorter than the other meaning she had to use a can. Fast forward to Sept 2020, she falls and breaks the same leg again. This time it's considered trauma. Dr. Abbaschian does the surgery and is able to put the longest peg possible in here leg and now she has no length discrepancy. She was in rehab for 3 months and refused to go to physical therapy immediately after release in Dec 2020. Finally, convinced her to go Feb 2021 and now she is working to rebuild the muscle so she can walk without a walker or cane. He is an amazing Dr. I highly recommend him.

Every time I called the 3 weeks I was on extended hold. Then when either they transferred me I was lost or after being asked numerous times to hold with not given time to respond before being dropped.
