D-BAT Baseball & Softball Academy Mansfield

We’ve been to multiple D-bats across 3 states. The range in quality is disappointing, with this location being the worst. There was only one cage set up for baseball and there weren’t enough balls to make it through two rounds. The machines were also all over the place, from brushing you off the plate to outside-black, to over your head. We ended up just leaving rather than using the rest of our credits. I will say, the staff were friendly.

A quick update about the response from the owner. There was no call from Jackson, the GM. D-bats didn't even have our phone number since it was a one-time trip there for us, from out of state.

Jake is amazing. I am coming back and have told my coach and everyone about him. They said they want to participate as well.

Each time I visit D-Bats of Mansfield, they always take care of me with excellent customer service.

Coaches were very friendly and knowledgeable. Both my children enjoyed each training and couldn't wait in next time. Only complaint is I wish they had q location close to me.

Pricing is still a little expensive, could be more reasonable there. Equipment, balls and helments, are a little dated, but overall I'm satisfied with D-Bats.

Our daughter has really grown since having lessons with Luis. He has been a phenomenal coach and mentor.

Newest news Sept 14th 2023: For over a year I have been double charged for a membership that was supposed to be canceled. $900+. Once I brought this to the attention of the manager, he contacted corporate/ regional manager because they limit his ability to rectify such situations, and they denied him the ability to refund all of the erroneous charges. Now I am pursuing other angles and very likely going to have an attorney to deal with this. I do not recommend this place they are one big mess with no customer service and a corporate office that never responds to any needs They do not care about anything but getting your money and once they have it no matter that they took it erroneously they will not return it. Go down the road to the Skills Center Training Facility on Turner Warnell on the border of Arlington instead.
D-Bat is terrible. Pitching machines are supposed to be fixed but aren't. Stray balls hitting kids because the machines and balls are trash (view picture). Broken machines. Take a very long time to get them back up and running. Broke again. Still concerning that it took so long to repair.
Months ago: Pitching machines are not functioning and have been down for a long while. So long that all three machines are no longer working. Asked the front desk and they blame corporate saying they put a ticket in for repair. Tried calling corporate but there is noone answering any of the extensions for over a month now. I will most likely be canceling membership since one of the biggest perks to the membership is batting cages. Don't use this facility unless you need an indoor place to play catch or use the tees.

D-Bat Mansfield has great facility and ran very well by James. Kids love going and always great staff to help with baseball questions if you need it.

Very friendly and professional staff. My son has worked with Izzy for the past year and worked with another coach before that and it has helped his game tremendously. I have always received great service and the GM accommodates our schedule changes without hesitation. Definitely a great place to work on your game.

Went on a Sunday, customer service was pretty bad, dude didn't know the prices of anything and once he found out, he kept trying to convince me to buy machine swipes after I stated multiple times that I just wanted to get tee work in. I wouldn't recommend this place

Overall the machines were mostly all not functional except one that only shot out softballs all of the machines looked old and would only shoot a couple after malfunctioning but I do think it’s a good place to practice it’s pretty big but it’s just the machines I think that are the problem.

Overall, not a bad location. The parking is pretty tight at times, especially during their busier hours. The staff is friendly and pretty knowledgeable when it comes to the one on one sessions (baseball). However, I’ve only been a member for a few months and on multiple occasions, they schedule a cage rental and/or a private lesson without telling me. It then falls on me to call and cancel what ever appointment THEY (the staff) scheduled without even consulting me, because if I don’t cancel, I get charged the price of the lesson/rental.

This has happened too many times and really starts to upset me to the point I’m considering cancelling my membership all together. They must really be hurting for money if they go behind members backs to schedule appointments hoping we don’t see the email and get charged the services anyway without knowing the service was scheduled.

Batting cages always on the fritz. One baseball. One softball. Staff are nice and try to help.
