This is THE WORST Dairy Queen I have ever
patronized. I am so happy I do not live in Abilene bc
I love blizzards but received THE WORST one ever.
First, I was in line approximately 25mins from
pulling up to picking up my blizzard at the window.
This is a VERY long time when all you ordered is one
blizzard and a water. I finally get to the window and
the woman hands me a large coke which I never
ordered. I tell her this so she throws it out. Then she
reaches into a small freezer and pulls out what is
supposed to be my Hawaiian blizzard. It was very
runny and maybe this is why she didn't do the
typical turn the blizzard upside down trick they
ALWAYS do before handing it to you. Not only that,
the blizzard looked like vanilla ice cream…. NO
toppings inside the blizzard! This has never
happened to me ever! It is always so thick and full of
toppings. I asked to speak with the Manager. She
didn't appear as I expected a Manager to look. She
was disheveled and very unprofessional. She stated
they were short staffed when I mentioned the long
wait. I asked her to take a look at the VANILLA ICE
CREAM posing as a blizzard but she had nothin to
say other than "I can remake it for you. " I asked her
to please do that and let me tell you…it was not
much better. Like I said, happy I don't live here if
this is how they operate the Dairy Queen around
here.

Three out of our 5 meals were missing cheese (yes we paid) we take it back and get attitude and no apologies then a slice of cheese just slapped on there all cold. One of the burgers was supposed to be no onions and pickles and they didn’t get that right either mind you the wait was long! Will not be returning ever!

It turns out the dining room at this location is closed due to not enough staff. I got my banana split in the drive thru and will say it was delicious

This is the worst Dairy Queen I have ever been to. My family and I ordered tacos at the drive-thru and and realized when we got home that we were missing 4 tacos. After calling and speaking to the manager Misty, she was extremely rude and blamed us for their mistake. Before she hung up she said “go ahead and come pick up your free tacos”. Free tacos? You mean the tacos I paid for but did not receive due to your employees negligence? We went back later that day to pick up the tacos they owed us and after waiting 25 minutes in the drive-thru line she tells us that she will not help us unless we come inside. Then proceeded to argue with my husband at the drive-thru intercom. Why she needed to further inconvenience us over just 4 $1 tacos is ridiculous to me but we complied and my husband went inside. She then argued with him again at the counter in front of other customers. When we finally did receive our tacos, they were very underfilled and not even warm. Misty was completely unprofessional and without a doubt the rudest employee I’ve ever had an experience with. I’m completely baffled that she is an Assistant General Manager, she has no business being in charge of others when she doesn’t even know how to speak to customers. I hope the GM or owner finally reads the 20+ reviews on her and takes action. I will never visit this location again.

Called store to let them know they got my order wrong. The manager got loud right away and disrespectful she kept talking over me and arguing when I asked her for her bosses number she said byeee && hung up. Never again will I soend another dollar at that location

Since this locations management is still chicken of covid. Or they lack the staff which one is it? Two ladies were trying to place their order that didn't have a vehicle with another driver and the manager which was a male. Comes out and threatened to call the cops on them. You even had a side window to help customers that walk up that they refused to use. I watched an Uber Eats or doordash person cancel the order because they refused to give him the order. If you're going to refuse your dining room open at least post a sign explaining as to why. It's not hard to have a little bit of professionalism so that your customers may be given a little bit of understanding.
Luckily upon my colleagues and myself we've decided not to use this location for our needs.

Very disappointing workers are inside working but it’s closed? You should really put a sign in front saying your closed instead of dinning room closed but taking orders? People keep driving up and it’s such an inconvenience!

First time I went I was in the drive through line for 10 minutes without moving so I left. I tried a second time this time it moved but took so long for a simple order. The food was really good though and fresh.

The manager was very rude with his workers it is not polite to get after your employees in front of your customers my second issue was I ordered a vanilla cone dipped in chocolate I didn't get the dip just the cone with vanilla I preferred to just leave it at that and left

Love DQ. But they really need to implement a system like other fast food places; put aside an area for people with large food orders to wait. This moves the drive through line along, which is a real problem at this DQ.

Well*' Tonite by the experience I encountered; this is what I see: . The younsters u all have working there aren't very courteous/ or smiling/ or saying I'll be with u shortly! This is customer courtesy! Plz train & u'll will have great/ more business.other then that food is good!

If you order 4 pcs chicken tenders they will give 3 real and 1 rubber
If you order more than 4 pcs they will give 2 or 3 rubber tenders what a disappointed trip from Von Ormy Tx

Idk if it was ME, or REALLY really the Ice cream, well the LG Ice Cream cone and it didn't have that sweet taste in it, to me it seemed like the ice cream went stale or out of date, if possible. But there was just something missing that I didn't even finish it, I just took a few licks and trashed ️it.
And I grew up as a '80s kid with dairy Queen so I know the taste of ice cream from dairy Queen and that did not have it.

Food is delicious. The service was great. I love service that is straight to the point, yet still caring. These people did not seem like being nice was forced at all and made me aware that if I needed something I should feel free to ask. The building is noticeably getting old but it is kept clean. The restrooms are also clean. I drive out here because I used to come when I was younger and this DQ is better than ever

Their ice cream was amazing and so was the food. It gets very very busy towards lunch and dinner but it is worth the wait.

On March 17th I visited the store on Marbauch. After literally repeating my order at the top of my lungs and realizing drive thru clerk had a difficult time hearing I informed her I would place order at window. Atleast nine minutes later and at drive thru window clerk wanted to charge me for someone else's order. After informing clerk I was the one she could not hear I placed order she then asked me to drive to front and wait for food to keep stats low- as if I already hadn't been waiting long enough to speak to her directly and had not been sufficiently annoyed.
I decided to go inside and wait. Same clerk gave me order minus my drink which she immediately provided when I pointed it out to her. I inspected the order once inside my car and with all the confusion I mistakenly though she did not include my tacos. I spoke to a clerk who identified herself as an assistant. At the onset I calmly informed asst.of issue and all she unopologetically told me drive thru clerk was having trouble with headset. I work for hearing department for a major health insurance company and was genuinely concerned whether clerk had a difficulty hearing. But the asst.clerk just seemed to not want to listen to what I had to say. I received no apology for inconvenience nothing. Furthermore, why are you forcing people to place order at window if you know your company equipment is not working properly? Or, why is this establishment not putting some kind of note letting customers know to speak loud and clear because of the speaker issue? Customers don't want to just hear what problems you are having but that you are conscious and sorry for inconvenience and will be placing someone outside to assist with any issues-something. In other words what are you actively doing to solve issue not just that you aware there's a problem. Why is this company hiring supervisors that have no customer service skills? This asst.never once apologized for my inconvenience even after 3 minutes into the conversation. I advised her of this and she retorted by saying I was the one who made a mistake by assuming she didn't include tacos in my order in an effort to deflect from the real problem which I calmly stated at the beginning of my conversation and which included faulty equipment namely the headset previously mentioned. By this time I was thoroughly annoyed and appalled. I angrily demanded my money back and asst clerk kept continuing to argue with me. I was upset and told her to fuc$$ng refund my money. At that point communication was out the window and the posse of little hoodlums they hire for a crew were seemingly getting ready to escort me out Their utter lack of empathy and concern for the consumer experience is criminal. Another one of the sleazy female clerks threatened to call the police because I had used profanity in demanding a refund and after becoming annoyed by this ridiculous excuse for a shift leader. I never once threatened anyone and simply wanted my money refunded which eventually happened.
I have been coming to Dairy Queen since I was 15 years old and have fond memories of eating a Beltbuster meal before school in the morning. That was 40 years ago but NO MORE. The people they hire, their undoubtedly lack of drug testing and starting rate at a disgraceful 10$ an hour is the reason why not only does this company hire people that DO NOT have any stake in the future of this company but also don't care for the customer experience.
As God is my witness this is the last time I patronize this cauldron of rejects and appalling model of what not to do when a client is thoroughly inconvenienced. Or any Dairy Queen for that matter- disgusting!

So apparently when you asked for Whip cream they only put dot. Dont waste your money purchasing whip cream people.smh. Do better DQ why charge if you dont put any really on. I just got home and that's my sundae with " whip cream"

The crew here is always short-staffed but they do the best that can and always deliver quality food and ice cream. I'm glad this DQ never went away like so many have.

Everytime I come here there seems to be a problem… staff is always rude, I told her at the speaker I wanted icecream and she said “well then you will have to wait 15 - 20 minutes we are understaffed” then never came back to the speaker I would have understood if she wouldn’t have said it with attitude
