Dairy Burger, Alice TX

I haven't been to Dairy Burger in over a year. They still didn't disappoint. They still took OVER 50 minutes for my call ahead order of fried burritos, crispy dogs and chalupas! Thanks Dairy Burger! You haven't changed a bit! Terri

Good food. Service. Not so good. Tea is Great. Atmosphere needs something to bring people in and keep people in for at least a little while like music or television. Personally I've been going here for years (as most of you who live in Alice) and I can't recall anytime there has been more than 3 or 4 tables occupied.

The food honestly seems to be lower quality than even somewhere like McDonalds, strange grainy crust on fried foods, somewhat dry meat, squashed onion rings flattened by the burger on top, excessive amounts of cheese on their mexican food, but in terms of tastes it's still ok.

Every time I pass through Alice, Texas. I need to pick up a Large Steak Strip basket with spicy fries for the road! I also grab me a 20oz cup of their salsa to take back home with me to New Braunfels, Texas for later! Gotta mix the salsa and gravy together before dipping the steak strips! This is so good! The staff working the registers were very kind and pleasant during my visit! You must visit this restaurant to taste thier deliciousness! Mmmmmmm!

Over 30 minutes in the drive-through. Fine, I've worked fast food before - I get it. Went inside for an estimate of time remaining. A woman comes in shortly after and asks if I'm the one driving my vehicle and hands me my order. She announces to everyone that there was "no one in the car, " as if to somehow shift the blame of the delay onto me. I have quite a lot of patience, but I don't remember a time I've ever come away so pissed.

My aunt had ordered steak strips. We had been waiting — without exaggeration — 40 minutes outside in our car. When she got down to complain, it was revealed our food had been ready for 30 minutes and the reason why it wasn’t brought out was because the employees were socializing and playing around. Never coming back again to this ghetto establishment and I suggest you don’t either. Food is cold to the touch.

Needs a good cleaning! We observed several workers just standing around and talking. Toast had a bad taste. Won’t be back.

7/23/23 I am so disappointed today with Dairy Burger. I called to speak with the manager with my complaint. I called in my order, requesting my order to be fresh. The breading on the steakstrip was not flaky. It hard to explain, the batter so stuck together like glue.

6/26/2023 I called in our order of a large steak strip basket made fresh. It was the best ever. Thank you for listening to the customer request.

We had been disappointed several times. Steak strips are being reheated or double battered to cover the old.

Workers are all bundled up in the counter yet took forever to get to costumers and they looked confused most of the time

Fried Chicken Garden Salad awesome and substantial.

We had steak finger baskets and a chicken strip basket. The fries were beyond disgusting, either really bad oil or overcooked, they were dark brown and gross. Couldn't get my son to eat the fries or the strips, (don't blame him). The gravy is not the same either. Everything lacked flavor and was completely overcooked. I'm so sad that it has come to this. We usually ate at the other DB (281) and we might have just been used to their food and service which was excellent that we can't adjust to this one. We spent about $42. This restaurant could also really use some upkeep.

Manager there thought it was funny to laugh in front of me when she gave me a tea with two little sips and tried to blame another girl who looked flabbergasted at being blamed real professional never going there again.honest to God Kelly check your staff brother they gonna run it to the ground.

Just found out you can get a mix of chicken strips and steak strips for a basket?
It's cheaper to buy a large steak strips basket!
The tea is to die for

It's cheaper to buy the 12 piece steak fingers
And you can ask for half steaks fingers and chicken strips! Who knew!

It was ok, burgers were delicious.the rest wasn't good.the employees weren't.except for the little old woman.she was good to us

Absolutely worth the trip. HANDS DOWN THE BEST STEAK FINGERS EVERRRRRR.the gravy/sauce served with it is the PERFECT accompaniment. So random too that they have such delicious fresh salsa. I could literally drink that stuff it so yummy! Speaking of drinking, the sweet tea is lethal! Diabetes in a cup! Totally recommend doing half/half and it's worth every carb! Literally had them on a Friday and went back on Monday for one last dose of tea & steak strips before leaving town. My only complaint was that the place was a little run-down & the staff seemed annoyed to be taking our order. They're probably so busy because the demand is so high. Literally a drive thru line out to the street the ENTIRE time for both visits. So I get it, they're busy, and like everyone else they're probably under staffed. But a smile and a "welcome" goes a long way imo. Will definitely be back tho!

First time back in a while and sevice was bad, prices went up, second location shut down, food quality went down.
The only thing that hadn't changed was the tea.
