Dairy Queen Store, Smithville TX

This place is genuinely the worst thing that could even be allowed in a public view.if this food chain was not the only one and had competition, The FDA and OSHA would shut this whole place down. The head manager who has been running the place for years, could care less about her employees, shows why she can’t keep any workers. She is not willing, nor did teach employees, and when asked by her or co-workers.their thought of training is by throwing you front face to let you make mistakes and take backlash.they have no orientation what’s so ever.and the food? Already cooked in the morning and they all just mircrowave it all day with no gloves.and the customers in town were very disrespectful and racist, shoving food towards me for saying it’s wrong because of the other issues, them not teaching.this review is not a joke and i held my mouth to long.i will 100% make sure someone comes and see this facility and everyone knows how truly horrible the work place is. If kids or people didn’t settle for the country or this one and only job out here, it would be out of business, that’s a fact.not only as a customer but an employee. And if this doesn’t telling you anything there’s a whole lot more

Great treats, local favorite for decades. If one the people here working would work. Slow service. Ice cream is good. Food is a little low quality my Belt Buster tasted sour even with no pickles or mustard?

Do not try to get the advertised specials. Great deals on the commercials are NOT HONERED at this store. It makes Dairy Queen a Texas embarrassment

The food is fast and good, the people are great and the restaurant is clean. What more is there? Maybe the best ice cream and treats? I just wish we had a DQ this good in Bastrop.

Very good burgers and blizzards. The service was fast and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

I’m trying to figure out why the message said they were closed right as I pulled up to the menu

All the workers were peeking threw the window at me
At 10: 50pm!
And online said they don’t close until 11pm?
They still had people at the second window getting their food.
You couldn’t stay open 10 more minutes like that was going to kill you!
Ridiculous if your not going to stay open until 11 change your hours so I don’t waste my gas and times coming over there!

Probably one of the best experiences we have had. Stopped here to cool off with dairy-free dilly bars and received the dairy kind. Staff made it right. When mentioning that I would take the open dairy dilly bar, staff said sure. No cost because they would have thrown it out.

They went one step further and recommended tire shops in Smithville as we had a bad tire needing replaced. The staff was so kind and sociable. When it got slow, they came and had a great comversation with us.

Will definitely come again.

The service seem to like they would rather be somewhere else than taking your order. Took forever to get my food. Through the drive-thru. Food was good. Done perfectly. I got cheese sticks and chili cheese fries. They could definitely have somebody with a little bit better attitude on the drive-thru speaker.

There was a flying bug in my freaking milkshake and there was a homeless kid running around punching people.smh brah

This particular DQ has one guy that works there that is awesome! He's very friendly, cares about customers, and makes you feel appreciated.

The food was hot and good, but severed me at the table in Togo bags.then we ordered banana splits.no whip cream, no nuts and no cherry on top.again severed in Togo containers.

Pricing is outrageous. Their prices are extremely high due to being the only fast food restaurant in town.

Like everything else, getting way to pricey. It's fast food. Ice cream is still good but also way too expensive.

Well let me start. I was in the drive though trying to get a belt buster w/cheese, no mayo, add mustard.
First time, I got a single meat with mayo, Ketchup only. This didn't get any better after the third time of handing the same burger in and out the window. And every time they kept handing it back they put the burger warmer. I finally gave up. And drove home. The burger was pretty bad I couldn't chew though the bun. So I though the burger away.
