An unassuming spot. Don’t let the faded paint fool you. This place has everything you need in a dive bar. Booze. Music. Character.

One of the best dives in town. Local watering hole. Please respect it and don't suggest they change anything.

I’ve been here a couple times and it’s a hit or miss, never know if the bartender or the owners are in a good mood or having a bad day. Trying to support local and sometimes it’s just not worth the rudeness. I would love to have better experiences here though, specially since it’s been part of the community for a really long time and it’s been named one of the top dive bars.

D&W been around along time, Eastside Houston in 2 nd ward, great bands, great booze, great service every visit.

This place is pretty cool. First time in here tonight (Sa) for karaoke. This is a beer/wine bar. You can bring your own liquor and they'll sell you setups.
Tina the barkeep and Stony the karaoke jock were both super cool.

I came in to visit from Chicago and didn't have any issues. Yes it was a local bar, but the locals were friendly. Low-key vibes.

I really like this spot. Cool little dive bar. No liquor, beer only. Cheap. I wouldn't say super clean However, out of the 4 times I have been, there literally something going down everytime. And not good things. And I always get caught by a train. It's not my favorite place, but I still like it every once in a while.

If you're looking for vibrant, fun, local bar then this place will hit the spot. The beer selection was huge and well priced. Plenty of cool things all over the wall to strike awe and conversations.

What could have been a great story was ruined by a.fella who needed too much attention bartenderss cool anyway

Yea, the place was a hole in the wall. Met a beautiful goddess named Catherine there. Smart as a whip, and beautiful as Venus. Yet it's a locals bar, and of course I'm not a local so, of course when you bring something to the table that is not offered there like good looks and intriguing conversation the women tend to flock towards you and the local dirt backs don't like that, even the female bartender was being rude, don't know why, maybe cause I wasn't hitting on her. I would not recommend this bar at all. I will return thou to look for Catherine. She was a fine specimen of the female persuasion.

Not worth the drive. Service lacks it's understaffed and at times rude. One restroom for the men one restroom for the ladies very inconvenient! For an establishment that needs serious updating inside and out I would consider reasonable drink prices. Instead I find better drink prices in the Clearlake area.

Every time I go here I am welcomed with old and new friends from the past and present. Sitting around drinking buckets of beers and staring at the awesome view of downtown Houston. This Eastside hang out is a must to go to. Chat with the locals and get the feel of old Houston like it used to be!

Small little dive bar, has a decent selection of beers. Have karaoke nights.being there you want to look at the walls you always find something interesting

I can't believe i havent rated this place. Keith and Mary are awesome! I bring family and friends here to introduce them to what East End in Houston actually is!
